CHAPTER 3💔4
Monalisa finished with her work and headed home.She lived in a small apartment that was rented out to her by an old woman.She got in and pulled off her shoes as she looked around searching for Lilian.
She had barely gotten inside when Lilian jumped on her holding her tightly.
“Get off me,Lily”said Monalisa as she pushed her away.”what was that for?”she added glaring at Lilian.
“You are genius like always.Didnt you say you weren’t going to come there?But you came and fell into the hands of the handsome man.I wish I was the one who fell into his arms”said Lilian and Monalisa scoffed.
“Handsome,my foot.I went there because o felt like he might share money but on getting there I couldn’t even find any bag of money”said Monalisa and Lilian bursted into laughter.
“Do you think he is a fool that will go around with cash?He wrote a cheque of 10billion and gave it to the representative.”said Lilian and Monalisa gasped.
She couldn’t believe he was that rich and she spoke so rudely to him.She scratched her head nervously and chuckled.
“I don’t care about that.When are we told to come for our share?”asked Monalisa and Lilian stared at her in amusement.
“We aren’t getting a penny of the money but it will be used on amenities we lack in the village”said Lilian and Monalisa laughed.
“Are you joking?Who the Fuçk brought that idea?The money is meant for the villagers,shouldn’t it be handed over to us?It is up to us to decide what to do with our money”yelled Monalisa and Lilian hissed.
“Why are you so obsessed with money?.It was the villagers’s decision.”said Lilian and Monalisa scoffed as she bit her lips in anger.
She should have stayed behind and collected her own share.It is not like she needed any if their social amenities.
“What did he tell you?”Lilian asked inquisitively and Monalisa looked at her with raised eyebrows.
“The handsome man.I saw his mouth moving when he dropped you down.What did he say?”asked Lilian and Monalisa hissed.
“Nothing much,he told me his name”Monalisa paused and remembered the pull she felt towards him “Like I asked for his name”scoffed Monalisa and Lilian rolled her eyes at her.
“You are so boring”said Lilian as she jumped on the couch.Minalisa jumped on her and started to tickle her.
“What did you just say?”asked Monalisa as she tickled her harder and Lilian was wiggling and shaking while pleading for mercy.

“A bowl of rice and chicken soup at table 6″said Lilian and Monalisa quickly dished the food and handed it over to Lilian.
They ran a small restaurant in the village and that also assists they income though Monalisa had two other jobs.
She believed the income from the restaurant wasn’t enough to sustain them.She worked as a cleaner in a bakery shop from 4pm to 7pm and she also works at a local bar during weekends.
Lilian managed the restaurant whenever she wasn’t around and sometimes Lilian also goes for a part time job whenever there was an event in the village.
A blue sport car parked in front of the restaurant and two men dressed in blue and white tuxedo came out of it looking as charming as ever.
Everyone left their foods as they watched them walk into the restaurant heading to the counter.They were the men from yesterday,Fredrick and Henry.
Fredrick smiled at Monalisa as he got to the counter.He had found out that she ran the restaurant and he decided to visit with Henry.
Lilian stood rooted to a spot as she stared at them with her mind wide open.
“Cut the crap,Lilian and serve the food to the people on table 6″yelled Monalisa and Lilian quickly moved towards the table.
Monalisa’s gaze turned to the two men standing before her putting holes in her face with their stares.
“Hello!”Monalisa said waving her hand in front of their faces and they chuckled and composed themselves.
“What do you want?”asked Monalisa
“Am Fredrick and this is my friend Henry.”said Fredrick with a smile as he stretched his hand for handshake.
“Just like yesterday I didn’t ask for your name”said Monalisa and Fredrick chuckled as he withdrew his hand.
“We will have two bowls of rice and fish soup”said Henry and Monalisa smiled at him.She wanted business and not some silly introduction.
“Here you go”Monalisa said as she handed the meal over to Henry who collected it with a smile and left.
Monalisa turned to Fredrick and was surprised to see him still standing looking at her.
“Do you need anything else?”asked Monalisa and Fredrick smiled.
“Yes,I need you”Fredrick replied sharply.
“Well,am not available!So if you won’t mind leave the counter.You are obstructing customers”snapped Monalisa and Fredrick laughed.
He winked at her and went to seat at the table Henry was.She seem so tough but he was ready to get into her shell and make her soft for him alone.
