” Gosh why are they taking so long?” Elodie muttered. She was only on a singlet cos she’s using her shirt to clean Thierry’s sweat.
” I’m sure they’ll be here any moment from now” Bobby assured.
Kurr kept looking out of the hall to see if they were coming while Nike was walking around the hall restlessly.
” There’s something I need to tell you Elodie” Thierry muttered in pain.
“No don’t talk.. we’ll talk when you’re okay alright?” She replied, wiping off her tears.
“I’m tasty..” He muttered and Elodie cried.
” Alex will be here soon..”
” I’m not sure I’ll make it Elodie.. just wanted to say I have a crush on you” he said inwardly, while smiling at her.
He took her shirt from his forehead and wrapped something in it.
” Take this” He said and raised his hands towards her but before his hands could meet hers,, it went back down.
He just gave up the ghost.
” Thierry!”
” Thierry.. “Elodie called but she got no reply.
“No Thierry, you can’t leave me too.. Thierry please wake up” She cried.
Alex and Chloe ran in almost immediately panting heavily.
Chloe blinked rapidly and the bag in her hands fell to the ground. The tears that had stopped falling for a while came back afresh.
” Is Thierry playing games too?” She asked, walking towards Elodie.
“I don’t know but why’s he not saying a thing?? Chloe I’m scared.. I’m scared right now. Please tell Thierry to open his eyes” Elodie cried.
Kurr and Nike bent their heads as tears started leaving their eyes. Alex started laughing like a maniac with tears trickling down his cheek.
He walked over to Thierry and punched his face.
” Hey, stand up you Sh|t-head. I told you to stay strong didn’t I? . it’s just been 15min and I ran with all my might to bring you this, So please stand up let’s dress your wound. I brought your favorite snacks too, so you can eat it and use this drugs. We need to end the game together Thierry, so please stand up” Alex shouted.
Bobby looked at the body and his eyes glistened with tears.
” How come I lost two people I cherish? Why? Why’s my life destined to be sad? Firstly it was mom and dad, Then Mitch and now Thierry?” Chloe screamed in tears.
“What? Mitchell?” Nike asked.
” The person this Bob cat was referring to, was Mitchell?” Nike asked again but everyone was to sad to give a response.
” Thierry please” Elodie wept and her eyes caught the sheet of paper in her shirt.
She grabbed it with shaky hands and opened it.
Another round of tears left her eyes when she saw it was Thierry’s writing.
“ You’ve shown me how to live and you have showed me how to be truly happy. I want you to know that every time I smile, you’re the reason behind it. You make me smile when others can’t, your smile makes me warm when I’m cold. You’ve shown me so much love and so much care, but it’s saddens me that I can’t even tell you I feel this way. I know the day I’ll give you this, I might not be around anymore. I love you so much Elodie…
“ Tell Chloe not to be hard on Alex and tell her he loves her but he’s scared of her response that’s why he’s been acting up. Live a good life and have all the happiness in the world, I love you” Elodie’s tears drenched the paper in her hands.
” I h@të you Thierry. I h@të you so much” She cried.
Chloe’s eyes were red as Füçk, she was tired, she saw no reason to live anymore.. she wasn’t herself again.
The only thing on her mind was to die too.
She fell to the ground on her butt as tears wouldn’t stop flowing. Each and everyone of them was sad and hope was slowly slipping from them.
They were tired of everything.
The was silence between the friends as Bobby watch them cry silently. He felt their pain.
His eyes went to Chloe and he sighed sadly.
” How did this game even get to their school?” He wondered, looking at each of their faces.
A demon immediately appeared, they weren’t even aware of it’s presence untill it spoke up.
” Get it right or get killed..” The possessed guy said.
Elodie immediately looked up but the rest were still in tears as they stared at Thierry’s body.
She stood up and walked towards the demon and without thinking twice, she landed a solid slap on the possessed guy’s face.
” Why are y’all tormenting innocent teens? Teens who just wanted a simple life huh? Aren’t you tired of killing them?” She yelled and immediately, a knife went into her right ear such that, it was showing at the other ear.
She fell down dead!
” Elodie!” Kurr screamed.
Angrily, he rushed to the possessed guy and held the knife. The guy laughed before vanishing from there, but that wasn’t all.. he appeared again behind Kurr this time and delved the knife into the back of his head and it came out from his forehead.
Chloe whimpered as she watch Kurr’s body fell to the ground too.
Her eyes moved to Thierry’s body and settled there.
She started laughing while Bobby couldn’t hold his tears.
He noticed the willingness to survive and end the game wasn’t there anymore so he sat down too, All of them waiting for their turn to die.
Each one of them began thinking of their good memories as tears dropped down their cheeks.
I CUT THROUGH EVIL, LIKE A DOUBLE EDGED SWORD.
AND CHAOS FLEES AT MY APPROACH.
BALANCE I SINGLE-HANDEDLY UPRAISE, THROUGH BATTLES FOUGHT WITH HEART AND MIND, INSTEAD OF WITH MY GAZE.
WHAT AM I?.. the demon asked and immediately, the count down continued.
Three.. two… one… It came to an end with none of them giving an answer. The possessed guy laughed loudly as he appeared in front of Chloe.
He raised his knife up and brought it down to her neck.
” Arghh!!” Nike screamed…..
