Las Vegas (11pm)
“Welcome baby” Melissa hugged her immediately she got into the house
“How was the competition?” She asked
“It was fine,,,, winner as usual” Nirvana shrug
” My daughter keep making me proud” Melissa gushed happily, still hugging Nirvana tightly
“Where’s Aliya” Melissa asked
“She went home already”
“Right, mom,,,,,, I saw someone who looked exactly like me in Korea” Nirvana said and she felt her Mom becoming stiff on her shoulders
“Mom what’s wrong?”
“What did you just say?” Melissa disengage from the hug with fear written all over her face
“I asked what was wrong?”
“No, before that”
” I said I saw someone who looked like me in Korea” she repeated and Melissa staggered lightly
“She looked exactly like me. I guess we’re almost of the same age and….
“Stop, why didn’t tell me the competition was in Korea” Melissa yelled and she flinch back slightly
“Mom, what’s the matter? It’s no big deal”
“It’s a coincidence, don’t think much about it” Melissa replied, trying to calm her nerves
” But mom…
“I said STOP” Melissa thundered and stump into her bedroom angrily
“Why’s she getting worked up over little matters?” Nirvana sigh and left for her room too

*McAdams’s mansion*
“Annyeong appa ( Hi dad) Jasmine greeted entering the house
” Jal jinesseoyo Ttal ( how are you daughter) Gabriel replied hugging her
“Jeoneun jal jinaeyo ( I’m fine thanks) she flash him a smile
” Dad, I saw someone with my face today at school and she was from Las Vegas” Jasmine said disengaging from the hug
” You must have seen it wrong” Gabriel assured
” But dad I…
“I said you must have seen it wrong” Gabriel snapped and walk away leaving her perplexed
“What’s wrong with dad? Why’s he getting angry?” She sigh
That was the first time in 20 yrs she saw her dad really pissed off

♠Las Vegas, same day♠
Few minutes later
“Mom?, Mom?” Nirvana called entering her parents bedroom but her Mom wasn’t in
Clothes were scattered roughly on the bed and the wardrobe was wide open
“This place is a mess, where could she have gone to?” Nirvana asked no one in particular as she started arranging the clothes
She was done minutes later and was about leaving when her eyes caught a pile of docvments roughly scattered on the Table
“Gosh, mom’s so careless” she muttered and went for the papers
She started arranging them too when a card fell from it
“An ID card? I’ve never seen mom or dad with this” She wondered and picked it up
She stared at the card with her and her eyes widdened and she stump out of the room with the card in her hand
She met her mom and dad just walking in
“Mom who’s Kim ha-ri?” She asked and mom’s eyes widdened
” She… she’s no one” Melissa stuttered
” Then why is your face on this ID and why is the person bearing Kim ha-ri?” Nirvana shouted and her mom staggered
Maxwell quickly held his wife in place
“It turns out you’re Korean after all” she yelled, her eyes becoming red

” Was that why you got angry when I asked you why I saw another me in Korea?” She yelled again
” Nirvana, don’t shout at your mom” Maxwell cautioned
” Who am I exactly?” She asked
“You’re Nirvana Luther, our daughter” Maxwell replied
” Really?” She sn!gg@ed. “Then why is there two identical babies in this picture” she asked showing them a picture with her
It was a picture of Maxwell and Melissa carrying two babies
“Where did you get that…
“I need you both to tell me the truth right now” Nirvana cut her dad off with tears trickling down her cheeks
“I’m not a twin right? Its a lie right? The girl that looked like me back there in Korea isn’t related to me right?” She asked walking close to her mom
“Vana, what are you saying?” Melissa asked gently
” Stop pretending” Nirva yelled and fear grip Melissa
That was the first time her daughter would ever raise her voice at her
“Dad, if mom isn’t saying anything, then you should tell me” she faced her dad
“Baby, it was a long trip. Why don’t we postpone this till the morning?” Maxwell said, trying to touch her but she moved back
“Since you guys don’t wanna say anything, then stay away from me…. All of you” she said as tears rushed down her cheeks and ran to her room locking the door from inside
She buried her head in her pillow and started wailing loudly. Aliya’s call came in but she couldn’t pick up. She wasn’t in the mood for anything at that moment. Her phone stopped ringing and started ringing back almost immediately.
She got angry and threw the phone across the room, breaking it
“You’ll should leave me alone” she muttered amidst tears
★Two days later★
“Nirvana hasn’t eaten anything nor left her room for two days now and I’m worried” Melissa panicked
“Then We have no choice than to tell her the truth” Maxwell said sadly
” No, we can’t!! I don’t want her to be taken away from me. I might as well just die Maxwell, I might die!!” She sobbed
“I’m also not happy about it but we have to tell her the truth if we want her to leave that room” Maxwell consoled his wife
“What Truth? That she’s likely to be a twin?” Aliya asked from the door
“You’re here” Melissa said, wiping her tears
“Yeah, I wanted to come two days ago when Nirva didn’t pick my calls but I caught the flu and wasn’t feeling so good that’s why I decided to come today” Aliya replied
“Mom , dad, is Nirva a twin by chance, because we saw a girl who looked exactly like her during the competition” Aliya said
Melissa turn to look at her husband who nodded at her, assuring her it was alright
“It’s a long story” she sigh and Aliya narrowed her brow
“So it’s possible she’s a twin?” Aliya asked and Melissa sigh again before nodding
” Are you guys even my real parents?” Nirvana asked from the stairs and All of them turn to look at her
