“Good afternoon,sir” Spencer greeted respectfully,when he entered.
Dexter just hummed a reply,while seriously focussed on his computer. Typing in the words so fast.
He finally stopped to look at Spencer,after he was half way gone.
“Spencer….he called,relaxing on his swivel.
“Yes,sir” Spencer answered,pondering on why he asked to see him in the first place.
“That Lira girl,one of the wine makers you employed. Did you conduct any interview before employing her? Is she a wine maker at all” Dexter asked.
“I did,sir. They were all interviewed,they even made samples and showed me before I gave them the job. Their samples were all good,including the said girl,Lira” Spencer explained,while Dexter just kept looking at him as he explains.
“Then why the hell is she neglecting what brought her here?” Dexter shot,and Spencer put his head down in dejection.
Dexter has never called to querry him about any employee not doing his or her job well.
Being the Hiring Manager,any worker he employs,does his or her work diligently. But now,Lira wants to spoil his name.
“I’m sorry,sir. I’ll go to the factory room after here,let me know what’s happening in there” He bowed,but still stood there.
“You can leave” Dexter said,sighing heavily.
“Yes,sir” Spencer replied and left in a fleet.
Dexter resumed his work immediately Spencer left.
“Why I haven’t fired that girl is what still baffles me” Dexter muffled within,shaking his head.
He paused for a moment and picked up the telephone again,calling Ryan to confirm something.
“Are those people still coming by four? I hope they aren’t going to postpond the meeting again?” Dexter asked.
“They’ll come,sir. I just called to confirm that,a while ago” Ryan replied.
“Okay…” Dexter replied shortly,and hung up,dropping the telephone back.
A sweet thought suddenly ran through his mind as he sat back comfortably,and he smiled.
He misses someone so much,and badly wants to see that person,but work won’t just let him.
Though,they spoke on phone like twenty minutes ago,before Spencer came in. But that isn’t enough.
He wants to see her,hug,then kiss that person roughly,for making him miss her that much.
“I miss my witch” He said,and chuckled at the”witch”
While still on that,a knock came on the door.
He ignored,and acted like he didn’t hear it.
It came again the second time,and he scoffed.
“Come in,please”He said,and the door made a creaking sound immediately,revealing the person.
“Dad…?” He called slowly,giving a short smile,but with shock written all over his face.
Robert smiled handsomely like his son always does,going forth to sit down.
“Dad,what are you doing here?” Dexter asked,still looking at his dad in shock.
“Are you surprised to see me?” Robert asked.
Of course Dexter is surprised,who wouldn’t? He can’t even remember when last his dad visited him in his Company.
“I am,dad. I wasn’t expecting you at all”Dexter replied him.
“I know,how are you?”He asked,sitting down.
“I’m fine thank you,dad. What brings you here?”Dexter inquinsitively asked.
“Aren’t you happy that I am here?”Robert furrowed,slightly smirking.
“Of course I am happy to see you,I’m just still suprised”Dexter chuckled.
“It’s understandable,son. Anyway,I just came to see you,and how you’re handling your Company”Robert said,while checking a message on his phone.
He dropped the phone afterwards,to chat with his son. That’s what brought him here,after all.
He and Dexter talked for close to one hour,and still,it wasn’t enough. It was as if they didn’t talk at all.
Dexter had missed having a sweet conversation like this,with his dad.
He feels so happy and satisfied right now.
“I am so sorry about your health,son. Hope you visit the hospital for proper checkups?” Robert said.
He also feels bad for being hard on Dexter all this while,unknowingly.
“Not exactly,dad. Doctor Mark actually comes to the house to check on me instead” Dexter replied.
“That’s even better. But I am still mad at you for keeping this away from all of us,you shouldn’t have,yunno. I am not happy with you” Robert frowned a little.
“I’m sorry,dad” Dexter replied simply.
“I can see that you’re handling your Company well,weldone,son. I’m proud of you” Robert praised him,and Dexter felt a spark of light,like a shooting star,shimmering in his heart.
“Thank you,dad”He grinned,and his dad smiled too.

Annika was just rounding up with the files to go submit, when the door opened gently.
She turned,and to her utmost surprise, there, stood Roland out of nowhere.
“Roland..?” She called, looking really surprised to see him.
Her heart was beating seriously,just having or seeing him around.
“Füçk,Anni! I’ve really missed you” Roland smiled broadly, and before he knew it,Annika ran to him and hugged him tight.
“I’ve missed you too,Roland. I really do, and I think…I think….” She stuttered.
“You think what, just say it,I’m listening” Roland kept smiling.
“I LOVE YOU,ROLAND” Annika said,hugging him again.
“d@mn it! You do…like for real?” He asked, hugging her back. Annika nodded, and smiled.
“Does this mean…we are back together?” Roland asked,excitedly.
“Yea,sure” Annika smiled, and they hugged again for the hundredth time.
“Can I…k…kiss you? I’ve so much missed you” Roland said, and she nodded.
Roland quickly leaned in without wasting time. Just when their lips were about to meet,Annika retracted back and gave him a resounding slap.
“Füçk!” He cursed, and he got another thunderous one. Annika gave him another one with the back of her palm.
“What the hell!” He screamed, but Annika shut him up with another one.
“Anni,have you lost it…what is the meaning of this?” He asked,already bleeding from his mouth.
“Shut the Füçk and let me finish. And yes,I can lose it for the sake of Dexter” She said,and landed him another blinding one.
“How dare you…you moron!! You were cheating on me,yet you came to lie.
“The one that can make me kill you is that of my baby being asthmatic because of you,baboon!” Annika shouted and kicked his balls.
“Ahhh” He screamed and fell on his feet.
Meanwhile, Dexter has been by the door,watching. Right from the”I LOVE YOU” part.
When Annika sighted him,she quickly ran to him,and hugged him tight,resting her head on his chest.
“Boo Bear…” Annika cooed,like she’s about to cry.
“I…I” She wanted to talk again,but Dexter shut her up with a deep kiss.
“A…Anni” Roland called lowly, while watching them kiss sweetly.
