“We are done miss” the stylist said to Daisy who was already dozing off the chair.
Oprah who had been scrolling through a magazine walk up to stare at Daisy new look.
“Stylish” Oprah commented.
“More like sophisticated” Daisy said fín?E?ing her new hair.
“So are we going to get clothes now?” Oprah asked.
“Clothes, shampoo, perfume, lip gloss and everything else Gianna use, we are going to get it” Daisy said as they made their way out of the saloon.
“And from whose budget will that be coming out of?” Oprah asked.
“From mine” Daisy replied.
“Are you crazy? Must you go far just to play your part?” Oprah asked.
“This is worth it” Daisy replied.
“Tell me exactly what this Oliver King did to you? Why all this h@të towards him” Oprah asked.
Her h@të towards him had began a week just after she started working for him five years ago.
A maid who had gotten pregnant but couldn’t leave her job due to money got stress from work and had fainted.
Finding out the cause of her fainting, Oliver had fired her saying he didn’t want a pregnant woman working for him and though the girl had begged him, he had pay deaf ears to her.
Daisy had thought him arrogant then and not wanting to get on his bad side, she did her best to avoid him and just do her job which is taking care of Monica but when Gianna showed up, her wanting not to get on his bad side became more frequent.
A maid who had been nothing but innocent had been accused as a thief by Gianna but Daisy had stood up for the girl and when Gianna did find her missing thing, Daisy had demanded for an apology which Gianna refused to give.
Daisy had gone to Oliver to tell him and the reply he had given her had left her thinking of him as a bully.
“Why should she apologise to a maid, she’s the boss and will always be the boss. If you feel offended you can quit” he said.
Holding her tongue in, Daisy had left his office while cursing him from within.
Her third clash with him was when Monica wanted to go on a summer camp but spiting the little girl, Gianna had told Oliver not to let her go, giving him lectures about the danger during camping and Oliver had agreed.
Monica had cried her eyes out insisting that Daisy do something which she did, she tried to talk to Oliver but had only received his insult and his telling her not to meddle in their family matter.
Her fourth clash was when Gianna had insisted on taking one of the maid to shop with her but the maid had been sick which left Daisy going with her.
Oliver had joined them and Daisy had watched Gianna pick a lot of pretty outfit while Oliver indulged her.
Daisy had excused herself and was going to use the rest room when she stood starring at a pretty gown. She didn’t realise that she had stayed there starring for long until she heard Oliver say behind her.
“Tempted by it?” He asked startling.
“Well what can you do? You can only be tempted at starring not at buying since you can’t afford to buy it” he added while she glared at him.
“What? Does the truth hurt?” He ask mocking her.
“Do you know that you have a knack at being cruel to others?” She found herself asking.
“Really? I didn’t. I am a decent boss and if you think that have been nothing but cruel to you then you are free to quit” he said.
“Quit! You always say that to me. Do you really want me to quit?” Daisy asked.
“If you do it will be a great loss to Monica since she’s grown fond of you but to me I will feel very grateful if you do” he replied harshly.
She was about asking him why, when Gianna showed up ending wh@tëver conversation they had going.
Though she didn’t get to ask him why he wanted her gone, she got to know that he h@tëd her.
And her last clash with him which got her quitting her job was the night she had emptied a plate of soup on Gianna’s head.
What had happened after then got Daisy shivering a little and it also jolted her back to the present.
“It will be best if you don’t know” Daisy said to Oprah who was still waiting for a reply before walking off while Oprah watch her.
“What really happen between them?” Oprah ask no one in particular before going after Daisy.

Monica lay on the bed with her eyes shut while she listened in on the conversation going on at the other bed beside her.
After her pretence of fainting, she had been taken to the school infirmary and while the nurse check up on her, Prince was also told to stay so they can check up on him which had been half an hour ago.
She wanted him to leave before she leave but his friends had to show up ruining her plan.
“Is she okay?” She heard Matt, a friend of Prince ask.
“I think so” Prince replied starring at her.
“Another kiss might probably wake her up” Jonathan said jokingly while they all laugh well except for Lewis who kept starring at Monica.
“It’s best if you three leave now” Prince said.
“Aren’t you coming?” Johnathan asked.
“It will be best if I just relax some more” Prince replied while his friends gave him a naughty look.
“Fine then, we will leave you two alone just don’t go too far with her” Matt said while Prince did a Füçk you sign at him.
“Take care” Lewis said before following the other two out of the room.
Monica was still pretending to be asleep when she heard Prince say.
“You can stop pretending, they’ve gone”
What? Did he know that she’s been pretending? How did he? when did he? What should she do?
Those thought went through Monica head as she kept on pretending.
“Or do you want another kiss? Maybe Johnathan is right, kissing you might just do the trick” He said and on hearing that Monica sat up, her face coming close in contact to his due to him standing close to her bed.
Her eyes widened when she noticed how close they both were and slowly she lay back on the bed trying to put distance between them.
Prince smiled and slowly move away from her bed side.
“I was wondering how long you will keep pretending” he said folding his arms while starring down at her.
“Am sorry, it was the only thing I could think of at that time” she confess starring at her clutched fingers.
“Why were you even in a hurry? Cause if I didn’t catch you, you would have been injured badly” he said and it was at that particular moment that her mind drifted to Micheal and Stella.
“It’s just that I…..I…..” She stop, trying to hold back a sob that threatened to spill.
“You saw something you shouldn’t have seen” he concluded and she nodded remembering that he had been there the day she caught Stella and Micheal.
Suddenly she felt his hand on her head and she look up at him.
“Try to get some rest and when I say rest, I meant a real one and not a fake” he said pushing back a strand of her hair while she kept starring at him dumbfounded.
He was at the door when she said to him.
“Am sorry for what happened earlier” she said referring to the kiss.
“I think you should save the apology, you won’t be thanking me when tomorrow comes and also it’s a debt” he said.
“What?”
“The kiss, you owe me and I intend to get it back ” he said and left before she could give him a reply……

< KING RESIDENCE >
“Everything is ready, we just have to start with the act” Monica said to Daisy who was smoothing down the figure hugging gown she wore.
She felt strange wearing a gown which hardly covers a thing but then if she wants to succeed in fooling Oliver then she’s got to go with it.
“Are you ready?” Monica ask as she went to stand by the stairs.
“I am” Daisy replied in the British accent Gianna always used.
“Then it’s show time” Monica said in excitement before clearing her throat.
“What the hell are you doing here Gianna, leave!”Monica said raising her voice so Oliver could hear.
“Am here to see Oliver,just let me see him” Daisy replied while Monica made a sign for her to come up the stairs.
“You can’t go up there! Get out before I call the cops on you ” Monica said again and Daisy turned to her to give her a thumbs up before saying in her British accent.
“Call whoever you want but I won’t leave without seeing Oliver”
At that particular moment the door open and Oliver walked out.
“Gianna, is that you? Is it really you?” Oliver asked and Daisy who have never seen his smile got lost starring at it.
“Talk to me G , you know I can’t see you” Oliver said more desperately.
Daisy return to earth and turn to stare at Monica who nodded for her to go ahead before turning back to Oliver.
If she begin this lie then there is no going back, she h@tës the deception but she likes the fact that she’s finally going to put this arrogant man in his place for good.
Forcing a smile on her face, she said the one thing Gianna always say whenever she calls him..
“Yes Olive love, it’s me your one and only G” she drawled before moving into his arms to hug him……………
