Chloe Pearson is a high school final year student who lost her parents during her third year in highschool.
After the dismiss of her parents, she’s been staying with the Houghtons who took her in gladly.
The Houghtons had a daughter, Mitchell, who became a loving younger sister to Chloe.
Chloe had six friends who were in the same class as her.
Six best friends; Elodie, Kurr, Havana, Thierry, Nike and Alex.
Finally, It was the last session of the academic year and the students of Paradise High were excited to get back to school.
The students in their final year were super excited too but all their excitement was diminished when strange things started happening in the school.
Now, they’re stuck between playing trivia games or getting killed.
Their school has never been like that, then what could be the cause of what was happening?

❁ 6PM ➪ ELODIE’S HOUSE ❁
Seated around a table in the sitting room, are seven friends who were staring at each other.
” You seriously want us to believe that Sh|t Chloe? That you saw a ghost during your holiday in San Francisco? ” Elodie grimaced and everyone at the table burst into laughter like they’ve been waiting for someone to say it.
” Where did that Sh|t come from Chloe? Did you hit your head?” Kurr Laughed.
” I’ve been wondering if she hurt her head too” Alex joined in the laughter.
” I’m serious, why’s no one believing me?” Chloe protested, looking at each of them.
She frowned when she saw them smothering back their laughter.
” You guys are the worst ” She rolled her eyes at them.
” I believe you chloe, so let’s stop talking about it ” Elodie intervened.
” So how are you preparing for school Kurr?” Elodie asked.
” What do you expect, going back to listen to the most annoying voice of Mrs Almonte” Alex replied.
“I wasn’t talking to you dumbàss..” Elodie snapped which made the others laugh.
” He’s saying the truth.. Mrs Almonte shouts unnecessarily and never cease to piss me off” Chloe laughed.
“I know right ” Alex winked at her.
” You want your eyes plugged out?” Chloe threatened.
“Of course not, it’s just surprising hearing the most intelligent girl in our class complaining.. I thought you get tired of nothing..” He said but Chloe rolled her eyes.
“I thought you guys h@tëd each other?” Havana asked, walking in with a box of pizza.. She was just coming.
” We do…” They both said at a time which made Havana chuckle.
” Can’t believe the two most intelligent students in school always act this childish..” Havana laughed, opening the box of pizza.
” I bet they’ll end up dating” Nike said, taking a pizza.
“You wanna die?” Chloe and Alex said at the same time and the rest laughed.
” I kinda support Senior Nike this time ” Mitchell said amidst laughter.
She’s Chloe’s younger sister and their Junior in school.
” I think, I lost my appetite and need to go home” Chloe rolled her eyes, standing on her feet.
” That’s it, she takes every joke seriously” Elodie scoffed.
“Why not, when all she knows is study” Kurr stated.
“Oh! Please, I don’t like the joke you all are pulling on my girlfriend” Thierry smiled but Chloe rolled her eyes.
” Can we study instead?” She said and everyone including Thierry looked at her.
Oh how they h@tëd the smell of books. If it wasn’t their parents always urging them to go to school, they’d prefer being together all day playing games.
” Not in my house.. mom and dad are finally not around so I need to enjoy myself before they come back and start nagging me about studying ” Elodie replied.
” Sure.. don’t know why Chloe always makes me bored anytime she’s around” Havana said, scoffing.
“Alright.. let’s play some games ” Nike suggested and the rest nodded but Chloe objected.
” Can I borrow that book? The dead zone by Stephen king?” Chloe asked and Elodie pointed at another table.
” Yeah, it’s there ” She said and Chloe got the book.
She sat at a corner and started reading the book while the others played games.
This continued untill night fall and everyone went home.

A WEEK LATER ~ PARADISE HIGH°°
The Best friends met at Elodie’s house first before walking the remaining distance to school.. The always meet at Elodie’s house each morning before going to school.
” Hey..” Thierry smiled when Chloe got to them with Mitchell.
” Yeah..”
” I’m so sure you’ll never get a boyfriend cos your attitude sucks” Nike said as they walked down the street.
” I’m always ready to have her heart.. I won’t mind her flaws” Alex smiled, staring at Chloe who stopped walking.
” You wanna die? ” She glared.
” Oh! girl, take things easy” Elodie rolled her eyes.
“Oh! Please spare my baby bunny..” Havana chipped in which made everyone laugh.
” You should work on your temper Chloe, it’s a turn off for me” Kurr grimaced.
“Can’t believe school is finally open.. gosh, I’m bored already” Thierry hissed as they stood in front of the school gate.
” We have no choice, we just have to persevere.. it’s our last year in high school anyway.. ” Kurr replied as they entered the school premises.
They’re all in the senior class except for Mitchell who is in the junior class.
” Bye Mitchell ” Chloe waved, going to her own class.

The friends got to class and settled on their seats which wasn’t far from one another.. seven of them, their seats were at the back..
” Can’t believe I’ll keep seeing her annoying face again” Franca rolled her eyes, walking to her seat while her minions followed behind.
Here’s the thing; Franca and Chloe are enemies. Franca has always h@tëd Chloe for being too brilliant and as if that wasn’t enough, she keeps having all the guys’ attention despite her annoying attitude.
” Should we throw a welcome party for her?” Nana, Franca’s minion asked.
“She loves the library.. how about going there to catch some fun with her?” Quiin chipped in and Franca smiled mischievously.
After what felt like ages, no teacher came to class and Chloe decided to go to the library to read.. Alex followed behind while their other friends stayed back.
” I’m serious, if you’re following me because you like me, you should give up” Chloe said, entering the library with Alex who chuckled.
They began looking for a book to read when he turned to her.
” Why should I like you? You know I h@të you right? I h@të everything about you… The fact that my dad keeps comparing me with you sucks but I still don’t know why I keep talking to you ” He said.
“Then you should stop talking to me.. ” She snapped.
” W..what are y..you doing” She gulped and started going backwards when he started walking towards.
She kept going backwards untill her back met with the book shelf.
He leaned closer and she couldn’t help but blink rapidly as her heart skipped numerous beats at a time.
” W-what are… you doing?” She stuttered again but he slightly pushed her away from his way before taking a book which was above her head.
” I wanted this..”He said, opening the book.. The book had strange drawings on the cover which looked dreadful.
” This would be fun..” He said excitedly and she exhaled deeply before standing properly.
” ??? ?????’? ????; ??? ?? ????? ?? ??? ??????” He read the words written on the book cover.
” What’s this? What’s this doing in the library?” Chloe asked, taking the book from him as they went through it’s content together.
” This is scary ” She said and Alex returned the book but unknown to them, it fell to the ground.
” I guess I won’t be able to read because of you..” Chloe said, walking out of library where they met Franca and her friends.
Franca swallowed hard and walked away. She couldn’t cause a scene because of Alex, so she had to let go this once.
” I think she has a thing for you ” Chloe said as they proceeded to class.
” Well, I don’t like girls like her ” Alex replied.
” Good for you ” She shrugged as they got to class.
The rest of their friends went to them and they sat in a circle. They started talking about meeting up after school but Chloe’s mind already drifted to wonderland.
