MONTERIO’S FAMILY HOUSE***
Lilian was lying in her bed when there was a knock on the door.
A maid popped her head in before entering the room fully.
“Good morning, Miss Lilian. Chairman is calling you down from breakfast” the maid said.
Lilian turned her back to the maid, holding her teddy bear to her chest.
“Tell him I’ll keep starving myself if he refuses to bring back my Mom” she said.
“Huh?”
“I’m not hungry, just take your leave” Lilian snapped.
“Oh, sorry Miss” the maid turned to leave.
Lilian suddenly sat up and turned to her.
“Is my Dad downstairs?” She asked.
The maid turned back to her.
“Yes, Miss. He’s waiting in the dining room” she replied.
“Okay, thanks”
“Should I tell him you’ll be coming down for breakfast?”
“No, I have no appetite for now,” Lilian said.
The maid nodded and left.
Immediately the maid was gone, Lilian sprang up from the bed and rushed to her Dad’s study room.
She opened the door steadily and entered, looking around. She walked to the table and her eyes met her Dad’s phone on it.
She picked it and unlocked it since she knows his password.
She went to the call log and dialed Charles’ number immediately.
“Hello Dad” she heard his voice.
“Brother, it’s me Lilian”
“Lilian? What are you doing with Dad’s phone? Why didn’t you call me with your phone?” Charles asked.
“That’s not important right now. Mom came over yesterday and…”
“You say what?”
“She came over yesterday, I want to see her again”
Charles’ eyes dilated and he clenched his jaw in anger.
“Forget about her Lilian, she’s no one. Forget if she ever existed, okay?” He said.
“Because she abandoned us, was that why you and Dad lied to me that she’s dead?”
“How did you know that?”
“How I knew about that is not important, I just want to see my Mom back”
“Lilian!!” Charles yelled and she broke down in tears.
“Look, I’m sorry, okay? I shouldn’t have yelled at you but you need to know that there’s no need for you to see her again. Yes, she abandoned us and that’s more reason why we don’t need her in our life anymore”
Lilian shook her head while crying.
“I don’t care if she abandoned us, I just want to see my Mom back. Do you know how long I crave to have a mother of my own? Do you?!”
“If Mom shouldn’t return back to this house, then I’m going to starve myself to death!” She screamed in tears.
“Don’t Lilian. You know what, I’m coming over right now. Don’t try any stupid thing, okay?” Charles rushed.
“I just want my Mom back” she whispered.
“I’m coming over, alright?”
The door opened and Mr. Monterio’s entered. He was shocked to find his phone in Lilian’s hands.
“What are you doing with my phone?” He moved closer to her.
Lilian quickly ended the call and placed the phone back on the table.
“I called Charles to inform him about Mom’s arrival” she said.
“You did what? Why would you tell him? You know how much Charles h@tës the sound of that?!”
“I don’t know since you chose to hide the truth from me! Even if she does something worse than that to us, she’s still our Mom and your wife!” Lilian half yelled.
That word calmed Mr. Monterio down
“She came to see us, she even hugged me and promised not to leave anymore. Isn’t that enough proof that she’s back to us?” She asked slowly.
She went to him and held his hands.
“Dad please, bring her back. I love her so much” she said.
“You love her even after everything? You never saw her, she abandoned you when you’re just a year old. She eloped with another man and abandoned us, yet you still love her??”
Lilian nodded her head in tears.
“I love her because she’s my Mom” she muttered.
Mr. Monterio pulled her to a hug while she cried on his shoulder.
“You little thing, you’re just so innocent” he mumbled.
“I’ll bring your Mom back to you, I promise. I’ll try my best so you can see her again” he said.
Lilian stopped crying immediately she heard that. She placed her arms around him, smiling happily.
“Thank you, Dad,” she whispered.

CHARLES’ MANSON****
Charles was sitting on the bed when Hailey returned from the bathroom. Her face was flushed and she was holding the hem of her top tight.
She went to the bed and sat not too far away from him.
“Sunshine,” she started playing with her fingers.
“Last night… Did I?… I… Did I?” She stuttered, her cheeks reddening the more.
Charles turned to her and a smile left his lips when he noticed her nervousness.
“Did you sucked me last night?” He completed it for her.
Hailey cringed slightly at his vulgar use of words.
“You didn’t, I was only teasing you” he muttered.
A wash of relief came over her and she smiled.
“That wasn’t funny” she mumbled.
“Then try to stop getting yourself drunk again. What if something bad had happened to you while I wasn’t there?” He scolded.
“I was only bored and… I’m sorry” she pouts.
“It’s fine. It’s my fault anyways, I shouldn’t have left you all alone” he said and stood up.
“Sunshine,” Hailey suddenly called.
He stopped walking but never turned to face her.
“Something is wrong, right?” She asked. She stood and walked to him.
“You look tense, can you tell me what’s bothering you?”
“Lilian called just now,” Charles said.
“Oh… What did she say?”
“She said my Mom came by yesterday”
“Your Mom?”
“How dare she show her face after so many years? Isn’t she ashamed at all?” Charles said. He was trying so hard to still the rage that was surging within him.
“Worst still, Lilian keeps crying that she wants her back. This is just driving me crazy, I swear I won’t forgive her if I ever set my eyes on her”
“Sunshine,” Hailey called slowly.
“Your Mom returned back after so many years, isn’t that enough proof that she never forgot you?” She muttered.
“You should go to Lilian first, she needs you now more than anything”
“Please” she whispered, holding his hand.
Charles stared at her without saying a word.

BROOKLYN’S RESIDENCE***
Leah, Sebastian and Jaime sat around the table having their breakfast.
“Dad, since today is the weekend,, can I go over to a friend’s?” Jaime asked.
“Who?”
“Mickey,” Jaime quickly replied.
“It’s been so long since he came over, is he okay?” Leah asked.
“Yes, he is fine. So, can I?” Jaime asked.
“Sure, just be careful,” Sebastian said.
“Sure, I will,” Jaime said.
They continued eating in silence.
