“what’s up with her” who is she to you, anyway?
Rahkel asked.
“She’s my ch….my woman” Nolan said,feeling so
proud.
“Your woman?” And you never told me till now,
Rahkel said pouting.
“I’m sorry,you just cannot understand, R-K” Nolan
said.
“Wh@tëver” Rahkel said and rolled her eyes.
“Let me get the sales record for you” she said,
about to leave but Nolan stopped.
“Just hold on,I’ll be right back” Nolan said and
went after Peyton.

“He didn’t even bother to stop me or come after
me,such a jerk” Peyton jibed.
She turned on the car air conditioner, then the
music and relaxed back listening to the music.
Nolan knocked on the car door,making her
shudder.
When she realized it was Nolan, her heart skipped.
She pressed on a button and the car unlocked.
Nolan got in and sat down.
Peyton was still angry, angry for no reason and it
was obvious.
“Why did you leave?” Nolan asked, calmly.
“Nothing” she replied simply.
“You were happy when we got here,why the sudden
attitude” Nolan asked.
“Ha! Don’t tell me you were jealous” Nolan joked.
“I wasn’t, why should I be jealous?” You are not my
boyfriend, last time I checked.
So,why should I be jealous when you’re around
other women? She blurted and regretted saying
that almost immediately.
Nolan chuckled instead and that surprised her.
“It’s obviously written on your face, you were
jealous” he said again.
“I said I wasn’t” Peyton said and hit his hand.
“That felt so good, you should do that to me more
often” Nolan said, giving her a wink.
“Is he being serious right now?”
“Why is he trying to make me angry”
Peyton remembered he once told her she looks
cuter when she’s angry.
“Look at me” he said,more like an order.
Peyton has been avoiding looking at his face,she
doesn’t want to look at those eyes that drive her
nuts.
She suddenly turned to face him and there they
were,those eyes staring deep into her.
His eyes drifted to her pink and succulent lips,he
had a strong urge to kiss her,but he controlled
himself.
“What if I ask for her permission first” I so much
crave for this,but I don’t want to scare her. He said
inwardly.
He’s still trying to make her trust him,he doesn’t
want to make her doubt his feelings for her the
more.
“Were you jealous or not? He asked
“I…I….can we leave?” I’m tired,she changed the
subject immediately.
Nolan chuckled and nodded in affirmative.
“I will let Rahkel know we are leaving” he said and
got out of the car.
