“For yelling at you ealier, Meg, am sorry”.
Megan looks at him.
“Is this you apologizing to me”. She asked.
Axton sighs and slowly takes his off from her face.
“I dunno either…get some sleep”. He said standing up to his feet.
“Where’re you going” . She asked.
“Just going to take a walk”. He said and leaves the ward.
Megan crimps her lips.
“Axton…apologise to me”. Megan said pointing at herself.

Axton sits in the bench outside the hospital, lighting up a cigarette.
He Puffs out the smoke and sighs.
“Why did you even say sorry to her Axton, you have always h@tëd that word, so how on earth did that word come out from your mouth”. Axton said to himself and sighs.
“Brother, buy me ice cream”.
Axton could hear a little voice speak.
His eyes went to where the voice came from and he sees a little girl holding her brother’s hand
“What kind of ice cream”. The brother asked.
The little girl smiles and said.
“Hmm, mint chocolate ice cream”.
“Alright, let’s go get you some ice cream”.
The little girl giggles, as she and her brother went towards the ice cream vendor, there in the hospital premises.
Axton sighs as he watched them eating their ice cream together and he could remember always eating ice cream with Sofia.
“Will I I ever be able to find the man in the veil”. He muttered to himself.
Braxton has tried finding the mob that bears the name Black wolves some years ago, but she didn’t find anything about that mob.
It was asif it was a name that never existed.
After smoking to his heart content, he went back to the VIP ward, and sees Megan sleeping already.
He walks closer to her and looks at her sleeping face.
“Your the first person have said sorry to after ten years, you know that, and why I said that to you is still a misery”.
He observes Megan and sees she was feeling cold, he looked at the clothes she was wearing, it was a light chiffon clothes.
Axton got a duvet and used it to cover her properly, and he resumes watching her beautiful face.

ADRENALINE MOB***
Fallon arrives in the clan and Artemis was the first one to approach her.
Since Gatsby said Fallon was coming back to the clan, she has been waiting for her.
“Fallon”.
And Fallon looks at her.
“Artemis”. She muttered, her eyes were red and swollen as a result of too much cry.
“Gatsby said Kent is out of danger, is that true”.
Fallon nods.
“Yes for now, let’s hope he wakes up soon”.
“And you, how’re you”. Artemis asked with a worried face.
“I wasn’t the one who got shot Artemis”.
“But you have bruises, and your face is swollen too, you must’ve cried a lot”.
“Am fine Artemis, don’t worry about me, I have to go to my room now, am going back to the hospital to check on Kent tomorrow”.
“Don’t worry Fallon, Kent is going to be fine”.
“Thanks Artemis….goodnight”. Fallon said and leaves.
Artemis looks at Fallon and smiles, adjusting her boylish cap.

“What!, You want me to spy on my boss, what for Serpent”. A voice asked Serpent.
Serpent sits down in the couch, crossing her legs against the other.
“Because am ordering you to Lalita”. Serpent said sipping her wine.
“And why’re you calling me by my real name, I thought we have long seperated as sisters”. The voice said.
Serpent smiles.
“I know that Lalita, but you still have an obligation to fulfill, do you possibly think I allowed you to be a member of the Adrenaline mob for nothing, I knew a day like this will come and that’s why I allowed you to be part of that mob, Jigsaw is counting on me inorder to bring down that Axton, so don’t even think about turning down my order”.
“Fine, what should I do”. She asked.
“Exactly what I wanna hear, keep a close watch on Axton, find out his weakness”.
“The boss doesn’t have a weakness”.
“Am sure he does, you just have to dig deeper, anyone can be his weakness”.
“Now that you said this, I think I have someone in mind”.
“Who”
“Am not yet sure, but once it confirmed, am going to let you know”.
“Good job Lalita”. Serpent said and ends the call.
“Did she agreed to do it”. Jigsaw asked, coiling his hands around her waist.
“Yes she did, she won’t dare say no to me”.
“Your a genius Serpent”.
“I know that Jigsaw, that’s why am called Serpent and sooner or later, we’re going to have Axton wrapped around our fingers”.
And both hits their glasses, laughing in a devilish way.

NEXT DAY=HOSPITAL***
Megan wakes up the following morning, she looks around, but couldn’t find Axton.
Her eyes fell on the duvet cover around her.
“Did he cover me with this”. Megan asked no one in particular, and she didn’t know when a smile appeared on her face.
“But when did he wander off to”. Megan asked herself.
She takes off the duvet from her body, looks at the unconscious Kent before leaving the ward.
Megan met Axton on the hallway talking to Lennox.
“Axton”. She said approaching them.
“You can take her back to the mob”. Axton said.
“But what about you Axton”. Megan asked, somehow she didn’t know why she wants to stay with him.
“I’ll be fine, and once Fallon gets here, I will return to the clan, you should go with him”. Axton said looking at Megan.
And since she doesn’t want to wake up the demon in him, now that’s his talking to her calmly, Megan only nods her head.
“Fine, I’ll be waiting for you then”.
Axton nods.
And Lennox looks at him with dismay.
*Did he just nod to her word*. Lennox said inwardly.
He dare not say it out loud to Axton’s hearings.
“What’re you waiting for, take her back to the mob”. Axton orders.
“Yes boss”. Lennox quickly said.
Megan waved at Axton and surprisingly, Axton waves back, but he snapped out of it, when he realized what he was doing.
“You can go now”. He said and leaves.
Megan looks at him.
“Let’s go Megan”. Lennox said.

“What’s your relationship with the boss”. Lennox asked as he drives her back to the clan.
“We aren’t in any relationship”.
“So does that mean your slowly succeeding in seducing him”.
“Tsk, I doubt that Lennox, his still wearing a stony face”.
“That doesn’t count Megan, he nod his head when you said you’ll be waiting for him, and he even waved back at you, the boss I know will never do such, he even have to call me so early in the morning, to pick you up from the hospital”
“And do you know what he h@tës most”.
Megan shakes her head.
“The word sorry”.
“He h@tës the word sorry”. Megan asked curiously.
“Yes, I dunno why, but you dare not say that word to be”.
“But he said that word to me yesterday”. Megan muttered.
“Huh”.
“Uh…..nothing”. Megan said.
Lennox smiles and continues driving.

And Megan smiles, almost blushing.
The fact that he h@tëd that word, but said it to her, somehow made her feel she was in cloud nine.
