I woke up with my throbbing and I noticed I’m in a unfamiliar place.
“Where am I and what happened to me?”I thought as the memories of yesterday came flashing back
“That witch named Madison”I sat up straight
“I swear,I am gonna pluck out her eyes and feed it to the street dogs” I shouted angrily and my hand hit something really solid at one side of the bed

I noticed it’s a person’s head
Hmmm, that person must’ve slept off while watching over me

I lifted yh person’s head a little bit to see who it was and it’s……….. Doofus?
Doofus was the one watching over me
“Awww, doofus cares about me” I thought and strangely, I felt happy about it
” Snap out of it Marisa, he doesn’t care about you, he’s just one useless playboy” I slapped myself mentally
I started tapping his hand and he didn’t even move

I felt a hand hitting me and I groaned

My eyes found the bed and I saw loudmouth already sitted, smiling at me
” Are okay? Is anything wrong with you? Are you hurt anywhere” I threw a bunch of questions at her as I checked her temperature with my hands
“I’m fine doofus, stop bothering yourself” she said with a smile
She seems fine
” Aren’t you going to school?” She asked
“I’m not” I said and looked away
“Why?” She asked
“You need someone to stay with you and take care of you” I said facing her
” I can take care of myself, I’m not a kid yunno” she said with an eye roll
“And who told you that you could take care of someone? You’re probably gonna annoy the hell outta me” she said again
“How can your mouth be still so loud even when you’re sick” I muttered
“I’m not sick okay, and I don’t have a loud mouth” she replied eyeing me

“So, can you tell me who did this to you?” I asked and she sighed
“It’s-” she was cut off by the door opening
“Marisa” Naya shouted as she entered the ward
“Naya” Marisa said with a smile
“Oh my! Marisa, how’s your health? Are you feeling pain anywhere?” Naya asked
“I’m fine Naya and how did you even know that I’m here? How’s grandma Lisa?” Marisa asked
“Well, this young man here informed us of what happened to you and I came here with grandma Lisa to check up on you but it seems like you aren’t gonna wake up soon so we both left” Naya said
“Okay, where’s grandma Lisa by the way? Why did she not follow you here?” Marisa asked
“She’s worried sick about you and couldn’t sleep last night, so I gave her some sleeping pills this morning” Naya said
“Okay, I get it” Marisa said
“One more thing Marisa, you should get yourself a cellphone so you can keep in touch with grandma Lisa, I mean, you can call my number to speak with her or you can just get her a phone” naya said
“Okay naya, I’ll try ” Marisa replied
“Bye Marisa, you should take care yourself and mr handsome, take care of her” naya said and ran out of the
Now I think all Paupers are crazy
This girl’s just so dramatic like Marisa
” So are you hungry?” I asked Marisa
“Soo hungry” she replied
“I’ll go get your breakfast” I said
“Wait, I thought the hospitals deliver breakfasts to the patients” she said
“Of course, but I don’t want you to eat hospital food” I said
” Okay then, Don’t be late and don’t forget to get a lot of beefs and chickens and porks and turkeys and–” I ran out of the room before she complete her statement
“Hey you! Come back here!” I heard her shout and chuckled
“How can someone like meat that much” I thought and shook my head

I walked out of my room and head straight to the dining room
I met everyone already seated, including devil’s stepsister
“Morning momma” I Pecked mom on her cheeks

“Morning princess” dad said
“You said?” Chloe said returning the glare and I jus ignored her
I opened the cover of my food and the inviting aroma filled my nose
I quickly picked the cutleries and started eating
“Seems like someone’s hungry” mom said and laughed
“Really hungry” I replied with my mouth filled with beef
I really love beef and meat
” So, chloe will be starting school with you on Monday, how so you feel about it?” Dad said and the spoon I was holding fell off my hand
“You said?” I said staring at him
“He said chloe would be starti–” I cut mom off
“Wait,wait,wait,wait,wait” I shouted
“You mean she’s going to my school? On Monday?” I asked in complete shock
“Yes or aren’t you okay wit–” mom said but I cut her off again
“d@mn it mom! Can’t she go to another school” I shouted
“I can’t go to another school, it’s royalty high or no other school” chloe shouted
“Shut the hell up you damned Bîtch” I yelled and she kept quiet
I pushed my food to the middle of the table and stood up
“I lost my appetite” I said and stormed out of the dining room to the sitting room
I picked my backpack and walked to the garage
I saw my driver already standing near the car and I entered the car

“It’s– she was cut off by the door of the ward opening
“Risa!” Isabella shouted
“Gosh! Why must everyone interrupt her when she wants to say who it was” I said already frustrated
First naya, second nora and luna and now Isabella
“Hi there luna” Isabella waved at luna who was seating on a plastic chair

” So, how’re you feelin’ now sweetie” Isabella said to Marisa
” It’s obvious she’s fine with the way she’s eating like a hungry beast” I said and she hit my head with the spoon she’s holding

“I didn’t insult you it was only the tr–” Marisa cut me off
“Complete that sentence and I’m gonna hit you with the spoon again” Marisa said and I quickly kept quiet while isa and luna chuckled
Nora came in with five cups of coffee
Seems like she knew Isabella was coming
“Coffee?” Marisa frowned
“Yeah, what happened to it?” Luna asked
“Not a fan” Marisa said
“Same here” Isabella said
“Uhm…doofus, can you tell the doctor to free me from this prison now? I’m really fine” Marisa said
“What? You still need to stay for a few days to see if you’re really fine” I replied
“But I am fine, I’m perfectly fine, I just h@të hospitals, It feels like I’m caged” she said
“But–” she interrupted me
“Please” she made a cute puppy eyes
“Fine” I sighed in defeat
I stood up and started going towards the door then walked out of the room

I threw the phone at the wall in anger
Karen snapped a picture with her? And he even posted it? And the worst of it all, she’s alive and it’s karen that saved her?

” Can you see how close they are?” Jane said
“Yeah, and it’s pissing me off”I shouted
“What do you plan to do now? What if she expose you?” Jane said obviously scared
“Did you deactivate the CCTV jane? The one at the pool side?'”I asked
“Of course,I did it immediately you asked me to do it” Jae replied
“Then that’s perfect, nobody will believe her cause there’s no evidence, only her wretched friends will believe her and even if they arrest me, I’m gonna get out through my dad’s connections” I said
“Then that means just one thing…… You’re free” Jan jumped up happily
I know Jae really like me but I need someone much better than her

“One more thing madi, I think you should forgive ava, she seems so sorry and what if she even leaks all our secrets” jane said
“No jane, ava is just so stupid, I don’t need someone like her” I said
“Okay then, but I really suggest you forgive her” Jan said
“Enough with the suggestions jane, I’m not forgiving her unless.. unless she brings a really useful information about Marisa and her friends, then I’ll know if she became smart or still stupid and dumb” I said and sat on the couch
“Alright….. And now I’m hungry” Jane said and her stomach grumbled
I chuckled and started yelling a maid’s name
” Linda, Linda, get your lazy @$$ here” I shouted and she rushed and into the room
“Yes young madam” she said
“Get me two hamburgers and don’t forget the ketchups” I ordered
“Okay madam” she said and ran out of the room

I kinda did something terrible to Isabella in the past and that’s why she named me devil’s stepsister
I picked up my phone and pulled a call across madelyn
“Bestie” I squealed
“What? I’m so mad at you chloe, you can’t even call or text me after your plane landed, u was worried sick about you” she shouted
“I’m so sorry madelyn, I was just so stressed out after the flight and my aunt didn’t even give me a breathing space, asking if I want this or that” I said
“It’s okay, you know I can’t be mad at you for too long, how’re you now” madelyn said
“I’m fine” I said
“Oh gosh! I’ve missed you like hell, can’t you come back tomorrow?” She said

She’s just as devilish as I am but she’s sometimes nice
“No madelyn, I can’t, I have something really important to do here and I won’t come back until I accomplish my mission” I said
“Okay, so did you get the school jason now attend?” She asked
“Yeah, it’s actually Isabella’s school and I’m getting registered on Monday” I said
“OMG! That’s perfect” she squealed happily
“Yeah, it really is, I’m finally gonna see my jason after so many years” I said dreamily
“Chloe” I heard aunt’s voice calling
“Gotta go madelyn, my aunt’s calling me” I said and ended the call without waiting for a reply
I walked out of my room to the sitting room
Aunt was sitting on a couch and there’s more than five shopping bags with her
“Aunt mira” I walked closer to her” what’s all this? Who’s it for?”
“For you darling, you must’ve been exhausted after the flight yesterday so, I did a little bit of shopping for you” she said and brought out a bl ue flowing gown
She raised it up and I gasped
“Isn’t it beautiful?” Aunt mira smiled
“So beautiful” u said as I admired the gown…

I walked out of the restroom and headed to the cafeteria to meet luna, nora and Evans
Back in the hospital, Marisa told us that it was madison who pushed her in the swimming pool, karen tried to call the police but Marisa stopped him, saying she wanna deal with Madison in her own way and also… There is no evidence
I continued walking through the hallway and suddenly madison and Jane appeared and blocked my way
“Now what do you want?” I said and folded my arms under my Brë@št
“Nothing bad, just want you to deliver a gift to Marisa” madison said
“You’re really shameless madison,after trying to kill Marisa, you still have the guts to present a useless god-damned gift to her” I yelled angrily
“Stop yelling at me,if Marisa hasn’t tried to get in my way then I wouldn’t have done that to her” madison shouted
“Oh really? You’re really despicable madison and I h@të YOU!” I shouted and walked away
“Isabella” I heard a voice call
“What the Fuçk do you want again madison?” I shouted and turned to look at her but I saw someone completely different from Madison
