NEXT MORNING★KING’S CHAMBER**
“We didn’t see each other yesterday” Lucian said
“You are the busy one” Liam replied
“You didn’t leave the palace? Is that a joke?” King Lucian scoffed
Liam grinned and immediately sat down beside him
“Do you know all the minister’s daughters?” He asked and Lucian raised his brows
“Yes I do”
“Great,I met one of them recently and it’s kind of crazy” Liam chuckled
“Don’t tell me you fell in love with…..”
“Not at all,I don’t think I should take it as love yet but I find her really interesting” Liam replied
“Who? Which one?” King Lucian asked
“Amara”
“Oh,the eldest” Lucian muttered
“She’s really pretty,so pretty” Liam said dreamily and Lucian laughed out
“Seriously??”
“Are you mocking me???” Liam frowned
“Does she know who you are?”
“No,I didn’t tell her anything. I only told her I live outside here,she have no idea if I’m a prince” Liam replied with a smile
“Wow” Lucian mouthed

Adelaide watched as Nadia and the other maids arranged the meals on the table,she was doing nothing than supervising them. Nadia on the other hand wouldn’t stop glaring at Adelaide.
“We are done” the maids said
“You can go,I will call the king” Adelaide replied
The maids started going out,Nadia also followed,her shoulder pushed Adelaide out of the way and she staggered
‘Will she ever change?’ Adelaide said inwardly.
She left the dinning and walked to the lounge where King Lucian and Liam are
“Your Majesty,please come and eat” She said with a bow
Liam stood up first
“Thank you” he winked at Adelaide and left
Lucian chuckled and also stood up,Adelaide followed them.

KITCHEN**
Eleanor was alone,washing the many dishes by herself. She was looking tired already,she wipe her hand and repack her hair before she continued.
“Do you need my help?” The familia voice asked and she immediately turned to see Kai coming in
“Kai” she called with a smile
“I see you’re tired,let me help” Kai muttered and immediately raised his shirt up
“Thank you” Eleanor smiled and he winked at her
“I still find it hard to believe that you actually came here all because of Adel” She laughed a little
“Well” Kai also chuckled
“But,is your father aware?…”
“Of course not,you think I would be here if he was aware? Geez” Kai said and laughed
“I wonder why Adelaide isn’t out of the king’s chamber yet,maybe he told her not to come out. Now I’m missing her face” Eleanor said
“She really graduated so fast to become the king’s maid,well I’m not surprised. I guess he was mesmerized by her beauty,but he better take his eyes off her” Kai scoffed and Eleanor laughed
“Are you serious right now?” She asked amidst laughter
“I’m dead serious,I wouldn’t care if he’s the king or not” Kai said in a whisper and Eleanor laughed more
“You’re crazy Kai” She said
“What’s going on here?” Esmeralda entered and they both turned their heads to her direction
“Washing dishes” Eleanor replied
“So you lured a guard to help you?” Esmeralda snapped looking pissed
“What do you mean by lure? You’re making me laugh,as you can see I decided to help her on my own..but..lure?” Kai chuckled and Esmeralda frowned
“Kai..that’s enough you can go now” Eleanor muttered
“But….”
“I can do the rest on my own,let’s talk later,okay?” Eleanor cut in
“Fine” Kai muttered and wiped his hands before turning to Esmeralda,he gave her a long glare before walking out of the kitchen
Esmeralda roll her eyes at Eleanor and went out
“What is her problem?” Eleanor scoffed and continue washing
Thanks to Kai,most of the works was done already.

As Kai left the kitchen side,Nadia stopped right in front of him and he furrowed his brows
“What is it?” He asked
“Hey pretty boy,what’s your name?” Nadia asked and smiled at him
“And why should I tell you my name?” Kai asked with a little frown
“I just want us to be friends,because you’re pretty” Nadia said in a lower tone and touched his shirt
Kai chuckled
“Seriously? I didn’t know maids can be a slut at the same time” he said and Nadia’s eyes widened
“I’m not a slut!” She snapped
“Who cares?” Kai scoffed and walked out of her sight
She immediately turned,looking at him angrily
“How dare he call me a slut?” She fold her fist
‘But I don’t care,I will definitely have you no matter what’ she thought and smiled
“Seems you’re having problems with the palace maids” Colton,Kai’s room mate and also the second in command jogged to him
“Seriously it’s annoying,why can’t they rest? Wait,am I that handsome?” Kai asked
“What do you mean? Of course you’re handsome” Colton chuckled

MATILDA’S SUITE**
Matilda kept on pacing around angrily,her robe making noise as they followed her moves
“How can he be treating me this way? Just because of that little witch?? How?!” She shouted
All she could think of was how to get rid of Adelaide,no matter what
“I’m going to make you regret ever coming into this palace,I will make you regret ever making the king notice you!”
The door opened and Esmeralda came in
“My lady….”
“I want to be alone!!! Leave me!” Matilda yelled at her and she immediately went out

NOON★KING’S CHAMBER**
Adelaide entered and it was quiet and empty
“Is the king not in?” She muttered
Carl came out from a room and she stopped
“Are you here for the king?” Carl asked and she immediately nodded
“Come with me” Carl said and took her to a room before going back
Adelaide went deeper into the room,it seems like an artist workroom,filled with different beautiful paintings
“Wow” she muttered
She stopped when she saw King Lucian busy with a new paint,he seems to be so engrossed that he didn’t notice her.
She was able to stare at him for a long time,he was really young,handsome and so cute to look at. His hair which was styled on one side,his bright eyes which look so serious at the moment and she could imagine his lips in her head,so cute,He’s just too pretty to be a king.
Her stare was short lived when she suddenly sneezed.
Lucian turned back immediately
“Good afternoon your majesty” She bowed
King Lucian replied with a nod,staring at her for a minute before turning back to continue his painting
Adelaide walked closer
“You’re really amazing your majesty,I didn’t know you paint” She said staring at the one he just started
“Full moon sky?” She asked and Lucian stopped
“How did you know when I’m just starting?” He asked and Adelaide smiled
“I’m really smart as you can see” She said and placed her palms on her cheeks cutely
Lucian smiled,staring at her full face figure
“Pretty” He muttered before turning back to the board
“Well I have a talent too” Adelaide said
“What talent?”
“Dancing” Adelaide said and chuckled
“Really?”
She nodded
“But I only dance when I’m alone” She immediately added and King Lucian laughed
“So what if I want you to dance for me?” He asked
“I won’t”
“Really? You’re going to turn me down?”
“I will just think about it your majesty” She bowed
“You’re something else” Lucian said and dropped the painting brush
“You’re not going to continue?” Adelaide asked
“You made me loose focus” King Lucian said
“Oh,I’m sorry. I will just leave….”
“Don’t move” He ordered immediately and Adelaide stopped
Lucian washed his hands and faced her back
Their eyes met
Adelaide quickly turned away and started checking out the paintings
Lucian sat down,watching her every steps
“Oh my goodness!! Your majesty!” Adelaide grabbed one of the paintings on the floor
It’s a painting of a young beautiful lady
“Did you paint this too?” She asked
King Lucian nodded slowly
“Really?? Who is she? She’s really beautiful….”
“Drop it” Lucian said
“Why?? She’s pretty” Adelaide muttered
“She’s not someone you should know,I am going to dispose it” King Lucian said
Adelaide looked at him and he could see a little sadness in his eyes
‘Who is she?’ She thought and gently dropped the painting
After that,it became silent. It was as If he was lost in thought,staring into the space
Adelaide bite her lips
‘Did I spoil the mood? What should I do?’ She thought inwardly and looked around.
“My king” She called and Lucian looked at her
She sighed and started walking closer to him
His eyes piercing Into her body,the look in his eyes on her was something else that she could not understand why she felt so hot at that moment,she suddenly felt nervous that she lost count of her steps.
She lost her balance as soon as she got to him and she landed on the king’s laps,her hands around his neck
She quickly made to get up but stopped when Lucian’s hands moved to her waist
She maintained eyes contacts with him and suddenly she bite her bottom lip
Instantly Lucian could feel his sense running out of his skull
He didn’t know when he grabbed her waist and pulled her even more closer before he slammed his lips against her pretty tempting lips.
