“What!!!” Robert stood up and banged the table thunderously. Some of the glasses and plates fell off,breaking instantly as a result.
“What the heck!” Dexter exclaimed in total shock, his mouth in agape,Annika wasn’t left behind,and Janice?
“Oh…my world! What did I just hear? You’re not….my goodness!” She exclaimed loudly, as she stares at Roland like a criminal.
“What the hell did you just say?” Robert furiously asked like he didn’t hear what Roland just said,clearly. His eyes were red already,which means he’s super angry.
His anger right now,can boil a bag of beans.
He knew it!
He knew it right from the beginning that he wasn’t responsible for that pregnancy,but his parents never listened to him.
Oh! He gets it now.
Now he gets why Victoria was always hovering,and throwing herself at him like a fly looking for rotten meat to devour.
Now he gets why she always looked for ways to make him sleep with her.
And the day he was so drunk all of a sudden?
Robert loved to drink,but he was never one who would drink till he gets drunk.
So,Victoria had all these,planned?
“You’re not my son,huh?” Robert chuckled like a crazy person.
Roland kept mute,without knowing what to say.
Even if he knew what to say,he wouldn’t dare utter it out,as that might aggravate the already bad situation.
He’s so hopeless right now,and looks really pitiful.
Imagine waking up one morning to the news that,the man you’ve known your whole life,same man you call your father(dad) spent,and shared everything together,both good times and bad times.
Then,all of a sudden,someone tells you he’s not your father,not just that,but that you don’t have a father at all.
You’re a bastard!
It hurts so much,right?
Now,if this is how Roland feels.
What is Robert who has raised someone else’s child for a whole twenty three years,feeling right now.
He’s totally going insane,and if not stopped,he might do something very crazy.
“You mean,I raised someone else’s child?” He asked,angrily staring at Roland whose face was down in embarrassment,dejection,rejection,regrets…..just name them all.
“Answer me!!” Robert thundered,giving the table another loud bang, and Roland shuddered due the the bang.
“I’m sorry” Was all Roland could say.
But,how is this even his fault? He wasn’t the one who asked his mom to start selling her body for money.
It isn’t his fault that she became pregnant with him,in the process.
Maybe it’d have been better if he kept quiet and never said the truth.
It would have been better if he just kept it cool,and continue being good,after all,they were starting to like him already.
He should have just kept quiet!
But,what would have been the outcome if Robert found out about the truth,himself?
Of course it wouldn’t be funny. It’d be worst than this.
Robert suddenly ran upstairs,dashing into their room like a måd man.
Seconds later,he came out with a gun. Everyone gasped,on seeing that.
Roland sprang up instantly when he saw the gun,and started praying for his dear life.
So,this is how his life is going to end?
“Dad!! What the hell are you holding,and what do you think you’re doing?” Dexter yelled seriously,holding Annika to his side.
If he knew things were going to be like this,he wouldn’t have brought Annika with him.
“Robert!! Are you insane! Where in the d@mn world did you get that gun from?
“This has been in the house,our room and I had no idea?
“Are you a killer now? Just stop this nonsense you think you’re doing.
Stop it,stop,stop,stop,Robert!” Janice broke down in tears.
“Stop it? I won’t stop until I make sure she’s dead!” Robert swore,seriously.
Hearing that,Roland calmed a bit. At least, the gun isn’t for him.
But, his mom’s life’s in danger right now.
She may be the cause of this shenanigan,but she’s still his mom. And as it stands, she’s the only one he’s got. Cos judging from how Robert is acting, it’s obvious he’s not going to even look at his face anymore.
“Have you forgotten what this Sh|t did to me? Have you forgotten my parents almost disowned me?
“Forgotten they almost took away everything from me,if not for your sake.
“They called me a womanizer,a cheating husband,even when they knew their son wasn’t one.
“Have you forgotten what that pregnancy caused me,Janice!?” Robert shouted loudly,and Janice just couldn’t stop crying.
Yes,she remembers everything. The news hit her hard that period.
They were just two years in their marriage,and Dexter was about celebrating his one year birthday,when the news of Robert impregnating another woman spread like wild fire,in the entire family.
Though,she trusted,and believed him. But,it was crazy,so crazy that Janice never stopped crying.
Robert was starting to shed tears already while saying all that.
With tears in his eyes,he briskly walked to the door,with the gun still in his hand.
“No! Stop him,Dexter!” Janice cried out.
“Dad,please!” Both Dexter and Roland said at a time,and ran after him.
They got outside and managed to collect the gun from him. Dexter then brought the gun back into the house.
“Stay with mom,Baby. I’ll be back,okay?” Dexter said,gave her a short kiss and left instantly.
^^ANGELES MESA>>VICTORIA’S HOME
“I will do anything,anything at all to keep that secret.
How can I let what I have worked so hard for,crumble just like that.
“I have come a long way,and it wasn’t easy for me to get all these. I won’t let anyone,not even Roland my son,to ruin everything for me.
“I am getting rid of him before he tells everyone the truth,he has to get out of the way” Victoria smiled evilly.
She just got back from where she went to.
The person Dexter saw near the ice cream shop was actually Victoria,and she was talking to the masked guy,planning on how to eliminate Roland for good.
If he cannot support his own mother then,he’s not worthy to be her son.
Wh@tëver he wants to tell Robert must remain unsaid.

What a wicked mother,planning evil against her own son,that she bore with pains!
Victoria was taking stride steps,walking herself up the stairs. She was just about getting to the last step when her door flung open,revealing an enraging Robert,Dexter,Roland and the cops.
“Sh|t! How the hell did I forget to lock the door?” She cursed inwardly,biting her lips hard.
Victoria was sweating already,her heart pulsating faster than the flaps of a humming bird.
This can’t be happening! No,no,no! This definitely has to be a dream she needs to wake up from.
“Do not move,or we’ll shoot!” The cops threatened,as their guns were pointed directly on her.
Victoria already knows what this means,and she’s definitely not ready to go to jail.
Right now,she doesn’t know what to do. She’s as confused as a goat left to choose between salt and yam.
The only thing running through her mind right now,is to run. Run,run,run as fast as she can!
But,the cops ordered her not to move an inch.
Well,she doesn’t care about that right now,all she wants to do,is to run for her dear life.
And like play,Victoria dashed into her already opened room,running away from the cops.
“Stop!” The cops ordered,following her immediately,but she never did.
When she got to the room,she began thinking of what to do.
She thought of hiding in her closet,but of course they are going to find her so easily.
Then,where in the world is she going to hide?
This is the toughest situation she has ever found herself in.
She has never imagined this day would come,but it has,now. Her life is about to shatter just within the blink of an eye.
“Think fast!” She yelled at herself,pacing around.
While she thought of what to do,her eyes suddenly darted to the window,and an idea popped in her head instantly.
And that idea is to jump down,and run away!
Without wasting time,she headed straight for it,climbing without thinking twice.
Victoria has completely lost it. She has let her greed for wealth get the better part of her. So much that she doesn’t think anymore,before doing anything.
Cos,how can a normal human being in his,or her right sense jump down a high building?
Well,Victoria doesn’t care,all she wants,is to escape this nightmare.
The cops and everyone else finally entered and saw the crazy thing she’s about to do.
“Mom,don’t please!” Roland pleaded,so scared for his mom’s life.
On a second thought,Victoria wanted to stop what she was about doing.
Looking down,and seeing how far it is down there,she wanted to give up.
But,luck was not on her side,it was too late. She tried to come down,but slipped instead,and there,she went falling.
“Noooo!” She screamed,as she slowly went down the building,and….
“Bam!!” Victoria landed on the ground.
“No,no,moom!!” Roland screamed his lungs out,running out of the room in a swift.
He flew down the stairs like a plane,rushing out to where his mom laid lifelessly.
There was blood on the ground already,spread everywhere.
“No….no,no,no!” Roland shook her,but she made no move. She was lying there like a log of wood.
Victoria is dèad!
She stopped breathing the moment she landed on the ground.
And the next thing that happened,was a splutter of blood. Cos,where she landed on,had pointy steel rods. Her house is new,and so,still had things they were working on.
The rods pierced through her body,when she landed on them,and she d!ed instantly.
“Mom,talk to me,please. Open your eyes,and talk! Have you seen what you’ve caused yourself? Have you seen?!!” Roland cried sorrowfully.
When Dexter and the rest got out,they couldn’t even look at the scene before them.
It was horrific,not a sight to behold at all.
All Robert was doing,was folding his arms,and shaking his head.
Victoria did something unforgivable,but her déath is too gruesome. He was måd at her,but he never wished her déath,though,he swore to see her dèad.
But,he never meant what he said,it was said out of anger. She was once his wife,yunno. And she bore him a son,even though he turned out not his.
^^ROBERT KLEIN’S MANSION>>NIGHT
“Mom,I’m so scared. I am really really scared,what if something bad has happened? Do you think they are okay?
“I’ve called Dexter severally, but he isn’t picking! Are you sure he’s okay?” Annika paced around, as neither of them was back,nor picking. She’s so worried about Dexter, worried about everyone, but most especially, her Boo Bear.
Janice has been calling Robert too,but same thing is happening,and that is getting her more worried.
“Be calm,my darling. I trust everything is okay,believe me” Janice said. She stopped crying a while ago,after Annika begged her,unrelentingly.
“Come sit down” She further said,and Annika did just that.
She sat beside Janice, and she made her rest her head on her shoulder.
Janice started running her hands in her hair,soothingly, trying to make her feel calm.
“Stop bothering yourself, Dexter and everyone else is fine,okay?” She said,and Annika nodded like a baby.
Janice’s phone started ringing that very moment, while still trying to pacify Annika.
She checked the caller and saw that is was Robert,she didn’t hesitate to pick up.
“Victoria is dèad” Was the first thing Robert said,when Janice picked.
“What! How did that happen? Wait,I hope you…
“I did nothing. She kìlled herself gruesomely” Robert cut in immediately,as Janice was starting to think he has a hand in it.
“What happened?” Annika raised her head off Janice’s shoulder when she heard that.
For the some,Janice couldn’t close her mouth,it remained in agape.
“Roland’s mom is dèad,she kìlled herself” She blurted, and Annika gasped,holding her mouth.

The place is crowded now,and police sirens can be loudly heard.
The ambulance just arrived to take her horrific body away.
Roland has been shedding tears none stop.
He’s alone now,with no one to call a father or a mother.
Now,the real definition of him being a bastard has been well defined. He’s a complete bastard now!
Someone whom he’d have started a new life with,when Robert finally takes everything that belongs to him,but here he is,hopeless and with no future.
He cannot believe her mom has left her so soon,this the worst day of his day.
He has never experienced such pains before, but no he knows what pain is.
“Mom,no! Please wake up!!!” He cried.
Dexter couldn’t hold back the tears, seeing his brother in that state.
Yes! His brother. He doesn’t care if Roland is his biological brother or not,all he knows is that, Roland is his brother, and always will be.
They’ve spent their whole lives together, even though it was more of fights, hatreds and the sort,but he’s still his little bro,and nothing can change that.
He walked to Roland and placed a hand on his shoulder, tapping him gently, as he whispered kind words to his ears.
“Take it easy, bro. Everything will be fine,I’m so sorry for your lost. It is not easy,but you have to be stay strong” Dexter consoled him.
“Sh|t! This is a total mess” Dexter said inwardly, rubbing his face roughly, as though it is the cause of everything.
Victoria’s body was finally taken away. Roland’s eyes were fixed on the ambulance, till it completely went out of sight.
He felt like following them,but he just had to control himself. He’s a man,after all,he has to be stay strong just like Dexter said.
^^ROLAND’S MANSION^^
After crying his eyes out,they finally left there, returning home to his own place, that will soon be taken away from him.
Dexter had to come drop him because of the state he’s in right now.
“I’m sorry” Dexter said again,for the hundredth time.
Roland only nodded and got out of the car.
Though, Robert wasn’t really giving him that fatherly attitude, but he wouldn’t deny the fact that Roland is hurt,and all he needs right now,is love.
So,he tried his best in consoling him,in the best way he could.
“Take care of yourself, and don’t do anything stupid” Dexter said,and he managed to smile.
He would have said” I won’t” but,his heart is not having it at all. He even finds it difficult to speak.
Both Dexter and his dad stayed and watched him leave in sorrow.
As if what just happened to his mom some minutes ago wasn’t enough.
A tumultuous and scary gunshot could be heard,and the next thing that Dexter and Robert saw dropping down,was Roland.
“What in the world? What the hell am I seeing?
“Roland!!!!!” Both Robert and Dexter screamed, jumping out of the car.
“Roland,Roland….no!
“Hey….hey,bro. You’ll be fine,I promise you’re gonna be fine” Dexter said,slapping his cheeks gently.
His eyes were closing slowly already, and Robert couldn’t believe what he’s seeing.
“Who the hell shot him?!!” He thundered, kneeling beside bleeding Roland.
“Son,look at me. Hey! Stop trying to close your eyes,I know you’re okay. Open your eyes and look at your father!” Robert shouted.
“I’m sorry, dad. I love you,bro…” Were the only things he said,before shutting his eyes completely.
“Roland? Ro….Rolaaaaand!!!!
