(Gabriel’s home)
“Morning dad” Jasmine greeted
“Did you hear from Nirva?” He asked
“Yeah.. she was in school yesterday.. I totally forgot to tell you”
“Dad, I won’t be coming home tonight.. she added
“Where are you going to?”
“I was invited to the blue house”
“Really? What about your sister?” Gabriel asked
” She was invited too”.. she replied. “Dad stop worrying about Nirvana, she can take care of her self,, she’s not a kid” Jasmine said walking back to her room
★Blue house★
“Good morning dad” Rachel greeted
“Morning darling” Andrew replied. “How is the preparation going?”
” Fine,,, And I want to thank you for the effort” Rachel said
“What effort?” He asked
“Have you forgotten? You told everyone it’s your birthday when it’s actually mine”
” How is that an effort?” He asked
” The thing is, they wouldn’t have come if I had told them it was my birthday, especially Nirvana”
“You’re so funny.. anyways, happy birthday baby” her dad said and she blushed
“Thanks Dad.. you are the best” she said and hugged him when his phone rang
“I need to pick this.. he said and walked few meters away from her
I hope he isn’t going on an urgent meeting? Rachel thought
“Rachel.. I’m sorry I won’t be attending your party.. something…
“Urgent came up” she completed
“I’m sorry honey” Andrew said and kissed her on the forehead
“It’s fine, I’m use to having parties without you anyway” she walk away and her dad sigh.
★Desmond apartment★
“I think it’s high time you know about yourself” Desmond spoke up
“That I might be 600yrs old?”Nirvana tease, drinking from a glass
“Not that but you need to believe him. What he said about our age is true” Desmond said and she stared at him weirdly
“What do you mean by believe him?” She asked to be sure she didn’t misheard
“That am not human” he replied and the glass Nirvana fell off her hands but didn’t touch the floor
“What is this?” She screamed and stood on the couch after seeing how the glass cup was floating
“I told you.. didn’t I” Michael said and took the cup before placing it on the table.
“This is one of your tricks right? You want to get me scared right? But Just know it doesnt work on me. Magician can also do this” she rushed her words
“I only believe you can read minds, cus I’ve watched movies so it’s possible” she added
” Then you wanna see something else? Michael asked.
“There’s nothing you show me that will make me believe that Sh|t”
“What if I show you something interesting? Desmond said and she sat down
“Okay? Anything is fine but no trick”
“Close your eyes and free your mind” he said and she did
“What are you doing?” Michael asked in his mind
“To show her she is Sera”
“I will be in my room and Nirva.. if you need me, call me” Michael said and left
“Is your mind free?” Desmond asked and she nodded.
“Alright then” he said and placed his lips on hers
**1020yrs ago**
“How did you get into my house little girl?” Desmond asked staring at the 10 year old girl Infront of him
“I don’t know, how did I get here?” She asked back
“Are you asking me that?” Desmond furrowed a brow while staring down at the little bold girl
“I ran away from my mom… She doesn’t allow me play, so I have no Friend at all.. I just sit at home read books, eat and do nothing. I was bored and I decided to leave the house but mom found out and sent the guards after me so that’s how I ran till I found myself here”
“And you think here is your hiding place? Go away I h@të pests” Desmond said sternly
” No!!! She folded her tiny hands.. “is this where you live? It’s beautiful though” she said looking around
” Look here little girl.. you are not supposed to be here. Now leave” he growl and the wall shook greatly
“Daebak {awesome}.. how did you do that? And I’m going no where.. she said and sat down
“Who are you?” Desmond asked.
“That was supposed to be the first question you ask dummy” she said
“Dummy??!! Wow… Look here little human I…
“Never mind, there’s nothing to look on your face and again, you don’t look so humanly…are you dead? Your face looks pale. Or you’re a spirit being?” she cut him off. “I will leave but will be coming back tomorrow”
“Spirit? And who told you you will be able to get here tomorrow? Desmond asked
“I knew you weren’t human the moment I got here and guess what…. I like spirit beings.. so I like you and want to marry you.. she said and Desmond gave her strange looks
“I won’t get mad at you because I like you. anyway, I am seraphine but you can just call me Sera” she added and ran away
“Who is she?” Desmond wondered

“You still look handsome back then” Nirvana disengage from the kiss
“That’s not all”
“There’s more? She asked “who is that little girl and why does she look like me when I was a child? And why am I even seeing all this stuffs?” She asked
“That’s because you are the little girl but your adult face was changed”
“Okay, let’s say I was the little girl. Why don’t I remember seeing you when I was little”
“That’s because what you saw is your past life” Desmond explained and she burst into laughter
“Is that some of the trick?”
“You just have to see everything that happened” Desmond said and he kissed her again
{Years later}
“I wanna spend the rest of my life with you” sera said
“I will always love just you”
“But I will get old and die while you will still be here.. what will you do then?”
“I will wait for you until you are reborn” Desmond replied
“I do read books, I heard it’s impossible for a human and a spirit to be together,,,, I don’t wanna loose you” Sera said
“I will do anything to make it possible”
“I’ll be on my way now..my old man would have been looking for me” sera said and hugged Desmond
“I’ll miss you” she added disengaging from the hug
“I will always wait for you” Desmond said as he watch her leave
Days passed but she didn’t show up and Desmond became worried
“Is everything alright with her?” He thought
“I need to find her” he said and tried using his power to trace her and luckily it worked
He landed in her room when he was sure no one was there but he met her covered in her own blood with a dagger piercing her chest
“The soul dagger?” He exclaimed and ran to her
“Seraphine Who did this to you?” He asked, tears trickling down her cheek
“Ko..Kono” she manage to say..
“Why? Why did he do this to you?” He cried
“He said it’s my destiny to kill you because we cheated fate by falling for each other. But it’s a good thing I didn’t do it” She smiled weakly
“How can you smile in this situation?” He yelled tearfully
“I told you I was gonna do something about our fate, why didn’t you believe me?” he yelled and she cough out blood
“Gosh, learn to tame your anger.. it’s scaring me” she tease
“You still have time for jokes? Don’t worry I will take you to stone.. he’ll help you” he said and carried her in a bridal style before disappearing to the immortal realm
