WEEKS LATER★SUIDAN PALACE^7PM**
The palace was well decorated with different colorful ornaments,beautiful light bulbs all around,roses of flowers with amazing smell.
The whole place look entirely different,aside from the fact that the palace is so filled up.
Different royal guests are in the palace guest rooms,princesses,princes,kings and queens.
Everyone seems to be busy with one thing or the other,especially the maids. Court lady Maggie and Head maid are also doing their jobs,directing every single thing happening in the palace. The queen have been busy the whole week attending to the royal guests,King Lucian have been meeting with the kings every single day too for the whole week,He’s so occupied but never seize to make time for Adelaide
Adelaide is yet to meet with the royals,but tonight she’s having a special dinner with the Queens.
In Adelaide’s suite,her maids are dressing her up making sure they give her the best taste up to her satisfaction,she was dressed like a complete royal. Her light makeup look so heavenly,her dress smells like wealth and royalty. Her hair was packed into an amazing style with royal beads all over it,she smell of sweet fragrance and oil. Her baby bump is beginning to come out,though it’s really almost unnoticeable to many people.
“My lady,we are done” Ava said
Adelaide stared at herself for some minutes in the mirror and tears rolled down her eyes
“My lady! What happened?? You don’t like it?” Gemma immediately asked and Adelaide sniffed
“Ever heard of tears of joy?” She asked
“Of course my lady” Mia smiled
“After tomorrow,we are going to acknowledge you as your majesty,no more lady” Ava smiled and Adelaide smiled,staring at herself completely
If anyone would tell her few months back that she will ever step into the palace talk more of becoming the King’s woman,she would have denied it countless times.
TIME FLIES SO FAST INDEED!!!
“You have just ten minutes left before the dinner my lady” Gemma said
Just then,the door opened and King Lucian came in
“Your Majesty!” The maids immediately bowed and ran out
Adelaide got up from the seat and smiled at Lucian,He’s also dressed up for his last meeting and dining with the kings,He’s looking as handsome as always
Adelaide turned around
“How do I look?” She asked
“You’re the most beautiful queen I’ve ever seen” King Lucian said and Adelaide moved closer to him
She gently hugged him
“I feel nervous,I’m going to meet with the Queens for the first time. Do you think I will do well?” Adelaide asked
“You won’t only do well,you will do so great and perfect. You’re the goddess of beauty and nobility remember?” King Lucian asked and Adelaide nodded
“I know” She broke the hug
King Lucian held her cheek
“I can’t wait for tomorrow,you will be mine completely tomorrow. Every part of you will become mine and mine alone” He said
“Me too,you will become mine alone” Adelaide muttered and King Lucian nodded
“Only you” He said and pecked her lips gently trying not to clean off her lips gloss
“Your lips” Adelaide chuckled and wiped it from his lips
“I don’t really like this,after tomorrow don’t use any. I love your lips alone” King Lucian said and Adelaide nodded
“I won’t” She smiled and King Lucian hugged her again
“I love you Adelaide” He muttered
“I love you more Lucian” Adelaide replied
“Your majesty,it’s time” They heard Carl’s voice and they broke the hug
“Let’s walk together,then we can separate on the way” King Lucian said and Adelaide nodded
He held her hand gently and they both walked out of the suite,they got outside and both the King’s guards and Adelaide’s guards and maids followed behind them until they got to the spot where they have to go separately
King Lucian kissed the back of her hand before releasing her
“Be confident and don’t think they are better than you,okay?” He said and Adelaide nodded
He gave her his most charming smile before walking away and the guards followed
“My lady,this way” One of Adelaide’s guards immediately directed and led the way,Adelaide followed and other guards also followed behind her.

THE QUEENS DINING HALL**
The moment Adelaide entered,all eyes fell on her but like she was taught,she carried herself with so much confidence as her eyes roam around the room and the table,checking every queens out. They all look older than her and it’s obvious she’s the youngest of them all.
She walked to the only vacant seat at the center of the table,two guards stood behind her while others waited far from the hall
“Good Evening Everyone,I’m Adelaide and it’s a great honor to be here with you” Adelaide said,smiling just normally before sitting down
“It’s so good to meet you lady Adelaide” One of the Queens said and Adelaide smiled
“You look so beautiful Lady Adelaide” Another one said
“Well I can see it’s the same as the rumors,you’re too young to become the queen” Another one said
“King Lucian is also young” One snapped at her
“It’s not the matter of age,but how intelligent and brave you are to be qualified for a position” Adelaide said and the one who spoke against her rolled her eyes but Adelaide cared less
The table was already set and it’s like she’s the one they were waiting for
“Why don’t we just eat and continue?” One of them suggested and everyone started eating
“So,how did you met the king?” Someone asked and Adelaide looked up
“I heard she was a maid” The same devil replied before Adelaide could talk and it was beginning to piss her off but she was trying to control herself
“Really? Is that true? You were a maid?”
Adelaide nodded
“Does that mean king Lucian didn’t follow the rules of royalties to get married to a princess or a lady from a noble family?” Another question came
“Who are the royalties?” Adelaide asked after the silence
“What do you mean? We are the royalties,the king comes first and then we follow” someone answered
“Then the royals make the rules right?” Adelaide asked and they nodded
“Since King Lucian is part of the royals,he has every right to make his own rules and as the future queen,I’m going to follow the same steps,supporting his rules. A king doesn’t have to get married to a princess,I hope that rules get canceled completely one day” Adelaide said
“Are you saying the royals are fools?” The witch asked
“No I didn’t,but if you think that’s it then so be it” Adelaide smirked
“Well,I agree with Adelaide,and I won’t force my son to get married to a princess,I will rather let him go for the one he loves” One of the Queens said and Adelaide smiled
“Well,I hope you last because the king had numbers of queens but they never lasted” One of them said and Adelaide smiled
“You don’t have to hope,We are going to stay together forever so hoping on us is useless” She said
“I love your boldness” The one sitting beside her said
“Thank you” Adelaide smiled
“I can see it in the King’s eyes,He’s in love with you. So like you said,we don’t have to hope on anything”
The conversation continued for hours even after they finished eating.
