The driver waited for Alaric’s instruction while the man himself adjusted the girl in his arms while trying to seat properly on the car seat.
He liked it like this, with her in his arms and as obedient like a little kitten. He couldn’t help but feel like locking her up in a glass house where only he can see he everyday and touch her everyday.
Sophia didn’t even know what the man was thinking while the driver drove to a restaurant which was an hour away just so the boss lady could sleep longer, according to the bosses orders of course.
When they got to the restaurant, so many bodyguards came to obstruct the view of everyone from seeing their bosses soon to be wife whom he carried in a bridal style.
Everyone was surprised when they noticed the y noticed the bodyguards come in blocking their views perfectly. They walked straight towards a private room upstairs and away from everyone.
There was a small loophole which allowed the man who came from the toilet see girl who was asleep in Alaric’s arms, but he couldn’t see her face, all he could see was her beautiful red hair.
Everyone knew without asking that the man walking ahead was Mr Alaric Quinn but they didn’t understand why he was really covered like something they weren’t meant to see was in the middle or rather someone.
Sophia didn’t even know she was turning a whole gold card restaurant upsidedown just by lying peacefully in the arms of her soon to be husband.
The man who caught a glimpse of her didn’t dwell on it and walked past without thinking too much. Alaric got into the private room and sat down looking at the girl for some seconds before a hint of darkness flashed across his eyes.
He pinched her nose shut. Sophia who started struggling to breath was quick to open her eyes to meet that of the cold man who was looking down at her. Being so close to him she couldn’t help but admire his features.
SOPHIA’S POV…🍁
Lord how could you make a man as fine as this. Looking at him felt like a sin she’d gladly commit. He looked like the devil himself.
“Get off you aren’t light. What do you eat, why are you so heavy” my face flushed with embarrassment. I have been staring for so long god d@mn it I look like I might even be drooling.
My hand reached slowly to the side of my lips while I got up trying to check if I was drooling without Alaric noticing.
“You have no manners. You don’t tell a lady she is heavy “I had to complain with a grumble. Alaric didn’t look like he cared and he pulled off his suit jacket right at my front making me gasp.
Yes, those muscles I have touched before, but seeing them right now felt so freaking different. He rolled up his shirt sleeves and he looked like a dominant CEO who just came back from hell.
One sentence could be used to describe Mr Alaric Quinn. ‘he is one fine specimen’. Even men in movies ain’t as fine as this.
This almost made me wonder if his sold his humanity to the devil for this face cause d@mn. I couldn’t help but blush after realizing I was thinking about indecent things all because of this dog of a man.
The food was brought in and I couldn’t help but still I wait. Yes this is it, I haven’t eaten since morning and I could feel my stomach growl.
Ah, i almost starved my baby to death. My hand reached out slowly and I picked up a chicken lap but I didn’t expect to be slapped on the hand. I looked at the cold man beside me with a questioning look.
“Greesy” Alaric mumbled with a frown on his face.
“Then why did you order for it” this man really won’t let me live in peace why does it feel like he will be the one to kill me before my time?
“I didn’t” I couldn’t help but frown. What did he mean by he didn’t. Just then the door was pushed open and a man whose hair was tied up in a bun walked in with a smile on his face.
It was very obvious he is the clingy type.
“Ali” he called so intimately making me almost cringe.
Almost!
It seems he didn’t even notice me sitting across alaric and went to his dear Ali. Alaric raised an eyebrow before the man who came in could touch him.
“Touch me and I’ll remove one of your fingers and show it to your grandma so she will die faster” his voice was cold and the man who was leaning in for a hug moved back with a smile.
“I guess she is the only one who is allowed to touch you and your mother of course “when the man said this my brows furrowed. Who is she? Could it be me?
When I was resting on him and he didn’t complain it can be me.
“Shut up” Alaric warned but the strange man didn’t seem ready to let it go as he backed me. well I was wearing all black and practically look like one of the seats so I won’t blame his eyesight.
“Dude it’s been 9 years, stop thinking about her and she wasn’t nice anyways”
“I said shut up” Alaric’s aura seemed to come out and I couldn’t help but look between them. 9 years ago? He didn’t even know existed then and I was only 11 years old.
Who is she?
She could make the calm Alaric lose his self control…the man with his hair packed up finally stopped and picked up a chicken wing. When he raised his eyes they met mine and we both froze.
He might not be as handsome as Alaric sitting over there but he is one fine man.
“Hi” I called out softly waving sheepishly. I felt embarrassed to death. If I could bury myself I would have.
The man started coughing as I rushed to get him a glass of water while Alaric looked lost. Was it because of her? Was he thinking of the girl he was with years ago?
The man collected the water and I couldn’t help but frown. who was she really? It felt like a hand grabbed my heart to squeeze it.
Before the man could say anything after calming himself alaric gestured me to come over to him and I did so like an obedient little girl. He pulled me into his arms… They were cold, what exactly was going on in his mind?
“Who is she?” The man with a bun on his head asked looking at Alaric and i like he was making sure we were real.
“My wife, your sister in-law”
