Fransisco dragged the pendent out of her neck.
Immediately she stopped convulsing. He took his backpack and left the house. Mandy helped Khole up and she dusted herself.
“Are you alright baby” Mandy asked affectionately.
Khole breathed heavily while Mandy gave her some water to drink.
“Bye mom,I need to ask Cisco something” She said grabbing her backpack racing to the door.
“Be careful baby, especially with your brother” Mandy whispered and Khole nodded before leaving.
Throughout the drive to school Fransisco refused to talk to Khole. There were both silent that their driver suspected they had a misunderstanding.

HORFORD HIGHSCHOOL
The car stopped and the two siblings stepped out. They still kept their distance and the students murmured.
Fransisco got to his class and sat down. He brought out a novel and started reading but his attention wasn’t in it.
His mind was focused on what happened inside his bathroom the previous night.

FLASHBACK ~ PREVIOUS NIGHT
He allowed the water wet his body as he gently applied soap on his skin. He was lost in his own thoughts.
“Fransisco” A girlish voice called him.
He saw a familiar female face but couldn’t remember where he had seen the face.
His eyes were closed and he struggled to open them but he couldn’t. He heard his name over and over again,it seemed he was under a spell.
He started seeing some ancient men with long white beards just like the ones he read in stories.
They had a little child in their midst and they were performing some rituals. This was taking place inside a cave.
All of a sudden a storm blew and the men turned to ashes then the child floated out of the cave.
He disconnected and then a more realistic vision came. He saw himself same position he was in his bathtub.
An old woman with white hairs,dressed in white flowing gown with white smokes surrounding her appeared at his front.
“Who are you” He managed to ask.
The woman smiled but said noting. She moved over to him and touched the scar on his chest.
He felt a cold movement in it and he grabbed it immediately.
He forced his eyes opened and he saw trace of white smokes clearing out.

PRESENT
Fransisco ruffled his hair.
“I know I saw the white smokes. It felt real,I knew someone came to visit me last night. I know” He murmured to himself arising the suspicion of his class mates.
“And the pendent,it doesn’t go out of the hands of the rightful owner” He heard same girlish voice and he looked around.
