“Your Highness!” The guards bowed immediately and Adelaide’s eyes widened
It’s King Lucian!! This is her first time seeing the king for real
“Good evening My king” Adelaide also bowed
“What is happening here?” King Lucian aside
“Your Highness,she’s trying to force her way into the palace” One of the guards answered
“That’s not true my king,I am here to apply for the maid’s post’ Adelaide said
“There’s nothing like that going on in the palace your Highness” Another guard immediately spoke up
“Still,you shouldn’t handle a lady like this” Lucian said and Adelaide looked up
Really?? He’s not going to shout at her??
She was still thinking when the head maid,Maggie, walked to the scene
“Your Highness,I will take care of this” She bowed and King Lucian turned to her
“Are you looking for new maids in the palace?” He asked her
“Yes my king,But,I’m surprised she’s here this evening” Maggie said
Just then,Two guards came in,both holding Princess Lisa who was looking drunk.
Adelaide moved out of the way
“Where did you get her? The brothel again?” King Lucian asked,looking at Lisa
“Yes Your majesty!”
“Brother,I love you so much,I swear….” Lisa grinned drunkenly and Lucian sighed
“Take her to her suite” he ordered and the guards started leaving
“Brother!! You keep getting handsome….” Lisa continued saying rubbish until she was taken away
King Lucian turned and walked away,Carl followed immediately
The head maid turned to Adelaide
“You should leave,come back tomorrow by six. That is when your test will start” Maggie said and Adelaide’s eyes widened
“I….I should….go and…come back tomorrow morning?” She asked
“If you’re late by a minute,you’re out” Maggie said blankly and walked away before Adelaide could ask more questions
The guards turned to her
“Hey don’t touch me,I am leaving already” she rolled her eyes and walked out of the palace

PRINCESS LISA’S SUITE**
“How dare you!!! How could you escape even after the king’s warning??!! Where is your sense for goodness sake!!” Queen Sofia yelled at Lisa angrily
“Why is it so wrong to be free? Why can’t I just live my life the way I want?? Why?!” Lisa shouted
Queen Sophia raised her hand immediately ready to slap the Füçk out of her face
“That’s enough mother” Lucian entered and queen Sophia turned
“I need to teach this silly daughter of mine a lesson” She said
“You can go,I will take care of it” King Lucian said
Queen Sophia glared at Lisa angrily once more before walking out of the suite
Lisa was already in tears
“She h@tës me….she really h@të me alot” She mumbled,wiping her tears
“Don’t expect me to hug you or something” Lucian said and Lisa looked at him
“Seriously brother? You too?” She asked
“When will you ever change Lisa,when?? I know you want to be free,but is this the kind of freedom you want? Going to brothels,dressing this way,getting drunk and all that…I guess I’ve said enough but it’s like you made your choice already..”
“What…what are you saying?” Lisa asked with a shaking voice
“I’m going to let you be from now on,I won’t meddle with your life anymore since you don’t consider me as your brother….”
“No brother,don’t do that. I know you care about me…”
“Not anymore,you are free to do wh@tëver you want from now on. I won’t care” King Lucian said and started walking toward the door
“I will change!!” Lisa shouted immediately and ran to hug him
“I promise I will change,so don’t stop caring about me brother. I will just die,you know I love you so much” She said in tears
Lucian turned and faced her
“You’ve promised me more than enough,but you always end up breaking them so I am no longer moved with this tears of yours. Goodnight” He said and left
Lisa broke into tears and fell on the bed
She may not care about their mother’s words but she love her brother a lot,if he’s never going to care about her wellbeing,she knew he meant it that way and she will be the one to get hurt.

Adelaide was still walking,she was so weak and tired.
“I still can’t believe that strange woman,how can she abandon me now when I’m about to die? I’m so weak,I can’t walk anymore” She said to herself almost breaking into tears,and to think about it,Zoey will almost kill her if she ever go back to that house this night.
“You shouldn’t be the type who give up easily” The familia voice suddenly said beside her and she flinched before turning to see one of the three women she met earlier
That was she noticed fully,the three have the same face obviously but their styles,expressions and outfits are extremely different.
The first one she met looked like a complete innocent woman who smiled at her even when she almost fell her down,the second one kinda look younger than the other two but still the same face,and then the last one who led her to the palace was looking more like someone with a cold heart. She was even more scared of the third one than the first two.
Now the one beside her right now is the one with the beautiful smile
“I’m not giving up,but can I at least know why I must be in the palace?” Adelaide asked
“If you want to keep living with your step family,then you can make your choice” The woman smiled and Adelaide thought for a while
“No,I don’t want to. I’ve been looking for different ways to escape anyway” She muttered sadly
“Then,move to the palace”
“Can you tell me who you are and why you keep changing?” Adelaide asked
“No,the other two are my sisters”
Adelaide’s eyes widened
“Your sisters?? But..who are you??”
“Humans call us the three deities” She smiled and Adelaide immediately moved back in fear
“One,the creator,two,the preserver and three,the destroyer. But lucky you..you met the three of us in a day,that shows how special you are”
“Which…one are you?” Adelaide managed to ask
” I am the first Deity,the creator”
Adelaide blinked her eyes twice looking speechless
“You said your third sister Is a destroyer,,why did she appear to me?” She asked
“Don’t worry,she only destroy evil spirits”
“We show ourselves to people we want to,not everyone is allowed to see us Adelaide. This is why you must not give up,coz your fate is in the palace. No matter what you face in there,it’s your fate and you can never escape from it,when you get home,don’t allow anyone touch you or hurt you,protect yourself,just for the last time” The deity smiled and vanished into the air
“Ahh!’ Adelaide screamed and fell on the ground
But was shocked when she met herself right in front of Zoey’s house
“Thank goodness” She immediately got up and the fear gripped her again
But she remembered what the deity said”don’t allow them hurt you”
She breathe in and out before going in,and as expected Zoey and her children are waiting for her already.
Luna and Aria were the first to get up,
“Where are you coming from you ugly duck!” Luna yelled
Adelaide said nothing
“How dare you starve my children??” Zoey stood up,walking to Adelaide with the whip
“Don’t touch me if you love your life Zoey” Adelaide said and it even shocked her that she said that but strangely she wasn’t scared
“What?!!” Luna and Aria shouted
“What did you just say?” Zoey asked
“I said what I said,goodnight” Adelaide said and walked in, leaving them in total shock and confusion
“Do you think she’s possessed?” Luna asked
“I think so,we should be careful” Aria muttered
