“I….I….umm….I slipped and fell in the bathroom” she lied.
“Oh my,hope you didn’t hurt your arm or leg? Brenda asked.
“I…I didn’t, just a slide pain on my knee” she lied again.
Nora didn’t believe her one bit.
She knew what was wrong with her,not after they both vanished from the party yesterday when it was just halfway gone.
And no one saw them till this morning they’re sitting on the dinning, eating.
She just smiled and shook her head.
Peyton was nervous and was seriously praying Nora doesn’t ask more questions.
Like,how in the world would she tell them what they did last night, jeez!
Nolan looked at her and smirked.
“Be careful next time,but are you sure that was what happened? Nolan asked.
Peyton gave him dead glares and he behaved himself immediately,but he was chuckling.
Everyone ate silently afterwards, they parted their ways.
When Peyton and Nolan went back to their room.
Peyton jammed the door and locked it.
“Have you completely lost it?” She asked Nolan who pretended like he doesn’t know what she’s talking.
“What did I do?” He asked, raising his shoulders in a questioning way.
“What did you do that for?”
“You didn’t expect me to tell them we had sëx last night, did you? She questions.
“Hey,calm down. I didn’t expect you to,and I knew you weren’t going to” he said softly.
“Stop telling me to calm down,you made a fool out of me,don’t you know?” She asked,frowning and folding her arms.
“I’m sorry,baby. But Nora asked the question, not me. I’m sorry” he said again, trying to touch her.
“Don’t touch me!” she half yells and yanked his hands off her.
Before Nolan could say anything else, she started crying like a baby.
“Jeez,can’t believe she’s crying over nothing” Nolan mumbled.
He moved closer to her and hugged her,wiping the tears that were dropping down like a water fountain.
Peyton might be a no nonsense and crazy person,but she’s also a big baby also that cries easily over little things.
Nolan just couldn’t stop looking at her in shocks.
It’s not like she’s not cried before in his presence, but this one shocked him a lot.
“I’m sorry” he said again and pulled her closer,resting her head on his chest as he kept patting her back soothingly.
“Are we still going to the Restaurant?” He asked her.
Peyton sniffed and nodded her head.
“How long is Rahkel staying here? She sniffed and asked.
“I don’t know, cause she said she doesn’t know when she’s going back yet. Probably after our wedding”Nolan answered.
“Why are you asking, anyway? He asked.
“I just felt like asking, that’s all” she replied.
Nolan stared at her,then pulled her into another hug.
“Guess how much I love you” he said as she wrapped her hands around his waist,placed her head on his chest and feeling his heart beat.
“As much as you love s*x?” Peyton guessed.
“Hahahaha” Nolan laughed out loud.
“Way more than that,baby” he said and Peyton’s cheeks turned red.
“I love you” she said,pouting.
“I love you more” Nolan replied.
“Promise not to play with my heart” Peyton said unreasonably.
At least they’re engaged, that’s a little assurance that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
So why did she say that?
“I promise” Nolan said and kissed her forehead.
“To the Restaurant, shall we” he asked and Pey nodded.
TWO WEEKS LATER****
Peyton and Nolan sat in their room talking about random things.
From Vina’s court case to their wedding that was fast approaching.
“Babes?” Peyton called as she placed her head on his chest while lying down.
“Yea…” Nolan answered.
“How many babies should we have after we get married?” Peyton asked.
“Two, one boy one girl” Nolan said.
“Why,that’s too much” she pouted.
“Too much? Just two,and that’s too much?” Nolan asked chuckling.
“So you plan on having only one baby,jeez! He said and flicked her nose.
“Ouuch! Stop doing that! She half yells.
Nolan chuckled.
“Why would you want to have only one baby,huh? He asked but she didn’t reply.
“Speaking of babies, I think we should tell Nora already” she suggested.
“Are you sure about this” he asked.
“Yea,the earlier the better. Let’s start finding solutions to her problem now” she said.
Nolan smiled.
“I will ring Gray” he said.
“What for” she asked.
“He should be aware of this,he needs to know too,right? He asked.
Peyton was about answering when she felt her stomach acting funny.
Soon,it was high up on her neck and she quickly rushed to the bathroom, emptied everything into the toilet before flushing.
She washed her face and mouth before coming out.
She walked out of the restroom with her hand on her face, rubbing and trying to get herself back.
She pumped on Nolan who followed her immediately to know what was wrong with her.
“Are you alright?” He asked, concerned.
“I’m fine, it might be what I ate this evening before coming here” she said.
Nolan looked at her,still not okay with her”I’m fine”.
“Are you sure,should we go see the doctor?”
“How can you just throw up like that? He said.
“Nothing’s wrong with me,babes. I’m fine” she said.
He overlooked it and they both went downstairs.
