CHAPTER 41 & 42
✧ YOU’RE IN TROUBLE ✧
Addison Sat on the floor beside the bed. Her legs propped up with her head buried in her palms crying silently.
Ash sat beside…he was looking really messy and was staring at nothing.
“I never knew you were suffering like this. Why didn’t you tell anyone?” Addison sniffs.
“Because I didn’t want this”
“You should have at least said something. Were you planning to keep it a secret forever? Then what??”
“I was planning to tell the guys but I couldn’t. Do you know what’s on the line if I do? The sixth album…I might not be able to perform it”
“Is that important now? More than your life??”
“Seems you don’t know but it does”
“Ash!”
“I can do it. My ear just have to be okay till the album. I just need it to be okay till then”
“No Ash…you can’t do this. We have to go to the hospital. You don’t even know the kind of illness you have? How can you just take any random pain reliever?? We shouldn’t ignore this. Let’s find out the type of illness it is so we can find a solution to it”
“I’m…I’m scared to know Addison. Wh@tëver it maybe…I know it won’t certainly be any good. I know it’ll be deadly”
“So you prefer being in the dark? Till it kills you”
“I can manage”
“I’m not doing this. I’m letting the guys know!” She stood up to leave but he held her back.
“No you can’t!!”
“Ash? Why is the album so important to you more than your own health! This is your life we’re talking about here!” She demanded.
“I…I’ll explain everything. But not now Newbie. I promise to tell you everything but please…for new pretend you know nothing” He beseech. Just then a knock came on the door.
“Ash! Are you in there?” It was Finn. Ash swallowed nothing and stood up facing her.
“Till the album please. Keep it a secret for me till then please. I promise to be fine. This is really important to me” He pleaded. Addison sighs.
“Get changed and come out”
“Thanks” He mutters. Addison gulps down nothing and just walked out of the room with heavy heart.
“What happened? Where is Ash?” Finn raised a brow.
“Finn…can we end the shoot? Ash is not feeling that good. I don’t think he can continue”
“What’s wrong with him?”
“It’s nothing serious. He’s already in bed. You can see him later.”
“Are you sure he’s alright?”
“Hmm…he is” She forced a smile.
THE NEXT DAY. ( PM’S OFFICE )
“I hope you all enjoyed your trip” PM beams at them.
“What’s with the sudden shooting?”Bin demanded.
“Come on it’s not sudden”
“We weren’t supposed to start this early PM” Finn said also.
“Well…I think we’ll have to rush things up for now due to some reasons. Aiden is there also. I don’t want us to prolong his debut. So you’ll be performing earlier than you expected” PM explains. Ash smiles secretly.
“So I want you guys to be fully prepared. Especially you Aiden…I hope you are done with the song. We have no time we have to choose now”
“Uhh…” She bit her lips.
“I’m dropping out” Bin announced.
“What?”
“The competition or wh@tëver. It was a childish thing to begin with. I’ll drop out but instead…I made a song”
He dipped his hand in his pocket and brought out a USB drive.
“That’s the song I made. He can sing this and if you don’t like it then no problem. Do wh@tëver you want with it” He added while Addison looks at him.
“As expected…” PM took the USB and insert it in his computer. In no time the song started playing.
They all listened attentively to it.
They all seems surprised at what they heard. PM paused the song and clapped.
“Wow Bin! I love this! As expected you never fail”
“You said the opposite the last time”
“Hey don’t mind me. You see personally I think you’re made just to compose. You’re a genius at that. Don’t be sad if you aren’t good in singing. Just do what you’re best at”
“And what do you call a singer who can’t even sing?”
“Don’t take me the wrong way..”
“What are you gonna do with the song?” He cut him off.
“This is gonna be for his debut”
“Then what about the album?” Ash asked.
“We’re using that song…the one Rush left”
“Ohh…” Ash mouthed.
“Then…do I not need to make that song again?” Addison asked slowly.
“No you will…cause you’re gonna need it. Aiden I want you to brace up. From now on it’s the battle of the fittest. You’ve got to be on your feet firmly cause it’s ain’t gonna be easy” PM told her.
“Yes…PM” She replied slowly.
“So that’s all you guys should go preparing. I want you to practice like never before. I’ve got a high hope on you” He smiles at them.
They all stood up.
“Then we’ll take our leaves now”
“Bin wait! Tomorrow you have to fly to Italy together with Viola. You’ve got a gig”
“Alright…”
“Don’t forget Viola would be practicing with you henceforth!” He said after them as they all trooped out.
“Finally…we’re getting there” He smiles.

“Hey Newbie!” Ash put his arms around her.
“You must be happy uh? You’re debuting soon” He ruffles his hair.
“Talk about yourself…you look really excited” She gave him a knowingly look and he smiles.
“Who wouldn’t be? Aren’t you?”
“Look at you acting like nothing is wrong? Are you really okay or you’re just pretending to?”
“I’ve always been like this. Don’t you know? I’m always happy no matter the situation”
“But Ash_”
“I think we’ve got to celebrate this” He turned back to Finn and Ash who were coming behind.
“Come to think of it. We haven’t given him a welcome celebration. We’re yet to celebrate him for joining the band”
“That isn’t necessary” Addison mutters.
“How about this evening? Let’s go out and celebrate it. Remember we’ll be too busy to do that from now on. What do you think Finn?”
“That isn’t a bad idea” He smiles.
“Bin?”
“Do wh@tëver you want” He said plainly walking over to his bike. Addison’s eyes followed him as he does. He’s acting strange again. She thought.
“Then tonight! Hooo I can’t wait!!” Ash squealed
“I’m gonna choose the place you guys just get ready” He whizzled to the van entering.
Addison’s eyes trace Bin as he drove out of the garage without speaking a word to any of them. She sighs.
“Come on…let’s go” Finn held her hand and together they got into the van also.
STARR BOYZ APARTMENT.
“Hey” Addison called Robin’s attention. He’s currently at the dining reading a book. He raised his head and saw her.
“What do you want?” He ask plainly.
“Can we talk?”
“Isn’t that what we are doing? Do you have something to say?” He asked closing the book.
“Umm…Yes thanks…for the song” She mutters and he nodded.
“Is that all?” He asked and she nodded also. Then he stood to take his leave.
“Wait!” She held his arm back.
“Is there more?”
“Um…are you okay?” She asked making him creased his brow.
“You seems to be annoyed” she added
“I’m not”
“Then…are we okay?”
“Weren’t we?”
“Exactly…I’m not sure”
“If you have nothing to say then I’m leaving”
“Bin are you mad at me or something?”
“Did you do something for me to be mad about?”
“I don’t think I did but…you’re acting kinda aloof and it kinda bothers me”
“Why does it bothers you? This is me. I don’t think it’s nothing new”
“But you_”
“Hey Newbie. We only have two weeks left for the album release. You heard what the PM said. Instead of playing around why don’t you try practicing for your debut at least. You flopping will be a disaster” He said to her. Addison was about saying something when she heard someone called her.
“Newbie” Finn called her and she turns back to him.
“Finn…” She called back
“Congratulations on your debut” He extend a small box to her.
“Isn’t that early? I haven’t even done anything”
“Nothing is too early for me. The earlier the better” He stepped closer and placed his lips gently on her forehead right in front of Bin.
She gasped a little at his sudden action. Bin looks away and turns leaving the place.
Finn finally withdrew after some seconds. He smiles down at her.
“Get ready…we’re going out soon” He stoke her hair then leaves. Addison looks at the box in her hand.
“What’s this?” She thought opening it.
“Wow…” She grinned bringing out a beautiful shinning necklace with the pendant ‘SM’ on it. She need no soothsayer to tell her what it is.
‘Soulmate’
“So pretty…” She muttered staring at the beautiful necklace.
KARAOKE.
“TO THE NEWEST MEMBER IN THE HOUSE CHEERS!” Ash raised his glass filled with beer up.
“CHEERS!!!” They all click their glasses.
Bin drops his after drinking a little while Finn and others had a gulp. He seems uninterested being there. He had actually refused to tag along but Ash persistence made him to. Like he promised, he was really gonna give them space and he has been doing that without any problem and that’s one of the reasons why he refuses to come with them at first.
“To congratulate you for joining the band you’ll have to take one glass of beer from us all” Ash said.
“What? That’s too much! I can’t!!”
“Come on don’t spoil the fun it’s just three glasses”
“You can do it” Finn gave her a reassuring smile. She sighs.
“Alright…bring it on!”
“Chug it down! Chug it down!! Down your throat! Chug! Chug!! Chug!!!” Ash encourages as she gulped down the second glass of beer with her eyes tightly shut.
Bin looks at her and scoffs.
“She must be asking for death” He muttered to himself.
“Wowww! You’re really great man! You finished the three glasses!” Ash gave him a slight punch on the shoulder.
“That was hell” She pants.
“Why don’t you sing to cool it down”
“Yeah sounds great!! It’s time for some MUSIC!!!” Ash yelled out loud excitedly dragging Addison up.
“Bring it on Man!!”
She took the mic and chose a song. ‘Golden love’ by Midnight Youth.
? We rest as one soul…just one last night here?
? Remembering what we gave up…this golden love ?
They all watch with keen interest as she sang.
She suddenly stretches her hand forward to Finn asking him to join her. There was no reason for him not to accept so he took her hand and joined her. Picking a mic too. He sang the next line.

Both sang together

They continue singing, smiling at each other and Bin snorted looking away. He would have drank but he has to perform the next day so he abstained from drinking.

Ash and Addison sang along crazily to Charlie Puth ~ Attention.
Finn watched smiles plastered all over his face while Bin just stare expressionlessly.
HOURS LATER.
Bin kept his arms folded with his eyes closed while Finn continues clapping and encouraging Addison who was singing rubbish on stage. However, he suddenly felt pressed. He turned over to Bin and tap him.
“What?” He asked dryly.
“Need to use the restroom…will be back” He said to him before standing up. Finn gave Addison one last glance before excusing himself.
Few minutes later, Bin looks at the two boozers. Ash sprawled on one of the couches hugging an alcoholic bottle to himself.
Addison on the other hand, was busy spouting nonsense in the mic. Bin shook his head and stood up. He went to Ash and tap him.
“Ash…wake up! Let’s go back now!” He kept tapping but Ash only groans positioning himself well on the couch. Seems he is already in the land of the drunk.
“He’s completely wasted” Bin muttered leaning back from him. His eyes roves to Addison and he releases another sigh.
“What an eye sight” He checked his time on his wrist watch and it was already eleven thirty. It’s pretty much late.
“Hey! Stop that now and let’s leave!” He said to her.
“I can’t believe believe this seriously!” He walked over to her, collect the mic and placed it somewhere.
“Nooo…I wanna sing moreee…give it to meeeee” She whined.
“Finn will take care of you when he comes back. Ash and I will leave first” He said walking away from her. Addison follows him.
“I don’t wanna gooo…I don’t want to…I don’t wanna gooo…” She began toppily funnily on her toes and that eventually made her stumbled but Bin was quick to grab her.
She looks at him, bringing her palms to her face, she began squeezing it almost tearing his skin off, giggling in a funny way at the same time.
“Hey!” He took her hand away and she pouted.
“Why is Finn not here yet…we really should go back now” He muttered trying to hold the staggering Addison firm. She suddenly bleached loudly making him scrunch his face.
“Hey!! You stinky blobfish!!” He quickly covered his nose but this action made her collapse, fortunately, she fell on him while he fell on the couch.
“Yeah…I’mma blobfish…Robin’s only blob fish” she chuckled in a silly manner.
“You aren’t cute at all right now”
“That’s not right…I’m cute. I’mma cute pretty lady” She made puppy face.
“Says who?”
“Says me!” She puffed earning a light chuckle from him.
“Robin…why do you keep doing that?” She suddenly asked.
“What do you mean?”
“One time we’re fine and the next second you will turn cold towards me. Just why do you keep doing that uh?” She leans closer pouting while he leans back.
“I never did that” He looks away.
“Fibber!! Yes you did! You ignored me all day and whenever I tried talking to you, you shunned me off! We were okay but suddenly you just changed. I can’t understand it at all…and I seriously h@të it…when you do that”
“It’s for your sake”
“How is it for my sake? You’re only playing with my feelings”
“You won’t understand”
“Then make me” She leans more close and he shifted back. Addison keep moving close to him as he moves back also.
“See…see you’re running away from me again. You don’t want me around that much?” She pouted sadly.
“Hey it’s ain’t like that. You just keep getting so close and_”
“I want to get close” She impeded him.
“Is that a crime?” She asked.
“What?”
“I said I want to be close to you. So let me” She climbed onto him surprising him.
“Hey! What are you doing!” He asked obviously shocked as she sat astride his torso.
“Why are you so surprise? This is not the first time we’ll be this close” She said innocently.
“That was…hey! This isn’t right…get off”He made to get her off but instead she move her face close to him placing both her hands on the chair trapping him.
“What are you…doing?”
“Why isn’t it right? When you did it, it was right but when I do it, it isn’t?” She questioned, her breathing fanning his. They locked eyes for some seconds, but Bin broke it first.
“Finn would be here soon…I don’t wanna create a misunderstanding” He said looking away. His tone changed also to a dull one. Addison held his jaw and turns his face back to her.
“I badly wanna do something. Something you probably don’t like” She muttered staring at his puckering lips due to his jaw she’s still holding.
“If I won’t like it…then don’t” He said and she took her eyes back to his.
“No…if I don’t…I’d probably go crazy Robin. I’m already going crazy as it is…I can’t hold it in any longer” She slowly released his jaw and her palm cup his face.
“Finn would be here any seconds, and I don’t want him to meet us in this position. Let’s stop this now” He sat right and was about pushing her off but before he could even do that, Addison caught him off guard by placing her lips on his. Immediately their lips met, his eyes went big and he literally sucked in his breath. That was unexpected
Her lips stayed like that on his without any movement. For a few seconds, his senses became blank and he couldn’t fathom anything. However, he didn’t reciprocate to the kiss, nor push her away He just stood still.
Addison’s started kissing him gently and slowly, this time he swallowed nothing only his eyes blinking.
Robin remains still as she suck on his lips, nibbling and licking it like it’s some sort of a candy.
Finn stood by the door watching them, his palms were already fisted tightly, veins spring out of his neck and his eyes was omitting fury. The way he was glaring at them, one could tell it wasn’t just about the anger he was feeling but also the pains. Slowly, he unballed his tightened fists, swivel on his heels and walked out of there. He removed his face cap not caring about being recognized. Walking at fast pace his eyes was so clouded with anger and hurt that he didn’t realize when he bumped hardly into someone. The person fell to the floor along with the bucket of water in her hand. She was actually a cleaner.
“Argh!!” The lady he bumped into groans hurting her elbow. Instead of saying sorry, Finn only glared at her before walking away.
“Excuse me! Excuse me Mister!!” She stood up to run after him but then her phone rang stopping her Checking the caller ID, her eyes widened when she saw it was the hospital.
“Hel…lo is my brother…okay?” She asked with shaky voice. It was rare for the hospital to call first. They don’t call except it’s an emergency and the fact that they called her this late at night freaks her out more than anything else.
“He’s_” She paused and gulped nervously.
“He’s okay right?” She asked again anticipating for one of the shocking news of her life and truly she got one.
“What?” She asked to be sure of what she heard.
“Brother is what? Brother is…” Her lips parted, trembling as well and her hand slowly went down from her ear.
“Brother…” She mumbled and in a jiffy, she dashed out of the Karaoke.
Addison unlocked from the kiss and her eyes met with Bin’s shocking face.
“Addison you_”
“Shh!” She placed her finger on his lips stopping him.
“Don’t tell Robin I kissed him…if he knows I’m gonna be in a big trouble” She whispers to him. Robin just stares shockingly. Her finger on his lips slowly wipe it and he blinked again.
“That was sweet” She lick her lips then let out a drowsy smile which followed by her heavy lids closing. Her head eventually landed on his chest and seconds later, her intermittent light snores echoed out slowly.
Robin took his eyes to her and stares for a long time then his lips curved.
“You’re really in trouble…blobfish” .
