PALACE FIELD**
“Who is that Maid you saved from Yasmin earlier?” Liam asked as he walked beside King Lucian. Carl and Liam’s guard,Jimmy also following them from the back
Liam and Lucian are childhood best friends,Liam is also a prince from another kingdom,Dira Kingdom.The crown prince to be precised,Lucian had to become the king at an early age because his father died and he had no choice than to take over,it wasn’t easy at first,he was only twenty two,but then he started adjusting to the life as a king.
Anytime he’s around Lucian,he get the opportunity to act like his normal self and not the king of Suidan,the best feeling ever
“What about her?” Lucian asked
“I’m just wondering why you saved her…”
“That was the right thing to do,Yasmin really doesn’t have any right to hurt her. And talking about the maid,I really have no idea,she’s just one of the numerous palace maids” King Lucian said and Liam nodded
“I guess so,I don’t even know the numbers of maids we have in the palace,I get tired of it sometimes” He muttered and Lucian smiled.
“Oh…That’s Tucker and Marsha over there” Liam pointed to the two horses at the other end of the field.
The big white one which is extremely spotless belongs to Lucian which he named Tucker, while the Big black horse called Marsha belongs to Liam.
He had left Marsha behind the last time he came here because he developed a leg injury
“Good afternoon your majesty” The keeper,Dane immediately bowed to the two of them as they got there
“I guess you love it here” Liam smiled,rubbing the horse’s body.
King Lucian took some grass from Dane and fed Tucker from his hand
“Good boy” Lucian smiled cutely as he touched the horse’s head
“Mind having a race before I leave?” Liam asked
“You’re returning to Dira today?” King Lucian asked
“Yes,I have alot of things to do. I only came here because I miss my buddy” Liam said and Lucian chuckled
“Let’s do this” He muttered and got on Tucker at once
He made an excited Neigh sound as Lucian climbed on him
Liam also climbed on his own before turning to Dane
“Sound from your whistle and we will start” Liam said
“Okay Your majesty” Dane nodded
“You look so sure as if you’re going to win” Lucian scoffed and Liam laughed
“I won’t say a word,let’s do this race first” Liam said
Suddenly the sound of the whistle came and they both took off at a time.
“Tucker is surely crazy for not running since a while now” Carl chuckled,watching as Tucker kept running as if he was going to fly
“I guess Marsha is also healthy now” Jimmy said
In few minutes they already ran a lap round the field and Lucian won
“I knew it” Carl clapped
Lucian and Liam both got down from the horse and exchange glances
“You should respect your elders Liam,I’m not your mate” Lucian teased and Liam laughed
“Yes I should” He said
“I guess it’s time to leave now” Liam added and Lucian nodded
“Good to have you here again” he said
They had a quick hug and Liam called Jimmy
“I’m going to leave Marsha here,tomorrow the palace guards will come for him” Liam said and Lucian nodded
Soon Liam left with Jimmy
“Your majesty,is there anything you want me to do?” Carl asked as they started walking back
“What am I doing tomorrow? Seems today’s rest is weird” Lucian said and Carl smiled
“You’re right,you will be greatly occupied tomorrow” Carl said
“Then give me the lists of everything tonight,and don’t tell me I have a meeting with the council tomorrow” King Lucian said
“Yes your…..”
“Cancel it,I’m not in the mood for that tomorrow. Inform them all to wait till I decide another date for it” King Lucian ordered
“I will, your majesty” Carl said
“You can go for now,I will like to be alone” Lucian said when they got close to the chamber
Carl immediately bowed and King Lucian went in

MAIDS QUARTER**
Adelaide arranged her things into the closet as directed,unfortunately for her,Eleanor didn’t end up as her room mate and to think about it,her two room mates seems to h@të her at first sight. They kept on giving her angry glares and she wonder why
After she was done packing,she turned to walk out of the room when she heard her room mates whispering
? Am I the only one who h@të her?
? I can’t forget how the king supported her over lady Yasmin
? Who does she think she is?
? Does she even know that palace maids are not allowed to leave their hair like that?
? So annoying
Adelaide bite her lips and walked out of the room gently,she began tying up her hair as she walked making it into a tight bun to avoid displaying the hair length.
She was still doing that when a finger landed on her forehead
“Don’t bump into me” The soft voice said and Adelaide looked up
Lisa gasped but Adelaide was still trying to remember where she saw the girl in front of her,when she remembered it was the princess who was brought home last night,she bowed
“I’m sorry my princess” Adelaide said hoping she’s not in another trouble
Lisa smiled
“Raise your head doll” She said and Adelaide looked up
“Are you new here? It’s my first time seeing you…wait I don’t even know any maid” Lisa chuckled and fan herself with her hand
“I’m new here my princess” Adelaide said
“Then you should watch where you’re going next time to avoid some witches here” Lisa winked at her before walking away
“Witches?” Adelaide muttered and immediately turned to look at Lisa again but she was already gone
“She look so young,is she my agemate?” Adelaide asked herself before walking away
