Orla came down from the cab with a mischievous smile on her face, Rhea would definitely kill her when she finds out that she took her credit card, or maybe not. They were really close friends so they shared everything.

“Your ID?” The guard asked bluntly.
Orla groaned and dropped the smile. Okay, maybe this guy needed to experience some love in his life? Why was he taking his job this seriously? He wouldn’t even smile or move from the door.

She put on a more serious expression and cleared her throat. “Um… I left my library card behind,” she replied.
“Then I am sorry I can’t let you in, you would either have to go and get it, or fill out a form and wait for a new one. That’s the only way you are going in here,” he said solemnly.

Orla scoffed and said in a mutter, “What an @$$ hole, your wife must have dumped you.”

“Nothing,” she replied and huffed. “Alright, since you won’t let me in, I would like to see the manager. Who is in charge of this place?” She queried in a rude tone.
Orla knew that she had left her card behind at her house, she couldn’t go back there for any reason, at least not for the next few days.
“Why do you want to see the manager?” The man queried.
“Grhhhh,” Orla snarled, making an animal noise in anger with her teeth gritted.
The man moved back with a little fright on his face, obviously the first facial expression he made ever since she stepped foot in here.
She wondered if he was always like this or if he had a problem with her. She never paid any attention to him whenever she came here in the past, she would just show him her card and walk in.
“I won’t ask again, where is the manager’s office,” she asked in a mean voice.
He finally smiled. So this guy was capable of smiling, she had doubts about that minutes ago.
“I will show you where you can find the manager, but trust me… you won’t get a pass, he will tell you to do exactly as I said,” he replied.
Orla scoffed and rolled her eyes at him. “Which way should I go?” She queried.
“To your left, last room in the hallway.” He informed her, she scoffed again and flipped her hair in his face.
“Whore,” she heard him mutter and she froze.
She turned around and faced him, he was smiling in satisfaction. She thought of going there and breaking his arm, but then she would risk exposing her identity.
Her mind was supposed to hide their true nature from humans, they were supposed to blend in. If people found out that she was something other than human, they would not only fear her, they would hunt her.
She forced a smile and got her anger under control. Maybe she should let Savage Orla take a break today, she would definitely deal with this man some other day. He called her a whore, so maybe she would R@PE him to a coma.
She turned around and kept moving. It didn’t take her long to find the office, it was just where the fool had told her that she would find it.
Orla knocker gently the first time, but there was no response. She was about to knock the second time when she heard a sound, she would recognize that sound anywhere and anytime.
