Adelaide was shocked and at the same time confused,she swallowed while staring into the King’s eyes.
“What do you mean my king?” She got her voice back and asked
Lucian kissed her neck and her eyes went shut immediately
“My…. king” She stuttered and King Lucian stopped
“I’m….sorry,I can’t” She said
“I’m just a maid,I don’t want to cause any trouble. I’m sorry” She added
Lucian chuckled and moved away from her
“The rain is no longer heavy,you can go and get changed” he said
“But,what about you?”
“Don’t worry about me,you can go” Lucian said
“Goodnight your majesty” Adelaide bowed and king Lucian nodded,watching her as she walked out.

MINISTER’S HOUSE**
“Please let me take my daughters with me,or you can just keep me here instead and let them go please” Zoey said in tears as she pleaded on her knees
“And why should I release them? They are not done with the punishments yet” Lucia said and roll her eyes
“Please my lady,I’m sure they’ve learnt their lessons please” She cried and touched Lucia’s legs
“Don’t touch me!” Lucia yelled and kicked her away
“I’m sorry my lady”
“What’s going on here?” Amara walked to the scene and Lucia rolled her eyes
“My lady,please help me” Zoey moved to Amara immediately
“Lucia,what have you done this time?” Amara asked looking angry
“Just teaching some commoners a lesson they will never forget” Lucia grinned
“What?!” Amara’s eyes widened
“My daughters,please” Zoey cried
“Go bring her daughters right now!” Amara ordered the guards standing
“Yes my lady” They said at once and ran off
“Big sis,this is my business not yours….”
“Shut up!! Do you want to spoil father’s reputation? How dare you!” Amara yelled angrily
Lucia shot her a glare before walking away
Soon,Luna and Aria were brought. They had bruises all over their bodies
“Mother!” Luna ran to Zoey in tears
Zoey immediately hugged them both
“Thank you my lady” Zoey said
“It’s okay” Amara smiled before walking away

In atypical house,one of the deities,the first deity was busy weaving some beautiful florets together.
She suddenly stood up as if she got a strange feeling,she walked to the window and opened it. The rain was still pouring so heavily and the wind was blowing in an unusual way…
All of a sudden,a dark smoke from nowhere came through the window and stopped right in front of her.
The deity turned at once in a calm manner
“Who are you?” She asked and immediately the smoke turned into an evil witch. It has a body of a woman,her face was looking so hideous and scary while her skin was wrinkled beyond recognition and she had some facial hair which was as hard as brooms,her eyes are made of bright green lights.
“Ubel” The deity called out and the witch laughed out loudly
“I’m sure you can feel it already” Ubel said and the deity kept quiet
“The mistress is going to conceive and birth the heir” She continued
“That should never happen,she’s not fated to birth the heir,the land will be cursed!” The deity shouted and Ubel laughed
“What do you think I love? Curses” she said and laughed again
“You should stop now before it gets too late Ubel,you won’t be able to save yourself when the time comes”
“I will make sure the mistress regret ever going against my word” The third deity appeared into the room and grabbed Ubel’s neck without any warning with her invisible power and Ubel hanged In the air
“Release it” The first deity said
“Why should I? This is an abomination,you know what will happen if the mistress birth the King’s child,it’s a curse” The third deity said
“It won’t work this way” The first deity said
Ubel turned into a smoke and started moving round the room
“I will protect the mistress from now on,,you made your choice by choosing the next empress. But I made mine and that’s the mistress,I will make sure her foetus is saved no matter what” Ubel said and laughed before going out through the window again flying all the way through the woods until it got to the palace.
The evil smoke found it’s way into the maids quarter and went into one of the rooms,three maids were fast asleep. The smoke rotated a bit before entering into one of them

A WEEK AFTER★NIGHT**
“My lady,what is wrong? Are you sick? You’ve refused to eat your meals since morning,,I’m so worried my lady” Esmeralda said with a sad look
“I have no appetite,I think I need a little rest” Matilda muttered
“You might need the royal healer my lady….”
“I’m fine Esmeralda” Matilda stood up
Almost immediately she felt a sudden urge and she ran off,Esmeralda followed her and found her throwing up.
Her eyes went wide immediately
