Desmond mansion
Desmond walked down from the stairs looking dashing as ever
“Desmond you haven’t told me anything. What’s the connection with Jasmine and sera? Michael asked walking up to him
” I have no idea, Let’s just wait and see” Desmond replied
“Wait, why aren’t you dressed?” Desmond asked. “I thought we were going together”
“Yeah…we are… Gimme few minutes” Michael replied, heading to his room and immediately the door bell rang
“Desmond who already knew it was Jenny went to get the door for her
“Good morning Des” Jenny greeted hugging him but he didn’t reciprocate the hug
“Congratulations on your wins” Jenny said and disengage from the hug
“You did well too” Desmond said and Michael appeared
“Hey Jenny, you did great yesterday” Michael complimented
“Wow, it seems the deities are on my side today. Imagine me getting a compliment from Michael” Jenny said sarcastically
“Let’s go else we’ll be late” Desmond said, walking out of the house and they followed
“She should be happy I’m complimenting her” Michael scoff
“Why didn’t you bring your car?” Michael asked, facing Jenny
“I didn’t want to drive,,, I felt lazy” Jenny said and was about entering the car when Michael block her way..
“Then I guess you won’t feel lazy trekking to school either” Michael said and Jenny scoff.
“Now I know why it felt strange when you complimented me earlier” Jenny rolled her eyes
“Get into the car now or you both trek to school” Desmond said and enter the car while Michael and Jenny kept glaring at each other

Desmond’s car came to a halt and they all alighted from the car. Jenny tried holding his hands but he quickly put them in his pant’s pocket as they walk into the school building.
Michael smiled on seeing the action
“Hey” Min-yung waved at Desmond
Desmond stood looking at him not saying a word.
“We meet again, I’m Min-yung, Kang min-Yung. Welcome to our school ” he said with a smile, immediately he got to them
” Thanks”
” Ileumi Meo eyo? (What’s your name?) Min-yung asked
” Desmond, Desmond Howard” Desmond replied
” Mannaseo bangowoyo ( Nice to meet you)”
” You too” Desmond said
“You’re pretty” Min-yung winked at Jenny and she smiled
” Anyways see you guys around” he smiled again before walking away
“Hey Desmond” Rachel called running to meet them
“See you in class, the director asked me to see her” Jenny said and left
Desmond stared briefly at Rachel and kept walking as if he didn’t see her
“Where are you going to?” Rachel asked blocking his way
“What says your time? It’s Nine already, We’ll be two minutes late if we keep standing here” Desmond said and Rachel quickly check her time and realized it was nine already
“Omg our first class starts by nine” she gasp
How come he got it correctly without looking at his wrist watch? She thought
“Wow” she exclaimed
“You’ll be late… hurry up if you don’t wanna get a penalty point on your first day” Desmond said and started walking away leaving her behind
“Who is he? He really is driving me crazy…I can’t help but fall for him” She thought dreamingly

“Today’s class was really boring” Jasmine said sitting on a bench in the school garden
“I second that” Sandra agreed
Where could Desmond be? I haven’t even seen him today.. She thought sadly
“Right here” Desmond replied from behind, scaring them
“Gosh, who’s that? You scared me” Sandra yelled before looking at the figure
“Desmond?” She exclaimed creating space for him to seat
“Thanks” Desmond replied sitting close to jasmine
“How did you even get here? Cus I believe I didn’t hear your footsteps” Sandra said
“Let’s say I appeared” Desmond said and the girls laughed
I don’t why I suddenly feel happy staying around him.. jasmine thought stealing glances at Desmond and he chuckled
Gosh.. jasmine what’s wrong with you? Jasmine thought and smack her head
Desmond’s smiles where like the scent of fragrance she couldn’t get enough of
How I wish Sandra could go get us food so I can stay with him for a while.. jasmine thought again
Desmond chuckled again and granted her wish
“I’ll be back, I want to go get us something to eat” Sandra suddenly said and walk away leaving Jasmine dumbfounded
The deities too support our relationship? Gosh, I can’t wait to be his girlfriend.. she thought smiling broadly
“So tell me.. what’s your favorite color?” Desmond asked, sitting impossibly close to her
“Blue” she replied moving away from him but he kept coming closer
That’s Sera favorite color too.. he thought
“And your hobby?” He asked looking directly into her eyes
Jasmine gulp down a lump in throat as she felt Desmond’s breath on her face
“Music” she replied blinking rapidly and her heart beating like crazy
“Your favorite food?” Desmond asked, staring at her lips
“French fries with assorted beef or fried kitchen” Jasmine replied awkwardly
I see.. maybe her taste of food changed.. Desmond thought
“I want to know who you are, I want to know why I got those sparks when I held you last night” Desmond whispered, lifting her chin up with his hands
“What do you m… Her remaining words got stuck in her throat when Desmond lips met hers.. at first she wanted to push him off but she got lost in the kiss and stared giving in without realizing it. She didn’t know the reason for the sudden urge to kiss him back.
They kissed, forgetting they were still in school
Sera.. you came back to me after all this while” Desmond thought as he deepened the kiss and jasmine also gave in
Desmond!!! They heard a familiar voice and they both broke the kiss and face her..
“Jenny! Desmond called but she ran off.
Don’t worry Sera, I will talk to her.. Desmond said and left too
Rachel balled her fist angrily from where she was watching
“He kissed her, he kissed that lowlife” she ranted
“I’ll make sure she pays for it, Desmond should be mine” She said angrily before stumping out of the garden
“Sera?” Jasmine asked herself and immediately Sandra came back with some sandwiches
“Hey, where is Desmond?” She asked sitting..
“Wait, why are your lips suddenly pink?” Sandra asked again
“I have pink lips naturally” Jasmine replied awkwardly
“I know, but it’s more pink and swollen” Sandra said touching jasmine’s lips
“Stop that” Jasmine said hitting Sandra’s hand lightly
“Tell me the truth, did Desmond kiss you?” Sandra asked and jasmine nodded shyly
“OMG.. his lips must have tasted so good” Sandra shouted and Jasmine smacked her head lightly
“Wait, that was your first kiss and you gave it out when he isn’t your boyfriend?”
“I dunno.. when he kissed me, I was conscious. I wanted to push him off but before I could even think of doing it, I had already given in” Jasmine replied
Sandra stared at her again before smiling.
“Maybe you two are a match made from heaven. You two will date soon” Sandra said
“You think?” Jasmine asked.
“I know so” Sandra replied handing jasmine her own sandwich.
“Thanks” Jasmine collected the sandwich and licked her lips briefly before eating
‘I can’t believe you’re in love” Sandra said and she giggled

“Jenny” Desmond called and held her by the wrist
“What’s wrong? Why the tears?” Desmond asked and Jenny tried hard not to cry.
“Nothing” Jenny said and made to leave when Desmond pull her into a hug
“This was the reason I never wanted you to love me. Jasmine is the girl I’ve been looking for.. I’m sorry Jenny” Desmond said and she immediately release the tears she was holding back
“Gosh.. my ears are gonna burst” Desmond tease but she kept crying even more
“It’s okay, I’m sorry for giving you the wrong impression and making you fall for me. It’s my fault and I’m sorry” Desmond said disengaging from the hug
“You can keep coming over to the house, I won’t stop you” Desmond said
“It’s fine. What was I expecting? You already told me you had someone in mind. The only thing I regret now is letting you come here” she said sadly
“I love you Jenny… but as a friend. I was confused about my feelings and misled you. I’m sorry for that” Desmond said before walking out of Jenny’s sight.
She squatted and buried her head between her legs and cried loudly.

Mule, one of the AVOL members walked up to Lord Stone and bow
“Is there anything strange happening on earth?” Lord Stone asked
“Desmond hasn’t show up ever since the day Albert escort Sera, has he found her?”
“Yes my Lord.. Desmond finally found his mate”
“That’s a relief. Is that all?” Lord Stone asked
“I couldn’t read all his thoughts. It seems he blocked his thoughts ” Mule replied
“No wonder I haven’t been able to hear him lately.. I wonder what he’s upto” Lord Stone said
“Just keep an eye on him. You better be careful so he won’t find out. He might kill you if he discovers you are intruding his privacy” Lord Stone said and Mule nodded.
” You’re dismissed” he said and Mule bow again before disappearing
