What’s going on here?, Miles asked coming closer. His eyes fell on Chelsea and he stopped walking.
He looked surprised.
Wtf!!! Did he know already????
Dami and Chelsea gulped hard.
Are you not that………, He paused and sighed.
Have we met before?, he asked instead. Chelsea looked at Dami.
Met before?? Wait…….. At that bridge!!!!!. Don’t tell me he remembered me, Dami screamed mentally.
Chelsea chuckled.
Met? Where would meet a big star like you, Chelsea asked.
Dami smiled like a fish.
Does this mean a top celebrity remembered her??
Miles looked at Dami then back to Chelsea.
We were highschool classmates, Chelsea said immediately. Dami and Ryan looked at her.

High school what??? And who even asked her?
I attended Moore’s high school with Dam… sorry Chelsea, Chelsea replied. Dami rolled her eyes
Miles looked at Dami.
And that scream. That’s how we usually fight, it’s a girl’s thing yunno, Chelsea chuckled. Ryan scoffed.
They all turned to him immediately.
Urhm that’s my brother Ryan, Chelsea said.
Gosh. At this rate she may take him home and introduce Granny as too, Dami thought.
How about we go back, I am hungry, I feel like passing out right now, Dami said and grabbed Miles arm.
Okay then, Bye have a nice day, Chelsea said smiling.
Bye see you next time, Dami said and dragged Miles away, not without glaring at Chelsea and Ryan though.

It was almost dark when they left the restaurant.
Chelsea and Ryan had already left.
Dami removed her mask and cap immediately she got inside the car.
Ahhhh life of a celebrity!!!!
Miles also removed his disguise when he entered the car, then he turned on the ignition and zoomed off.
He hadn’t said anything to her since they met Chelsea and Ryan.
She wasn’t worried at first but now she couldn’t help it feel worried.
Was he mad at her??
She cleared her throat loudly to draw his attention but he didn’t even look at her.
I guess he is really mad, she thought and looked away sadly.
What did you want to say?, He asked. She turned to him sharply.
Did he just say something?
I thought you wanted to say something, he scoffed.
Are you mad at me?, she asked calmly.
He looked at her and chuckled.
What makes you think I am?, did you do anything bad?, He asked.
Well you didn’t talk to me, she mumbled.
You didn’t talk to me either, he said. She rolled her eyes.
He never backs down in an argument, does he??
Just then his phone rang.
Mr Vozenilek?? Isn’t that his dad?
He picked the call but didn’t say anything, he just listened.
Then he mumbled okay and ended the call.
Why does it seem like the relationship between the two is tensed?
What did they even talk about?
I will be going over to my family house for dinner, Miles told her.
Now?, She asked without thinking. He didn’t reply her, he just turned the car around.
I shouldn’t have asked that, she mumbled.
Yeah now and you are coming with me, he said. She glared to him immediately.
What’s up with that look?, He asked.
Like this?, she asked. He looked at her.
What’s wrong with you now?, He asked.
Everything!!, And I am not ready yet, she replied.
Then you can stay in the car, I won’t stay long anyway, he said.

They got to the mansion about fifty minutes later, but then it was already 8pm.
The house was so………
Intact beauty was in understatement. It was three times bigger than Krystal’s mansion.
But then again she wasn’t surprised, he is an ex president after all.
I will be back soon, you can text me if you need anything, he told her.
She nodded.
The glass is tinted so if you don’t come out no one will see you, he added.
You should go already, I will be fine, she said.
He came out of the car and made his way to the house.
Dami watched him till he disappeared into the house.

The first person Miles saw when he came in was Kimberly, then Timothy. His parents were sitting opposite them.
My pride, Valentina called and spread her arms immediately. He smiled and went into her arms.
I missed you, she pouted.
I definitely talked to you this morning, he mumbled.
That isn’t enough, I want to see you everyday, she mumbled. He smiled and kissed her hand.
Then he greeted his dad and Timothy before going to his seat.
Kimberly waved at him happily.
He looked a Timothy.
Weirdly, he seem to know why they were there and it may not be good.
Miles has grown so big, I remember how you young you were years ago, it’s was just like yesterday but now you have really grown, you can even pregnant a woman, Timothy said.
Eww dad how can you say that openly, Kimberly said.
Is it something that will be hidden?, Soon he may get married and then start having babies, Timothy said.
Kimberly is also grown, I remember when she used to run around now she is looking really beautiful and mature, Valentina said.
Awwn thanks mum, I am blushing right now, Kimberly said.
She takes after her mum, of course she will be beautiful, Timothy said.
I know Yolanda will be happy wherever she is, her only daughter grew up so healthy, Valentina said smiling.
That’s right, Timothy chuckled.
Miles is a combination of you and dad, he took dad’s features and then your eyes, Kimberly said.
Valentina smiled and looked at Miles.
Did you hear that, you should be thankful I have you those sëxy eyes, She said and winked at him. Timothy and Kimberly laughed while Miles smiled.
Mr Vozenilek suddenly dropped his spoon and cleared his throat.
They all looked at him.
Miles, I am happy you were able to make it here today, he said.
Thanks dad, Miles mumbled.
He cleared his throat again.
Now to avoid beating around the bush, I want you and Kimberly to get married, he said.

You can hold your engagement next week and then next month you can get married and……….
He won’t do that, Valentina cut him off before he could finish his statement. Everyone turned to her immediately.
What are you trying to say?, Mr Vozenilek asked.
Are you even listening to yourself? What are we?? In the 16th century??, She asked
Valentina!!, He snapped.
You didn’t even tell me about anything of this, she snarled.
He is my son!! I will decide what’s right for him!!!, Mr Vozenilek roared.
He is also my son!!!!, I am his mother!!, I will also decide what’s right for him, she thundered.

Valentina it’s not what you think. The kids grew up together and are tight friends. This isn’t bad decision, Timothy said
I am not in support of that!!!, Valentina snapped.
Is my daughter unqualified to be your daughter in-law?, Timothy asked.
Miles can only get married to Kimberly if he loves her, same as Kimberly, she is like a daughter to me, Not an arranged marriage, Valentina said.
They can fall in love, it won’t take long, Timothy said.
What’s the use of love?, All that matters is that they match each other and should be together, the company will also merge and be stronger, Mr Vozenilek said.

Timothy stood up immediately.

Mum calm down, Miles said.
Did you ever forget her since you married me?? Did you ever love me for once??. It was always about her!!!!. Everything was about her!!!!, Valentina screamed.

What you are saying have nothing to do with this matter. Your son is not getting any younger, he needs a partner!!!, Mr Vozenilek snapped.
He already has a partner, he has a girlfriend, Valentina snapped.
Not that girl, I won’t let him be with that girl!!, They cannot be together Mr Vozenilek yelled
Valentina suddenly burst into laughter and held the table.
Why can’t they be together?, She asked.
Have you forgotten what happened with the elder sister, how can he date her younger sister!!, He snapped.
Isn’t that a lie?. Probably the reason why you don’t want them to be together is because you are scared Chelsea might be your daughter, Valentina blasted.

Mr Vozenilek eyes turned red and he tried hitting her but Miles pulled her away before he could touch her. He only glared at her and stormed off angrily.
Miles was in shock!!!!
He didn’t know what to say or do.
What did he just hear?? Chelsea is what???
Valentina pulled away from him and walked away too. He stood there for a while, he didn’t know how long he stood there but then he finally summoned courage and sluggishly left the house.
Dami was already asleep when he got to the car. It was already 11:25pm so she probably fell asleep while waiting.
His eyes went to her lips.
Did he really kiss his sister?????

Krystal stared at Jewel’s picture and smiled sadly.
Do you really blame me??. I didn’t mean for that to happen, I swear. It wasn’t for you, she said sniffing.
Just then her phone rang, it was an unknown number.
Could it be Fernando??
She wiped her tears immediately and picked the call.
Hey baby, the caller said.
Pablo!, She snapped
Wow seems like you know my voice, he grinned.
Why are you calling me, she snapped.
What? Did you think it’s Fernando?, He laughed.
She looked around immediately.
Did you put a camera here?, she asked
Who knows, he grinned.
Bastard!!, She spat.
You shouldn’t be calling me that. You know I wondered why Fernando left since nine years and never came back to see his surviving daughter, isn’t that heartless???
But then I thought of something. Maybe she isn’t his daughter after all, he said laughing.
Shut up!!, Krystal snarled.
Oops! did I guess I got you there?, he laughed
I may kill you when next we meet, I promise, Krystal screamed.
Relax baby. You have already killed me before remember?, You cannot kill a dead person, he grinned.
Get out of my phone, she screamed.
Jewel is alive, he said.
