“How on earth did you know that song”.
“Mr Non Living Thing, what’re you…..”
“Just answer the question Megan, how did you know that song!!” He yells as his eyes turn red.
“Why’re you screaming”. She asked.
“Just tell me where on earth, you got to learn that song”. Axton again with a calm voice, as his eyes became misty.
“Well, I don’t know the entire lines of the song, I just by chance heard a brother and sister singing the song as they walked home ten years ago”.
FLASHBACK~SAN FRANCISCO=TEN YEARS AGO***
“Dad, when are you coming home”. Megan’s voice then asked, as she walks home.
She was on her school uniform and was going back school.
“Don’t worry Megan, dad will be home today”.
Megan sighs.
“That’s what you always say, but you never come home, what should I do, so you can stop your job as a cop”.
“There’s nothing you can do Megan, and I thought you also wanted to be a cop too”.
“With your busy schedules, I think am going to change my mind, I don’t want to always be far from my family”.
“Does that mean, you will no longer learn martial arts”. Her dad asked over the phone.
“That’s isn’t included, I want to be strong as you, so keep teaching me great fighting skills, I wanna be strong, so no one can step on me”. Megan said as she walks.
“Fine, I’ll be back today, and that’s a promise Megan”.
Megan smiles.
“Then I’ll be waiting for you….I love you too Dad”. Megan said, she giggles and ended the call.
Then she hears two voices singing in the other side of the road as they walked.

Megan looks at them and smiles.
“They’re so cute, he makes a wonderful brother”. Megan muttered smiling.
And since she was so good at memorizing something in just a blink of an eye, she began humming the song, as she walks home.

“Ain’t you tired, you kept singing that short song over and over again”. Megan’s dad said, setting the table for dinner.
“Is not a short song actually, is the only part I got to memorize, have been searching for the song, but I can’t find it in the internet”.
“You ain’t a song lover, so what made you turn into one”.
“I just kinda love the bond they share”.
“Who”.
“I don’t know them dad, I saw them on my way back home, both were singing exactly this song I was singing, and it reminded me of my twin brother”.
“Stop talking about your no good twin”.
“But I miss him so much Dad”.
“But he choose to go with your mom right, he chose wealth over us, so why should you miss him”.
“But dad, you said Miguel was just 3 years old when he left with mom, he probably didn’t know anything then”.
“And what about you, were you 13 years old then, you were also 3 years old back then, but you decided to stay with me right”.
“But Dad….”
“Let’s just eat Megan okay, and I promise to teach you a lot of fighting skills okay”.
Megan looks at her Dad and sadly nods her head, taking a few spoon of noodles to her mouth.
She later lays back on the bed, after her training with her dad, singing the song she learnt from Axton and Sofia.

“Am going to find Miguel, that’s for sure, and we can be like the happy siblings I saw ealier”. She muttered, caressing her locket necklace, humming the song.
And since then she has always heard that five lines of the song in her head.
FLASHBACK ENDS***
“Is that how you got to learn the song”. Axton asked.
“Yes, I learnt the song from the siblings I met once years ago, I can’t say is a meeting, coz I was the only one who saw them, I got swayed by the song, since it also remained me of my own brother”.
Axton sighs, releasing his grip from her.
“Why’re you asking”.
“Never mind, I must’ve been a fool to think she might probably be alive despite seeing the fire take over the house”.
“What’re you talking about Mr Non Living Thing”. Megan asked looking confused.
Axton looks at her, and without saying anything, he leaves.
“He sure has a problem, he grabbed my hand all of a sudden and ask where I learnt that song from, after giving him details, he left me hanging, his getting me pissed off swears”. Megan said.
But nevertheless, she continues watering the flowers.

BRAXTON’S ROOM***
Braxton screams out angrily the moment she got to her room.
“Calm down Braxton”. Spooky said.
“I can’t calm down Spooky, you saw what that Megan girl did to us right, no one apart from the boss can do that to me, but that tiny girl did”.
“She’s not a weakling, judging from the fact that she said she’s the daughter of a cop, it means she must have been taught martial arts right from the day she was born”.
“I don’t care about that Spooky, am going to make her pay for doing this to me, and also trying to take the boss from me”.
“Those Best friends are really so annoying, can’t believe Tornado gave her those chocolates, he even smiled at her, and yet he always see me as some kind of trash”.
Braxton smirks.
“Megan think she has won the game, but little did she know that she has just drawn the Battle line”.
“You’re going to fight her again, Megan isn’t some kind of weakling”.
“And who said I was going for her, she cherish Sophia a lot right, and for all we know, Sophia is just a weakling and a cry baby, how about we used Sophia against Megan”.
Spooky smiles.
“Is a great idea Braxton, and I’ll also have the opportunity to treat that Sophi girl a lesson for going close to my Tornado, your a incredible Braxton”.
“I know that right”.
And both laugh hitting hands together.

“What’re you doing here”. Ace asked Freya when he sees her at the rooftop.
Freya smiles, she went to him, holding her hand, but Ace took his hand from her.
“Why’re you the one here instead of Megan”.
“Have you made this place your meeting point”. Freya asked.
“No, and I won’t have show up here, if she didn’t ask me too”.
“What about me, will you have come here if I had told you to”. She asked.
“Stop talking craps and go to bed Freya”. Ace said and turns to leave, but Freya held his hand.
“Do you h@të me that much”. Freya asked with misty eyes, Ace only look at her.
“I don’t h@të you Freya, so stop putting words in my mouth”.
“Then why do you h@të hanging out with me, anytime I try to talk to you, you always shush me off, I even had to ask Megan to help me get closer to you”.
“You did that”.
“I had no option but to, Megan recently came to this mob, but you are always with her, more than I who have been in this clan with you, I don’t why you h@të me Ace, I know am bit annoying, but is not my fault and you don’t have to use it against me, please stop shushing me off please”. Freya begged.
Ace looks at her and sighs.
“What do you want from me exactly”.
Freya takes in her lips.
“I want us to be friends, atleast I can talk to you without you shushing me off, don’t worry about my brother his not against it”.
Ace looks at her.
“Fine, let’s be friends”.
And a huge smile appears on Freya’s face.
“Really, am your friend now”.
“Yeah”.
“Can…can I hug you, just for some seconds”. Freya said with a finger.
Ace looks at her and could only nod.
Freya happily hugs Ace, tightening her arms around him.
“Thank you so much Ace”.
“I can’t breath Freya”. He said and Freya quickly broke the hug.
“Sorry Ace, I was just so excited that’s why, am sorry”.
Ace only nods.
“If is ok with you, can we eat out, I….”
“Sorry Freya, but I can’t, am busy”.
And before Freya could utter a word, Ace was already leaving the rooftop.
Freya looks at him and sighs.
“His always leaving before I can a say a word…..but am glad his friends with me now, is stepping point for me to finally tell him how I feel towards him”. Freya said smiling cutely.
