CASSANO’S ROOM
Cassano lit his cigar, puffing from it. The door
opened revealing Emily who walked to him
“Do you like what you’re hearing? ” Emily ask,
her eyes not leaving his face but he wasn’t
looking at her
“Obviously, yes. His scream is melodious and it
cools my temper” Cassano replied with a smile
which didn’t reach his eye
“Don’t you think the punishment is too much?
Electrocuting him? Why giving him a slow death
when you can probably kill him at once if you
so much h@të to see him alive?” Emily said,
squatting beside him
“Because I like the pleasure. You should ask the
others about those who betrayed me.
Everyone’s life were in danger. What if he just
planted a bomb in the building? Everyone would
have died. Do you even know the pain I’m
feeling right now? Getting betrayed by people
whom I love the most? First it was Raven then
Vanessa and now him.” Cassano growl
“But at least…..”
“There’s no but. Rusty is lying almost lifeless in
the hospital and Jojo is going through a lot just
because of one person and you want me to take
it easy? Seriously?” Cassano huff and Emily
gulp down saliva
She didn’t know what else to say seeing the way
he talked
“Why do I even feel like you will end up
betraying me too?” Cassano utter and this time,
staring at her
“Wh…why will you think of a thing like this?”
Emily stutter
“Because my instinct never lie to me and the
people o love are always the one who betray
me. Back to our discussion about Tommy, you
should let me do things the way it pleases me
and not you….i h@të it”
“I….”
“No more words from you. Back to your training,
I’ll get back to you when I’m calm” Cassano
instructed coldly and Emily stood up, walking
out of the room

JOJO’S ROOM
Emily walked in but couldn’t find Jojo, instead,
she met Matilda leaning on the wall
“She’s not in here” Matilda said, still leaning on
the wall her hands crossed
Emily turned to leave but at the same time, Jojo
walked in
“At this rate, I’ll say that I’m being stalked” Jojo
murmur, walking past Emily to her bed. Her eyes
were red due to her cries. Well, she has been
crying even after she left the hospital
She laid straight, facing the window and Emily
went, sitting on the bed, beside her
“Call it wh@tëver but I’m not gonna leave you
alone” Matilda stated, still leaning on the wall
“Fine! Be my handbag then” Jojo replied simply
“Jojo, I…. “
“I’m alright Emily. Thanks for checking up on
me” Jojo replied, impeding Emily’s speech
“You’re not fine so cut that Sh|t and don’t
pretend” Emily replied
“Fine! How do you expect me to be fine?” Jojo
question, turning to face Emily
“I caused everything. I put Rusty in that state. If
he hadn’t come to safe me, he would have been
fine. Same with Mandy. If I had let her go that
night, she would not have died. I can’t just stop
feeling guilty about the whole thing” Jojo sob
and Emily hugged her
“I really feel sad about the whole thing too. I’m
sorry this is happening to you” Emily utter still
hugging her
“You should stop blaming your self. I h@të it”
Matilda spoke
“I just need an assurance that Rusty will be fine.
He isn’t even opening his eyes” Jojo said, still
sobbing
This time, Matilda went to her, hugging her
“You should calm down. I’ll get you something
to drink” Emily mumble. She stood up
“You shouldn’t let her go out of your sight” she
said, turning to Matilda who nod slowly and left
the room

ROOFTOP<>6PM
Lucas opened the third can wanting to drink
from it but Wayne grabbed it from him
“Give that back” Lucas murmur stretching his
hand to Wayne
He was dead drunk
“When will you stop this?” Wayne ask instead,
throwing the beer away
“Until I feel better”
“Really? What if you were the one who killed
her? You can’t blame yourself” Wayne scolded
“I should have done something. Apple died right
in front of me”
“You never even loved her” Wayne scoffed,
trying to hide his pain
“Yes, I never did but the fact that we had
something in common drives me crazy. I
couldn’t even get her bones. No befitting burial…
Nothing. I’m the worst buddy Wayne. I just feel
useless” Lucas utter and this time, he was
already crying
“I know how you feel. To be sincere, I’d really
know how much pain you’re going through”
Wayne replied, sitting beside Lucas
“I really wish this all these didn’t happen. I wish
Apple didn’t get out of the car, I wish I could
just…..” Lucas voice trailed off as he sobbed the
more, resting on Wayne’s shoulder
Cat stare at them from afar, she shook her head
sadly and walk away

RESTAURANT*
“Thank you” Emily smile, collecting her
packaged goods
She walked out of the restaurant to the road.
She went to get an energy drink for Jojo and It
was already quite late
“Cassano might be worried” she murmur,
tucking her hands into her hoodie to bring out
her phone only to see almost thirty missed calls
from him…. And even messages
This made her widen her eyes
“I should get ready to be scolded” she murmur,
dialling his number
At the other side of the road, Cisco stood by a
tree, monitoring Emily’s movement as she walk
“She’s getting close. Don’t loose her for anything
if you value your lives” he said over the phone,
ending the call abruptly
He got away from the tree, trailing Emily
“Calling you the last time, after this I’m not
calling again” Emily hissed after calling
Cassano for the seventh time
Immediately Cassano picked the call, a car
pulled over in front of her and when she wanted
to run, three men dressed in black appeared at
her back
They grabbed her and as she tried to struggle
with them she got injected which made her eyes
shut…close
They took her to the car, zooming out but
leaving behind her phone which fell on the
ground and the drinks she bought
