“I’m gonna ask you this for the last time, where’s my son?” King Rhys asked angrily…
Kadence simply sm-irked and stood akimbo.
“Well if you want me to answer it then you’ll have to face me” Kadence sm-irked.
King Rhys bolded his fists, why does a human wants to face him. Wait a minute, the letter was written by Maribella which is the name of the new Queen. If she’s the one who’s here, does that means…?
“You’re…”
“Yeah I’m Maribella, the lost princess. Funny how you had me at the ti-p of you nose all along but you never killed me. You’ll regret why you never killed me for your never leaving here alive” Kadence frowned and bulged her firsts, re-ady to fight.
King Rhys re-moved his long cape and kept it aside. It’s been long he hasn’t fought…
“Hope I still get it” He thought and cracked his knuckles…
He launched at Kadence with so much speed. Luckily Kadence blocked him before he could hit her.
She stepped back and frowned…
“He’s really fast, fas-ter than Liam” She thought, looking at him.
She bulged her fists and launched at him, throwing punches at him which he quic-kly dodged. He caught her hand and made to punch her but she bent down ma-king his punch fly over her head.
She kicked him off, liberating her hands before stepping back in the process. Kadence then knelt down and closed her eyes. She opened them back and it was white in color
Suddenly the ground began trembling and two bold of rocks detached from the ground and headed at Rhys’s direction.
His eyes changed to black and just with the lift of an arm, the two rocks disintegrated to dust creating and heap of dust.
“Take this!” Kadence said and when the dust blew off, she kicked his face then held his hand and fli-pped him over.
Rhys fell heavily on the ground letting a gr0@nout of hisl-ips. He opened his eyes in rage, how dares a mere being like Kadence throw him on the floor.
Within a flash, he had alre-ady caught Kadence’s n£¢k with his eyes all black I color, no traces of white.
“Enough of pla-ying around” He growled and added more pressure on her n£¢k.
Kadence tried to free from his grip on her n£¢k but it was useless.
“You’ll die here and nob©dy will know it” King Rhys spatted it on her face.
Kadence hands slowly crawled to her back unnoticed.
“I’m gonna kill you” Kadence managed to say her eyes becoming misty.
King Rhys laughed and lifted her up from the ground.
“I want to see how you’ll perform that miracle” King Rhys mocked.
“Like this!” Kadence quic-kly re-moved the golden knife she had with her.
Before any other thing, she di-pped it right into Rhys’s stomach. He g@sped loudly and slowly re-leased her.
Kadence fell on the floor and coughed, catching back her breath. King Rhys stared at his wound in pure shock and, and…fear!
“Why is my wound not healing” He asked and blood c@m£ out of the corner of hisl-ips.
Kadence stood up and sm-irked,
“Because the knife I used on you was a poisonous dagger that can harm even the strongest of all demon. That’s the same dagger you monsters killed my sister with!!” Kadence yelled at the end.

“Where’s Kadence?” Liam asked a maid when he couldn’t see her, he’s searched the whole palace and she was nowhere to be found.
“We don’t know Sir” The maids bowed and left.
“This is getting alarming” He thought and went to see the guards…
“Where’s the new Queen?” He asked them.
“She’s on a t©p list mission” The guard replied.
“What? Which t©p list mission?” Liam furrowed his brows.
“Kill king Rhys”
Liam froze completely. Has Kadence gone m@d or something, how can she go and face king Rhys alone?!
Liam speed off the area, in search of Ivan. He met him outside, discussing with Emma and laughing.
“Ivan do you know where Kadence went to?” He asked.
“No your majesty. Isn’t she in the palace?” Ivan asked.
“No” Liam hit the wall angrily.
“Well I think I saw her discussing with Nora” Emma said.
“Where’s Nora?” Liam asked quic-kly.
“She’s with Gideon I think so” Emma said.
“Okay. Kadence went to face my father” Liam said vanished off.
“What?!” Emma and Ivan chorused.

Liam appeared at the only place he could possibly think off and his guess was correct.
He sp©tted Gideon and Nora sitting while eating lunch and smiling. He didn’t care, he barged in the restaurant ma-king people to turn and look at him.
“Where’s Kadence” Liam hit their table and asked.
Nora looked at him in surprise…
“How did you found out that…”
“plea-se Nora, just tell me where she is?” Liam said lowly…
Nora closed her eyes and exhaled loudly, Kadence will just have to forgive her.
“She’s at the Kalahari desert, fighting with king Rhys” Nora said.
“What?!” Gideon exclaimed.
Liam nodded and rushed out of the restaurant before vanishing off.

King Rhys coughed out blood, he could see alre-ady his b©dy slowly turning pale.
It’s just a matter of time before the poison reaches his heart and that’s all for him. A great king like him will be killed by a small insect like Kadence… He’ll die because of a dagger…
All that just infuriated him the more.
“I’ll kill you!!!!!!!” He screamed unchaining all his powers. Black smoke emanated from him while the ground trembled.
Kadence closed her eyes to avoid sand getting into them. She opened it back to see Rhys, in his demon form.
His eyes were so scary and black his hair were floating on its own with two black horns on his head and the tattoo covered both arms. Short he looked like a nightmare.
“I’ll make sure you follow me to my grave” Rhys gro-an ed.
Before Kadence could predict his move, Kadence alre-ady received a punch on the stomach s£nding her crashing on a rock nearby.
King Rhys lifted up his hands and he formed a hvge ball of black flames with black smoke emanating from it before shooting it at Kadence.
Suddenly a figure blocked Kadence and the black flames dissipated completely leaving behind smoke.
The smoke dissipated revea-ling someone wearing a black cloak with his head down. The person lifted up his head.
“Guillermo…you pathetic excuse for a son” King Rhys growled.
Liam also transformed to his demon form too. His eyes were also black with black lines beside his eyes with that black tattoo on his right arm.
Liam looked at Rhys’s stomach which was still bleeding and un-derstood everything.
“Dad, there’s no turning back. Either ways you’ll die, why don’t you just make peace let everything end now?” Liam asked.
King Rhys laughed like it was some kind of jokes, the poison was slow on him because he was a demon.
“Make peace and then what?” Rhys laughed.
“Then I have no choice” Liam muttered.
He turned back and gave Kadence a very furious glare, showing how mad he was. He turned back at Rhys and then launched at him…
A fight soon begun between Liam and Rhys, they fought with so much powers that the ground trembled.
Rhys gave a b!ow on Liam’s face and then punched him s£nding him flying away to hit his back on a rock.
Liam stood up while gro-an ing loudly, holding his stomach. Rhys made a ball of black flames and sh0t him with it.
Before it could reach Liam’s direction, and invisible barrier blocked the flames ball from tou-ching Liam.
Rhys looked left to see it was Kadence’s handwork.
“You…” He growled and raised his hands to Kadence.
A wave of energy surged from his hands and directed itself to Kadence. Liam suddenly appeared beside Kadence and then raised his hands to Rhys, immediately annuling the powers.
King Rhys suddenly appeared right in front of Liam and caught him by the n£¢k.
“No Liam!” Kadence said and made to help him but Rhys was quic-k to b!ow her away ma-king her crash on the rock.
He punched Liam so ha-rd that he fell on the ground.
“I’ll make sure I take you with…me pathetic princess” King Rhys said, he was slowly getting out of breath due to the poison.
Before he could t©uçh Kadence, a g@sp escaped Rhys’sl-ips. His eyes slowly turned back to normal as blood oozed down from his mouth.
“I’m sorry dad, have to do that for peace to reign” Liam whispered. Earlier he had di-pped his hands in his back.
He re-moved his hands from him and Rhys slowly fell down on the floor. He looked at Liam for a brief while…
“My son…” He said and his eyes immediately went shut, the poison had reached his heart.
Liam looked away not wanting to see his Father’s dead b©dy. He gr@bb£d Kadence by the arm so harshly and vanished off.
They appeared back at the palace, in Kadence’s room.
“You’re hurting me Liam” Kadence winced.
Liam pu-ll-ed her r0ûghly in front of her and then re-leased her hand. He hit his hand on the wall, caging her in the middle.
“Tell me!! Just tell me what you were thinking!! Trying to face my father on your own! What if I arrived just a minute late huh? What could have happened to you?!” Liam yelled at her in anger.
“I did what I thought was right…” Kadence said lowly, looking away. Liam was really furious at her.
Liam laughed sarcastically for a short while.
“What was right?! Risking your life out there was the right thing to do?! Kitty!! You’re now the queen but there’s one thing that will never change…. I’m more experience in fighting than you are… Do you think hiding things from me is the right thing to do? Do you…”
“I hid it from you because I don’t want you to suffer!!! I know how it pains to see your family member die in front of you. I know you still love your father no matter what!! I don’t want you to suffer.” Kadence yelled back, cutting him off.
“Kitty! I know this was bound to happen. Me facing my father was something programmed but you loosing your life is something I’m not re-ady for and I’ll never be!!” Liam yelled back staring de-ep in her eyes.
Kadence pushed him away and rushed out of the room in anger.
“fv¢k” He muttered angrily and ran his hand in his hairs….
He looked at his bloody hand and sighed…

The sound of the wind was heard, b!owing in the desert. A b©dy could be seen laying there, half covered by the sand.
Khalil appeared there and looked around, he heard that his father c@m£ here to fight. He sp©tted a b©dy half buried by the sand.
Khalil walked to the b©dy and crouched down. He re-moved the sand from the person’s face and to his greatest surprise…it’s his father. So Liam finally killed him.
A smile broke throu-gh hisl-ips, they don’t know that they just facilitated his job. He brou-ght out the book and slowly chanted the spell.
Rhys’s dead b©dy began glowing and something like black smoke left his b©dy and entered Khalil.
Khalil gro-an ed and spre-ad his arms, gradually absorbing his fathers powers. Well the spell was amazing absorption spell, he wanted to absorb his Father’s power.
Once the absorption was complete, Khalil closed his eyes breathing normally. Black lines traced the whole of his b©dy. His eyes bec@m£ black with his eyes ball red and shiny and hisl-ips was tainted black.
He slowly sm-irked and an evil laugh erupted from hisl-ips….
“Finally! I’m the most powerful being in history. Liam, I’m coming for you! Just wait and see!” He laughed devilishly…
