Dexter blew her an air kiss,then winked at her and bit his lip seductively,making her to giggle again.
“I LOVE YOU” She said,but not out loud. So,Dexter just read her lips and understood.
“I LOVE YOU MORE” He did his own too and winked again. Annika chuckled and shook her head,folding her arms too.
They were actually a bit far from each other.
“This Office is so large and beautiful,Boo Bear” Annika gushed as they both started walking around,admiring the place.
“Your Office,you mean” Dexter corrected.
“Yea yea,my Office” She smiled,and continued walking around,gushing.
“I told that guy to change this art work,but he didn’t” Dexter mumbled within himself and hissed,bringing down the painting.
With the painting in his hand,about turning to drop it at a corner. Annika hugged him tight from behind,rapping her arms around his waist.
“Thank you,Dex. I really don’t know how to thank you,Boo Bear. But just know your baby loves you with her life” Annika said,kind of sobbing again.
It is just too much for someone not to shed tears.
What has she done to be loved and treated this way?
Slowly,Dexter turned her to face him.
“Always have it in mind that your Boo Bear loves you more,and is ready to spoil you with his last dime.
“This,baby,is just the tip of an ice berg. Your Boo Bear is ready to spoil you for as long as he lives” Dexter said,kissing her forehead tenderly.
Annika just found herself smiling all through.
This man here in front of her,makes her feel satisfied,happy and gives her nothing but joy and peace.
She has come to love him more than she could ever imagine.
Your first lover is always your best,they say. But it’s a no for Annika,cos she never felt this way when she was with Roland.
Yes,she also loved Roland,but not as much as she loves Dexter now.
It is just a different kind of feeling.
A feeling of attraction and a strong bond that can never be broken.
It is now clear to her that she cannot live without him. He’s the only one who makes her smile and happy.
Even when they used to fight everytime,that feeling of inner happiness was always there.

“How did it go,sis?” Avery asked Brielle,coming out of her room.
She returned from work not long,and she just had her bath,coming back to the living room to have dinner. But she met Brielle looking all gloomy.
Since the day she lost her job,she’s been looking for another one,but none is available.
“I am so frustrated,Avery. I am tired already,and really don’t know what else to do.
“Why is life being so unfair to me? Mom doesn’t like me,the little job I managed to get,I lost it in less than a month” Brielle said frustratedly,sobbing as a result.
“Stop saying that,Brielle. Life is not always sweet,yunno.
“They are good and bad times, sad and happy times. So,it’s normal for everyone.
“You’ll get a better job than the one you had before, trust me.
“I’ll keep searching too,okay? You’ll definitely find another job.
“And….mom doesn’t h@të you,she’s just acting in a way I don’t understand” Avery said,hugging her sister.
“That’s what you keep saying, Avery. But it’s obvious she doesn’t like me” Brielle sighed, and Avery did same.
“By the way,have you talked to your friend… Have you told her you no longer work in Jay’s boutique?” Avery asked, trying to change the topic.
“Wait, that’s true. You’re right, Avery. I totally forgot to tell Verity” Brielle said,smiling this time and that made Avery really happy.
“This is what I want to be seeing on your face every time, sis. Those cute smiles” Avery giggled, and Brielle smiled more.
“Can we eat now?” Avery asked and Brielle nodded, picking up her fork while Avery did same.
They dug in immediately, devouring the food,talking and laughing as well.

Verity drove into the grocery store where she came to get foods for the house,Dexter’s,to be precise.
They are actually out of some food stuffs,so she came them.
She drove to the parking lot, and parked hers too,making sure not to block anyone.
Beautifully and majestically, she got out of the car.
She walked with a slow gait and got into the store where she began picking what she came for.
“Dexter doesn’t love these,but I love them! Should I just buy them?
“Yea,I can actually make them for myself alone,he does not have to eat them” Verity continued to converse with herself.
Meanwhile,a pair of eyes were staring at her intently,enjoying and loving the way she walked and picked the things she was picking.
He found every d@mn thing she was doing,sweet and interesting.
“Such a beauty” He mumbled, and smiled handsomely.
He also came to buy things from the same store.
Though,he came in after Verity,and she isn’t even aware someone is at a corner staring and admiring her.

One of the security guards helped her in parking the things,since they were too much for her to carry alone.
When they got to where she parked, she noticed someone has parked and blocked her.
“Who the hell did this!? Doesn’t he or she have eyes?
“How hard is it to use your eyes right. Humph! This is annoying, I need to go home!” Verity said,stamping her foot angrily.
“Hey…can you call whoever parked this,to come park well? I need to leave, I’m tired” She frustratedly said.
“I’m sorry for the inconveniences, ma. I’ll go get the person right away” The guard apologized and went in immediately.
“How can someone have eyes and cannot make good use of them?” She asked no one in particular,leaning on the other side of the car.
After like two minutes, the guard and the person who blocked her,came from the other side.
“He’s here,ma,to get his car out of the way” The guard said to Verity who is angry already.

The rest of the words remained in her mouth, when she saw the god before him.
He flashed a smile handsomely at her,and her heart almost melted.
“Hey….I’m Nike. Sorry I blocked your way out”He smiled again.
“OMG!!” Verity exclaimed within herself.
