Next Morning**
“And that’s how we make ice cream! Science!!” Mr Mark concluded and removed his goggles.
“Wow!!!” The class clapped for him.
Kadence actually wasn’t following up with the class. She was busy thinking about the man in her dreams, about Eric’s weird attitude, about Liam.
“F*vk!!!” She exclaimed in frustration.
Right now, she just wishes she never wrote the test to be a student of this school. Maybe it’s about all these tribulations that Ximena warned her about.
“Sir, can I excuse myself? I’m not feeling too well” Kadence said.
“Yeah, I noticed it. Go to the infirmary and take some aspirin” Mr Mark said.
She nodded with a smile and walked out of the class. Zara glared at her till she was out.
“Is she the sister you said you have?” Nancy whispered to her.
“Yeah” Zara replied.
“She’s kinda pretty” Maya said
Zara rolled her eyes and looked at Eric. He already stood up.
“Sir, can I use the restroom?” Eric asked.
“Sure, go on” He replied.
Eric nodded and walked away. Zara hissed..
“Must he always be obsessed with Kadence?” She thought.
Kadence sat down on a bench at the rooftop, the wind blew on her face and she smiled. Maybe that’s what she really needed.
Eric made to walk pass but stopped when he saw her there. He slowly walked in…
“Kadence?” He called.
Kadence turned and faced him then furrowed her brows.
“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in class?” Kadence asked.
“Yeah, but I can’t be there when you are not feeling well. Tell me what’s wrong?” Eric sat down beside.
Kadence sighed and looked front.
“I just have a lot going on in my head. Tell me Eric, have you ever dreamed about someone you’ve never met but you feel like you two are connected in a way?” Kadence asked.
“Well, I haven’t but my mom used to tell me that before she met my dad she used to see him in dreams. Maybe that’s just a sign to tell you that the person you used to see in your dream is your soulmate” Eric said and looked at her.
“Why ask? Are you always seeing someone in your dreams” Eric asked.
“Well kinda but it’s just complicated.” Kadence groaned and swept her hair behind.
Eric pulled her in for a hug and kissed her hair.
“Maybe a hug will help you” He whispered.
“Thanks” She smiled and placed her head on his chest.
Eric’s heart beats increased as he watched her pretty face. He kept stroking her hair.
At a point he lost it and began leaning closer to her.
“Eric, I think we should go back to class. What do you think?” Kadence spoke and looked up at him.
She furrowed her brows as she saw him leaning closer. He cupped her cheek.
“Eric…” Kadence called awkwardly.
Kadence spranged up from her seat and pushed him away.
“Eric, what’s wrong?” She asked.
Eric stood up too and held her shoulder.
“Kadence, I can’t take it anymore…I’ve tried to suppress this feelings but it keeps growing by the day. Kadence, I love you” He said and held her hands.
Kadence’s eyes bulged out in shock.
“Huh?”
“I’m for real Kadence. I promise to cherish you with all that I’ve got. Just give me a chance…please?” Eric pleaded.
Kadence sighed. She saw the signs but refused to acknowledge it.
“Eric, I’m sorry but I don’t feel the same way towards you. I think I love someone else.” Kadence said.
“Liam right? Kadence I promise to cherish you just give me a chance” Eric said and hugged her tightly.
“Listen Eric, I…”
Before she could finish her words, he sealed her lips with a kiss. Kadence’s eyes bulged out in shock.
“Eric!!” Kadence pushed him away and slapped him hard.
She turned and walked back to class in anger….
Eric stood still in the same position. Drop of tears fell from his eyes to the floor. He sat down on the bench, weeping silently.
Liam, who was standing by the window watching everything, sighed and left. He really feels for Eric.
One hour later, 09:00am**
“The chemistry class today was super interesting.” Sophia smiled, walking in the canteen with Lisa and Nora.
“Yeah, it was” Lisa replied.
“Hey girls, can I borrow this hot girl away from you?” Romeo said, referring to Lisa.
“Sure, she’s all yours” Nora giggled.
He winked and pulled Lisa away.
“What do you want?” Lisa asked.
“Wanna tell and show you something” Romeo said as they walked out of the cafeteria.
“Hey girls!!!” Kadence waved from the table she was sitting on.
Sophia and Nora walked and sat down beside her.
“Where’s Pamela and Quinn?” Sophia asked.
“They got transferred to another school. ” Kadence pouted.
“That’s sad. I never got the chance to say goodbye to them” Sophia sighed.
“Well I think it was urgent.” Nora said, sitting down.
Jody and Ava walked in dressed in skimpy clothes. The look on Ava’s face changed, now she wasn’t pretending anymore to be a sweet saint.
They both sat down on a table and Ava snapped her fingers. A boy came running to her.
“Get me some mango juice and potato chips” Ava ordered and threw some cash at his face.
He nodded and ran away to get her order. She looked at Sophia and they had a glaring competition. Sophia smiled and winked at her.
Jody looked at Gideon’s direction. He quickly averted his gaze from her. She smiled and looked at him.
Gideon looked back at Jody.
“I’ll never be yours” She lip synched the word to him.
Nora saw that and sighed.
“Poor Gideon” She sipped her juice…
Connor and Eric walked in while discussing. Thankfully, Eric’s facial expression was better.
The girls in there couldn’t help but drool all over them. Connor laughed at what Eric said then looked at Sophia.
He drew a heart with his finger and winked at her. Sophia quickly looked away and blushed really hard.
“Omg!!!” The girls gushed.
Soon, the girls swoon all over Sophia asking her if they were together and all other questions.
“Cheez, I’ll die of suffocation” Kadence groaned and squeezed herself out of the crowd, same as Nora.
“Girls help me!!” Sophia screamed.
“Sorry, we can’t” Kadence laughed as they sat at another table.
Kadence looked at Eric’s direction and saw him looking at her with those sad depressed eyes…
Kadence sighed and looked away.
“He confessed to you right?” Nora asked.
“Yeah. I mean I just see him as a friend…he’s even one of my best friends but now look. I’m sure things are gonna be awkward between us right now.” Kadence sighed.
“Yeah but I’m sure with time things will change. I know Eric, he has a pure and understanding heart” Nora smiled fondly.
“I’m sorry he turned you down because of me” Kadence said.
“It’s cool, I’m slowly getting over it” Nora smiled but one could see she’s having a hard time.

“It’s been three days! Three freaking days and I’ve not gotten any news from my brother” Khalil said pacing around.
“Just calm down, you know your brother. He’s very stubborn and does things his own way.” King Rhys said.
“Your highness Reina has successfully invaded Diamond High and is waiting for your orders.” A guard said.
(Reina is one of the seven deadly sins. Sin of lust, just in case you’ve forgotten)
“Good, tell her to find my brother and let him know that we’ll attack on the day of the ball” Khalil said.
“Alright your highness.” The guard went away.
“What’s your plan?” Rhys asked.
“Dad, you know a ball is always held each year in memory of that useless goddess. We’ll attack on that day.” Khalil said.
“That’s a great idea. Kudos to you son, that’s why I’m proud of you” Rhys smiled.
“But you made my brother the crowned prince instead of me” Khalil thought…

“Your gown is so beautiful princess Kaitlyn” A maid said.
She was testing her dress for the ball which will be next week…
“Thanks” Kaitlyn smiled and looked at the Picture of the late queen which was superimposed on the wall.
“Miss you so much mom” She thought sadly…
An old woman who was standing by Kaitlyn’s room sighed her name is madam Ella, she’s Kaitlyn nanny since Kaitlyn was born till date she’s like a mother to Kaitlyn.
“May you behave like your mother Kaitlyn” She smiled.

Zara, Maya and Nancy were all walking out of the school swimming pool.
“I have to go and see someone, will be back” Maya said and dried her hair then quickly changed walking out of the room.
Nancy watched till Maya left…
“I see you h@të your sister very much” Nancy spoke.
“Yeah, more than you can imagine.” Zara spat h@tëfully.
“Join us and I promise you’ll be more than her. You’ll be more pretty, more Sëx¥ and all other” Nancy smirked.
“What do you mean?” Zara turned to her.
Suddenly Nancy’s morphology began changing to that of Reina. Her lips turned to black and her eyes changed to pitch black, her hair grew longer…
“Who are you?” Zara asked, slowly backing away…
