Chapter 35
“How dare you just kiss me without my consent” she wanted to sound angry but her voice failed her and Desmond chuckled Secretly
I’ve finally found you.. he said in his head as he watch her stump out of class
“Nirvana..is something wrong?” Michael grabbed her hand
“No..nothing ” she stuttered, releasing her hand from his grip before walking away
“What happened? Did you succeed?” Michael asked walking back into the studio
“She’s the real Sera,,,, Jasmine is her shadow” Desmond replied
” Why are you so sure”
“You remember I told you I kissed Jasmine the other day at the school garden right? He asked and Michael nodded
“I saw nothing about her past except that she had Sera’s face, no other memory but Nirvana’s was different,,,,, I saw her past life” Desmond sigh
” Wow but how will you tell her that? I mean Jasmine” Michael asked
” I have no idea, Gosh,,,, it’s confusing” he replied. ” It might create emity between the two girls”
“How do I dance to the beat Kono and Albert are playing?” Desmond sigh loudly
“You don’t have to worry.. you’re more powerful than Albert. So this shouldn’t bother you”
Desmond sigh again
“Let’s go” he said and Michael followed behind

“Nirva, where have you been?” Jasmine asked.
“In class.. I told you I was going to make a video chat Liya” She forced a smile
“Ah, that’s true”
“Where’s Sandra?” Nirvana asked.
“She went home. She told me her dad called and would be traveling out of the country this weekend”
“Ah.. I see, then we should get going” Nirvana said and she nodded
Jasmine used her eyes to survey the school to see if she could get a glimpse of Desmond but she didn’t
“Looking for Desmond?” Nirvana chipped in as they walk to the parking lot
“No, I wasn’t” she denied quickly
Nirvana heaved a sigh
“I’m gonna ask you this again.. you like Desmond, don’t you?” She asked
“No I don’t, he’s just a friend” Jasmine replied
“Alright then, if you say so” Nirvana shrug and made to enter the car when she heard her name
“Desmond?” Jasmine exclaimed excitingly
“Hey Jasmine” he waved and she smiled
“Can I talk to you for a moment?” He faced Nirvana and Jasmine felt jealous at once
“What is it you wanna tell me? Say it right here” Nirvana said and was about folding her hands when he grabbed her hand before she could fold them
“Jasmine, I need few minutes with your sister pls” Desmond said holding Nirvana’s hands more firmly
Jasmine’s eyes stayed glued on their interlocked hands and she let out a tight smile
“Alright” she said and entered the car
“What do you wanna tell me?” Nirvana asked, yanking his hands off hers
“That you’re still very beautiful” he said and she felt her cheeks becoming red
Get back to your senses… She scold herself mentally and slapped her cheeks as if to stop herself from blushing
She cleared her throat
“Are you seriously flirting with me right now?” She asked, her hands at akimbo and he smiled
” You don’t have to worry about the kiss earlier. You’ll understand why I had to do it”
” Yeah right, you said you wanted to confirm something earlier,,, what was it?”
” If you had closed your eyes in the process,you would have known about yourself” he smile
” Wow…. who’s this psycho? Are you saying I don’t know who I am?” she scoff loudly
“Anyway, I will wait until you’re ready to be my girlfriend” he said and she choked on her saliva
“Girlfriend?? I didn’t know they had mentally deranged people here in Korea too” she said, staring at him strangely
What he did next took her by surprise
He pulled her into an unexpected hug. ” See you tomorrow” he whispered into her ears and she stood still not moving
Why am vulnerable right now… She thought and quickly push him away
“Stay away from me” She said and went back to meet Jasmine in the car

★McAdams mansion★
“I’m d@mn tired” Nirvana groan, slumping on a couch
“Do you like Desmond?” Jasmine asked dropping her backpack
“I don’t know.. he kissed me earlier at the studio” Nirvana said and Jasmine balled her fist, feeling somehow
“What’s wrong? I thought you said you don’t like him?”
“Yeah, I don’t” Jasmine smiled trying to hide her anger
“But it seems I like him. Not sure though..” Nirvana smiled
” Anyway, I’ll be in my room” She added and with that she left for her room
“Gosh” Jasmine muttered lowly as tears threatened to fall from her eyes.
“Desmond loves me,,, … We kissed. He can’t leave me, he can’t ” she assured herself and also left for her room

★Desmond mansion★
“So what are you going to do with jasmine?” Michael asked
“I will tell her the truth” Desmond said
“That she’s Nirvana’s lost shadow?”
“Yeah…. Desmond replied sitting beside him
“Then what will happen to Jasmine?” Michael asked
” The shadow would try entering it’s real body numerous times”
” Will Jasmine die?” Michael asked again with widdened
” No… They can leave together as they do now but….
“But what?”
“One of them will have to die if the other becomes greedy” Desmond sigh
“Hmm .. I hope everything works out well” Michael heaved a sigh
“I like Jasmine’s meekness and Nirvana,,,, she’s crazy but fun to be with” he added
“I will be in my room” Desmond said, walking upstairs

2weeks later
Kono territory
“What should we do with Lucy’s spirit?” Albert asked Kono
“Send her into Jasmine’s dream…. She’s already sowing a seed of hatred for her sister” Kono said
“Alright, I think I Know what to do” Albert smiled and left

★ McAdams mansion, the witching hour (1am)★
She suddenly found herself in a dark room with a candle as the only source of life that gave the room a little glimmer of light
“Jasmine” she heard her name
She felt a presence behind her and turn to look at whoever it was
“Who are you?” She asked looking at the woman intensely
“Mom?” Her eyes widdened and she quickly ran into her arms
“I don’t have much time sweetheart” Lucy stroke her hair
“Mom” she cried
“Listen to me sweetheart,,, I came to warn you. You sister has plans of killing you”
“No, she can’t do such a thing” she shook her head
“Desmond is going to tell her you’re her shadow and you’ll have to die so she can get her shadow back”
“Mom, what do you mean? Nirva has been a cool sister even though she likes thesame guy I like, that’s just the reason i feel like I was betrayed but I wasn’t. I kept denying my feelings”
“Listen Jasmine, Don’t you see she has no shadow?” Lucy asked and she nodded slowly
” She killed me Jasmine and She will soon try to kill you too” she said and Jasmine shook her head in denial not wanting to believe
“In few weeks time, on your 21st birthday,,,, you will see what am trying to say. You will feel excruciating pain which would be more painful than dead and it’ll feel like your spirit was gonna leave your body…. But there’s one thing you will need to do….
Kill her if you wanna stay alive” Lucy said and disappeared
” Mom, wait..”
“Mom!!!!” She screamed back into reality, panting heavily
Nirvana and Gabriel quickly ran to her room when they heard her scream
“What’s wrong? Nirvana pulled her into a hug.
“It’s fine now” she added stroking her hair softly
Her dream immediately flash through her mind and she push Nirvana away from herself
“What’s wrong?” Nirvana asked, confused
“Go away” She threw her pillow at her
“Stay away from me, you murderer” Jasmine yelled
” Murderer?” She asked, confusing written all over her face
” You witch, you killed mom. You’re evil, that’s why mom had to die giving birth to you” Jasmine snapped and Nirvana staggered
“Jasmine how can you say such a thing to your sister?” Gabriel asked
Jasmine buried head between her knees and cried heavily
“Go away, Stay away from me…. all of you, I don’t wanna see you…
