” No!!! Please!!!” Virus begged, looking so pitiful.
Barbie raised the sword heartlessly on her again, and the sword began coming to cut off her neck.
Another sword blocked it, stopping the sword from getting to Virus.
Barbie looked up to see that it was Sylvia who saved Virus.
” It’s over, Barbie. Let her go.” Sylvia said frankly.
Barbie made to talk when red lights began flashing everywhere, indicating that there was trouble.
They all made their way out immediately, leaving Virus to herself.
Lucy stopped beside her for a moment, then she smiled.
” I don’t regret doing this. Maybe this’ll teach you to stay away from Bomb. He isn’t yours alone.” She said before walking out.
Virus groaned continuously.
♣ RESEARCH LAB ♣
When Sylvia got there with Barbie, the computer techs were clicking seriously on their boards, trying to figure out what was going on.
Red lights were also flashing in the lab. It was everywhere.
” What’s going on?” Sylvia asked when they got to Sandy and Easter who were behind computers.
” Intruders have broken into the empire through one of the three secret entrances. We’ve managed to shut down the entrance, but many of them have gotten in already.” Easter reported.
” Do we know where they’re from?” Barbie asked.
” I managed to catch a logo on their outfits. It matches the same one from Thorn’s empire.” Sandy replied.
” He finally came.” Sylvia muttered, looking at Barbie.
” We both know what to do. It’s now or never, let’s beat this fool to death.” Barbie said, then they both walked out of the lab.
They walked past the other top mafiosos without a word, making them exchange confused glances among themselves.
” What do we do now?” Lucy asked, then Easter and Sandy joined them.
” Follow the bosses and gather your weapons.” Easter said, and they all went out at once.
♣ OUTSIDE THE EMPIRE ♣
Sylvia and Barbie got out first. Blood had painted everywhere already, heads were rolling, dead bodies were lying around and the mafiosos from both clans were fighting against each other.
Barbie pulled out knives, and Sylvia held a gun, ÇOçking it to action, then they both dived into the fight.
Sylvia began to shoot Thorn’s mafiosos, blowing their heads off and more than 10 of them fell at once. She ran into the fight more, desperately searching for Thorn to murder him herself.
Barbie dragged her knife out of a guy’s head. A girl came to attack her from behind with a sword, but she turned around faster and stabbed her head right on time.
She got surrounded instantly, and she pulled her knife out before standing still. The enemy mafiosos yelled and ran to attack her at once.
She smiled evilly before jumping into the air, throwing down many knives at once. The knives sunk into their heads and killed them instantly, then she landed back on on her feet.
The other top members arrived already, then they joined in the fight.
Sniper and Bomb stood back-to-back, holding guns and glaring at the enemy mafiosos as they got surrounded.
The mafiosos came attacking fastly, and they began shooting numerous bullets at them.
Treynor and Agony were fighting with fists and kicks. They’d already taken down over 20 enemy mafiosos together.
Venom was fighting alone, but she was skilled enough with her snake poison. She spat out her saliva and it poured on them like rain, but almost immediately they began screaming as her venom burnt them alive.
They turned completely green, and their skin melted away as their bones were left and collapsed to the ground.
Storm and Eagle were together. Eagle held a flame thrower and shot at them, burning them alive as their screams filled his ears.
He smiled with pleasure, then Storm dropped a bomb in their midst and they blew up. Their body parts came flying into the air, and they did a fist bump.
Sylvia shot down another mafioso that tried to attack her. She spotted a girl wearing a mask just like her, using flaming arrows as her weapon.
That must be Thorn’s new second-in-command. But if she’s here, then where was Thorn? Did that mean that Thorn didn’t come?
She tightened her grip on her gun, almost breaking it. Then she controlled herself and ran after her.
She arrived at Arrow’s back and aimed for her skull, but Arrow quickly sensed the danger and bent low, so Sylvia shot and missed her.
Arrow stood again and faced Sylvia, stretching a flaming arrow at her.
” I’ve been expecting you to come, but you came quite late.” Arrow said with an icy look, and Sylvia smirked behind her mask.
” I expected Thorn to at least be creative in choosing another second-in-command. But he chose to recruit an underdog like you?” Sylvia fired.
” Call me that one more time, and I’ll aim for your heart.” Arrow threatened.
” My brother killed Thorn’s first underdog, Rain. He was just as skilled as me because I thought him all he knew, so killing you will be a piece of cake.” Sylvia scorned.
Arrow wasted no more time in talking and fired a flaming arrow at Sylvia. Sylvia skillfully turned on a spot, moving out of the way at the same time.
She shot at Arrow too, but Arrow dodged.
The two are both fairly matched against each other, but at the end, one of them has to win.
They continued trying to shoot and kill each other for many minutes, but not a single one of them got hit. It seemed like the fight would last longer than expected.
Sylvia tried shooting Arrow again, but nothing came out of the gun. Her eyes widened as she ran out of bullets.
Arrow smiled victoriously before heartlessly shooting a flaming arrow, right for her head.
Sylvia caught the arrow right before it could touch her head, and Arrow’s eyes were next to widen.
Sylvia threw the arrow back, but Arrow bent backwards, dodging it.
She stood back up, but was even more astonished to find Sylvia standing directly in front of her. Sylvia pierced her stomach with a sword, and Arrow spat out blood.
” You’re not even half as beautiful as me.” She said.
” Füçk you.” Arrow spat arrogantly.
Sylvia smirked and sunk the sword in fully and Arrow yelped, falling to her knees in defeat.
She groaned painfully, struggling to breathe well. Sylvia bent to her level and pulled out the sword, making her scream out more painfully.
Her bow and arrows fell from her, and Arrow held her bleeding stomach.
” So weak. I expected a worthy opponent to fight with, not a weak imbecile who doesn’t know her place.” Sylvia mocked, walking around her.
She stopped walking and raised her sword, cutting off her right arm.
” Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgghh!!!” Arrow screamed out, leaning to her right side in pains.
Sylvia cut off her left arm almost immediately, and she screamed in agony as that arm fell off.
Sylvia cut off her two legs too, and Arrow screamed once more as blood poured out of her wounds.
Arrow fell on her back since she wasn’t able to sit without her legs, and Sylvia stood beside her head, putting the sword’s tip on her neck.
” Claim that I’m more powerful than you, and maybe I’ll spare you.” Sylvia said.
” Go rot in hell.” Arrow replied adamantly, and Sylvia smiled murderously.
She raised the sword on her neck, and Arrow closed her eyes. Sylvia cut it off without thinking twice, and her blood splashed on her face as her head rolled out of her body.
Sylvia picked up the head, then saw Barbie holding a mafioso by his neck, about to finish him off.
She got to Barbie quicker and snatched the knife she held, but Barbie brought out another knife from her hair without looking at her.
” Barbie, stop.” Sylvia ordered, and Barbie glared at him before leaving his neck hesitantly.
Sylvia threw Arrow’s head at him, and he caught it. His eyes widened in horror upon seeing her dead face.
” Deliver my message to Thorn. Tell him that sooner or later, his head would be next.” She spoke icily, leaving the bloody ground.
They won this time, the next battle might not be so easy, so they’d have to be readily prepared than ever before.
♣ NEXT MORNING ∞ GOLDENEYE CLAN ♣
Thorn himself was sitting on his throne, taking one more puff from his pipe as the whole room was covered in a thick cloud of smoke.
His face was a scary one to behold. He looked aged, and had a scar along his right eye. His left eye wasn’t functioning and had a dead-grey colour, then he had a thick long beard.
His top members were present with him, all looking so fierce and bold.
He began to stroke his beard when the last surviving mafioso from the battle was brought to his front, and he went on his knees with his head lowered.
He was covered in blood.
” My Lord.” He spoke respectfully, hiding Arrow’s head behind him.
Thorn looked at him uninterestedly, then looked away.
” The Donna (female mafia boss) of SILVER BULLET empire has murdered your second-in-command. We lost the battle.” He reported, revealing Arrow’s head.
Thorn’s eyes widened slightly, and as if programmed he looked at Arrow’s head. She was truly killed.
Phoenix secretly smiled from her spot. Maybe this was finally her chance to get promoted from being a top mafiosos to his second-in-command. She had been with him even before Arrow came in, so maybe he’d finally notice her.
He stood from his throne and climbed down it’s stairs, coming to stand in front of the mafioso. He was already trembling insanely as he inhaled the strong smell of smoke from him.
Thorn collected the head and examined her face well, making sure that it was really Arrow. He smiled on realizing it was really true, and even cackled demonically.
His cackle graduated to angry yelling, and he grabbed a nearby sword, slitting the mafioso’s neck open. His head fell backwards as blood poured out of his neck, and he crumbled to the ground dead.
He grabbed Arrow’s head and crushed it with his bare hands, as her remains fell crumbled to the ground.
” I swear, I’ll get back at that good for nothing Bîtch for this.” He growled, panting heavily.
He has no idea of Sylvia’s name, all he knows is that she’s called Bosslady. He doesn’t know that she’s the daughter of his best friend who he betrayed years ago.
A mafioso entered, named Fire.
” Sir, SILVER BULLET is now the top mafia clan in the whole world. They have the most successful missions, highest net worth and…”
That was all he said before Thorn threw the sword at him, and it cut off his neck as both the sword and his head fell at the same time.
” Phoenix.” He summoned, and She smiled happily before running to bow before him.
” Yes, my Lord.” She responded, feeling so excited. She couldn’t wait for him to say it already.
” Take Scarlet and Smoke with you. You three should go into the city and find me a more worthy person to be my second-in-command.” He ordered.
Phoenix’s smile gradually disappeared, and she felt like her brain melted after he said that. Thorn left afterwards, but she stayed frozen in her position till Smoke and Scarlet came to stand in front of her.
” He ignored you… Again.” Smoke said and laughed, but Phoenix rose up and placed her sword on his neck, ending his laughter.
” I’ve had just enough of your mockery all these years. If I hear one more word from you, I’ll kill you without a second thought. I’m closer to Boss than you think, so he won’t punish me if I kill you.” Phoenix threatened.
Smoke gulped, knowing what she was capable off so he kept quiet. Phoenix retracted her sword and stormed off.
” She’s a really proud being and thinks she’s a hundred times better than us. Shes I wonder why I haven’t decided to murder her myself.” Scarlet said, glaring at her back with hatred.
” She’ll meet her downfall soon, just watch.” Smoke replied, slowly rubbing the part that she placed her sword on his neck.
♣ SAME MORNING ∞ SILVER BULLET EMPIRE ♣
Barbie was currently on the training ground, throwing shurikens at target boards.
She threw each one with pinpoint accuracy. Each shuriken she threw met the target boards right at the middle, she didn’t make a single mistake.
She threw another one, but a flaming arrow came out of nowhere and hit the middle hole of the shuriken, pinning it to a target board.
Barbie turned back only to see Sylvia coming with a flaming arrow and bow, and she smiled.
” That was a good shot. Did you get inspired by that Arrow Bîtch?” Barbie spoke.
” Maybe.” Sylvia shrugged.
Thy both knowingly took some steps back, then faced the target boards.
Barbie threw three shurikens at three different target boards at once. Sylvia shot three flaming arrows at once too, pinning the three shurikens without missing.
Barbie smiled impressively, but then decided to challenge her more.
She threw ten shurikens into the air at once. Sylvia quickly shot ten arrows, pinning the shurikens to ten boards without missing.
” It seems like the bosses own the training ground today.” Sniper said beside Bomb. They’ve been sitting and watching the bosses train for quite a while.
” I can’t argue. They are the best of the best afterall.” Bomb replied.
Virus was also there, watching from a safe distance with one arm left. The other arm was yet to be reattached, but she’d be having a surgery to add the arm back soon.
She smirked as she stared h@tëfully at Barbie.
” I’ll make you pay for this.” She said bitterly.
She turned to leave, but immediately met Lucy in front of her. Lucy stood frozen with a shocked look on her face.
” Betrayer! I’ll kill you!” She screamed, launching immediately at her.
They both went to the ground, rolling over each other as Virus pulled her hair with one arm.
” Aaaaaarrrrgghh!!!” Lucy screamed as her hair began slowly separating from her scalp.
