On seeing this, lord stone walk to him and touch him and he( Albert) became whole again
“You may all be seated” lord stone said and everyone obeyed except Desmond who didn’t budge
He was starting to find the meeting boring and that’s all thanks to Albert for ruining his mood
“Desmond!! Lord stone growl and for the first time Desmond was frightened
“Yes my Lord” he stuttered slightly. it’s the first time in 1000yrs lord stone would shout at him in such manner.
“Sit” Lord Stone commanded and he sat down reluctantly
“I guess y’all know why you’re been summoned?” Lord stone asked and majority of them nodded
“You’ll know Desmond is in charge of granting wishes but I couldn’t let him do it alone this time, that is why you were all summoned. We have to grant Lucy’s wish of having a child” he continued
“And i have chosen the soul that will be given to Lucy as a daughter”
“Why is her wish even that important? Wishing for a child is very normal” Michael said
“Ohh Michael, I forgot you haven’t been given the ability to listen to wishes yet.. nevertheless, you will come to know about it with time” Lord Stone said
“Alright my Lord” Michael bow
“Albert” Lord stone called
“Yes my Lord” he answered with a bow
“Go get the girl”
“Yes my Lord… He replied and left immediately
Few minutes later he came with a beautiful female soul
“Here she is” Albert said with a bow
Desmond who was oblivious of what was going on, suddenly looked up and his eyes widdened and his mouth dropped in shock.
Desmond couldn’t believe his eyes after seeing the figure Infront of him
Slowly and steadily he took long stride to her
“I have waited for you too long..what took you so long?” Desmond asked as he walked towards Sera’s soul. Tears had already gathered in his eyes but he kept blinking them off
“Desmond” She exclaimed immediately she sighted him and ran into his arms..
For a second Desmond wish they could be like that for eternity
“What took you so long?” Desmond asked disengaging from the hug
She looked up at him and sigh …
“I thought I wouldn’t be given the chance to come to earth again ” … She sigh
nevertheless I’m happy I got to see you again” She added as tears flowed down her cheek
Albert had a mischievous smile on his face as he watch them professing their love to each other
“Now I think I know what to do”he said and smirk evily.
“I will find you again Sera, I promise I will wait for you millions of times” Desmond smiled
Micheal on the other hand was shocked; that was the first time he saw Desmond smile
“Now I know how much she meant to him…no wonder he was always grumpy” Michael said smiling broadly
Some of the members who witness the scene were happy and sad at the same time because Sera is his savior and his doom….
“I just hope they live well” Adion another immortal said
“Sera will be going to earth as someone else child” lord stone said looking at Desmond
“Take your sit, because you are not the one escorting her” Lord stone added
“What? Why? But she’s going back to earth because she promised to be reborn. I should be the one escorting her so I make sure she lands safely… Desmond protested
Lord stone was silent for a while as he thought about Desmond’s request
“Albert will do so” Lord stone said standing from where he sat
“That’s my decision” he added and face Albert
“Take the girl away” he said and disappeared from the meeting
Desmond was speechless as he watch Albert take her away. He wasn’t the type to beg but yet he had no choice this time.
“Albert pls wait” Desmond said politely to Albert who was ready to escort sera home
“What do you want?” He asked rudely
“Can i…. Desmond cut himself off because he knew he will be asking for the impossible.
“I know you won’t let me but pls for once can I touch her before she goes?” Desmond said calmly
“How lovely of you… Who would ever thought the great Desmond would be this calm” Albert mocked. “Well…I give you just 30seconds to do what you want” Albert added and immediately Desmond ran towards sera and place his lips on hers, kissing her lightly
“I promise to find you” was the only thing he could say before Albert forcefully pull Sera away from him and disappeared from everyone’s sight..
Michael ran towards Desmond and bow…
“I think we should go now. Lets wait for her on earth” Michael said
Desmond looked at him for a while then smiled…
“let’s do that” Desmond replied and that alone made Michael happy – seeing Desmond smile for a second time
The smile vanish from Desmond’s face as he walked towards the other immortals with a straight face
“This will be the end of the meeting” he said and immediately disappeared with Michael…

“Where are you taking me? This doesn’t look like earth, so where are you taking me?” Sera asked looking around the place which looked just like space where stones and things floaded.
“You will know when we get there” Albert replied with an evil smile
“Help!! Someone help me!!” She cried
“You’re too loud moreover no one will hear you lass….all what you are going through is because of that bastard” Albert cursed under his breath
“He was once a mere spirit like you and was supposed to become human like you too but what happened?.. Lord stone was interested in him for a reason I don’t know and out of the blues he became a god.. as if that wasn’t enough, he was giving more power to grant wish” Albert ranted
Sera was completely dumbfounded by the news…. Desmond was once a human spirit too? She wondered
“Does it means he was supposed to be born?Then how did he become an immortal? She asked. “can’t I also become an immortal and stay by his side? She asked again but got no reply from Albert
“All you need to do is kill the immortality in him” Albert said
“What?” Sera exclaimed
“Yes, and thats the main reason you are going to earth” Albert stated while Sera gape at him in shock
“Kill? Why…why would I kill Desmond?” She stuttered
“That’s your destiny” he replied
“Then I refuse to be reborn” she snapped hotly
“See young lady, I’m not asking you, I’m telling you. Moreover, you have no say in this, your opinion isn’t needed” he retorted
Albert stopped and looked at Sera….
“I promise you, i will make his life a living hell..
He stole what belongs to me, you both will have to suffer for it” Albert laughed evilly
“Desmond pushed me this far” he added
“Someone help me” she shouted
“Like I said no one’s helping you, Even lord stone can’t connect with me here neither can he hear my thoughts nor yours” Albert smirk
“Let me go ” she kept shouting as he began pulling her into a big dark building
“Where are we?” Sera’s asked looking around the house as fear grip her. Suddenly the dark house was filled with light, making everywhere sparkle
“Wow… it’s a beautiful place” Sera said senselessly as she admired the house
“Albert, Albert! Albert!! Its been a while I saw you… Are things going as planned? A voice echoed round the room
“Yes my Lord” Albert replied while Sera kept looking around hoping to see the person talking when suddenly a man appeared from no where making her flinch slightly
“Here is the girl” He said pushing Sera towards Lord Kono
Lord kono was once a member of the AVOL TERRITORY ( the immortal realm) but for some reason he was cast out and he decided to take revenge with the help of Albert.
“Here is Desmond’s mate, and I want a favor from you in return” Albert said with hatred and anger filled in his voice
And that was exactly what Kono wanted– someone as evil as him
Lord Kono laugh evily but briefly ….
“What do you want?”
“I want Desmond to find it difficult in finding Sera or better still he doesn’t find her at all” Albert said
Lord Kono furrowed his brow as he stared at the desperate Albert
“What do you want me to do?” Lord Kono asked looking at Albert curiously
“Like I said, I want him to find it difficult finding her, at least it will buy us time to attack as you’ve always wanted” Albert replied
“Why? Why are you doing this to me? Why are you doing this to Desmond?” Sera yelled but no one was listening to her
Lord Kono laugh again as he watch Albert, this time his voice was echoing round the room
“So? What do you want me to do?”
Albert smirk then took long stride towards lord Kono, whispering some inaudible words into his ears
Lord Kono smiled widely.
“that’s a perfect plan…I know what to do” he said and they both laugh evily

“You can now escort her safely” Kono said
“Thank you my Lord” Albert said with a bow then disappeared with Sera’s soul
