MINISTER’S HOUSE**
“Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!”

“Noooo!!!!!!!!!”
The maids watched as Yasmin scream continuously while in the bathtub,she would scream more each time she remember how Lucian took Adelaide’s side
“Ahhhhhh!!!!!!” She screamed and began roughing her hair
“My lady….” Tiana tried going close
“Stay away!!!” Yasmin yelled and Tiana immediately moved back
Just then,Amara and Lucia came in. They are her sisters,Amara is the eldest who is twenty eight while Lucia is twenty six and then Yasmin who is the youngest is twenty four.
“What’s going on here?” Amara asked and Lucia ordered the maids to leave
They bowed and walked out
“Ahhhh!!!!!” Yasmin screamed again
“Hey Yasmin!!!” Amara yelled
“Go away,leave me alone” Yasmin roll her eyes
“Can you tell us what happened and stop screaming like a mad woman?” Lucia scoffed
“You’re right,I’m running mad already.” Yasmin muttered and stood up from the tub nak*d
“Are you crazy?!” Amara and Lucia immediately turned
“Stop acting like I’m a boy” Yasmin scoffed and grabbed a towel before going into her room,they followed her
“So what happened? I heard you went to the palace” Lucia said,making herself comfortable on the bed
“I was humiliated today,seriously” Yasmin muttered
“How?” Amara asked and Yasmin began explaining to them
“Oh,you mean the king supported the maid and not you?” Lucia asked
“Exactly,and I feel like killing that maid” Yasmin said
“You said it yourself that she bumped into you by mistake,why would you slap her? Because I am very sure she apologized to you,so you expect the king to support evil just because its you? No Yasmin…….”
“Can you spare me of your teaching already? It’s boring” Lucia scoffed and faced Yasmin
“If I were you,I would have destroyed that maid’s face even before the king arrived at the scene” She said and Yasmin smiled
“Exactly,but I didn’t get the chance and I had to apologize to the king again” She muttered
“Of course you should,coz you were wrong. Lucia wouldn’t tell you this because you two are the same but you know me,I will never support evil” Amara said and walked out
“I wonder why she’s our sister,even her brain is old” Lucia hissed
“Who cares? The next time I set my eyes on that maid,she better run away from me” Yasmin said and fold her fist

PALACE**
Lisa was totally drunk,she kept on spitting out rubbish,even Adelaide was getting tipsy already from the one glass she drank,it’s her first time tasting a wine thanks to Lisa
“I’m….so tired” Lisa grinned and stood up,,she almost staggered as she walked to the bed,she fell on it loudly
Adelaide also managed to get up
“I will take my leave now my princess” She muttered in her tiny voice which Lisa didn’t hear at all.
Adelaide walked out,staggering as she tried finding her way to the maid’s quarter

“The moon is so bright and pretty tonight my king” Matilda said,smiling as she stared at the moon while walking beside Lucian,Carl walking behind them
“You made me come out Matilda,you better take full responsibility” King Lucian said and Matilda smiled
“Of course my king,I don’t want to watch this all alone” She said
They continue walking,just then the drunk Adelaide appeared,coming toward them
“Oh…..” King Lucian mouthed and Matilda looked at him with a frown
“Do you know her?” She asked
King Lucian ignored her question and kept his eyes on Adelaide who was walking slowly but still staggering,she was supporting herself with the wall but all of a sudden,she lost her steps and fell directly into Lucian,he quickly caught her before she could land on the floor
Carl immediately moved forward and took Adelaide from the king,she was already closing her eyes.
“I think she’s drunk” Carl said
“What type of palace maid get drunk? Isn’t she a bad luck?” Matilda said angrily
“What should I do?” Carl asked Lucian
“Take her to her room” Lucian answered and Matilda couldn’t believe her ears
Carl carried Adelaide in a bridal style and walked away
Matilda immediately faced King Lucian
“My king,that was somehow” she said
“Why?”
“You should have at least punished her for getting drunk in the first place,secondly she fell on you,what if you had gotten hurt in the process?” She asked
“A tiny body like hers can’t get me hurt” King Lucian replied
“Still,why would a maid get drunk? And why should Carl even help her?” Matilda snapped and King Lucian raised his brows
“Are you questioning me now?” He asked
“No,who am I to question the king??” She said stubbornly and bowed
“I don’t want to watch the moon anymore,goodnight I will see you tomorrow” She muttered and walked away angrily
Lucian stared at her until she was out of sight,he ignored it and turned back toward his chamber. He wasn’t interested in watching the moon anyway,it was her idea and he did well by coming with her

NEXT MORNING**
After freshening up,Adelaide pack her hair in a tight bun and walked out of the room,her roommates aren’t in,none of them want to talk to her anyway.
As she walked,she started hearing the maids whispering among themselves,it’s about her again
? You wouldn’t believe it was the king’s favorite guard who brought her to the room last night
? I can’t believe my crush carried her
? I just feel like killing her to avoid seeing her face again
? I heard she was drunk last night
? Then why isn’t she getting punished??
Adelaide didn’t say a word as she continue walking with her face up trying not to look at any of them until Queen Sofia showed up with her maids
Immediately all the maids bowed
“Good morning queen mother!” They chorused
Queen mother continue walking through them and finally stopped in front of Adelaide with a beautiful smile confusing everyone including Adelaide.
“Good morning your highness” She said and bowed gently
“I heard you drank with the princess last night and didn’t allow her leave the palace as usual” Queen Sofia said and Adelaide was confused
It’s true they drank together,but she have no idea the princess was leaving the palace
“I…..”
“Thank you,please continue doing anything she want and make sure she doesn’t escape please. I will make sure I reward you if I see some changes in her” Queen Sofia said and the maids started murmuring
Queen Sofia turned to her maids and one of them immediately opened the box in her hand
The maids gasped immediately they saw the bracelet inside,
Queen Sofia took the bracelet and put it around Adelaide’s wrist
“I will trust you with this,make sure you keep it well,it’s quite expensive” She smiled
“Thank you my queen,I will keep it” Adelaide bowed
The queen turned and walked away
? Is this a dream?
? Why would a maid wear something as expensive as that?
Adelaide checked the bracelet out and smiled before walking away

PRINCESS LISA’S SUITE**
Lisa released a Mõ@n as she finally came out of the bath tub
The maids immediately covered her up with the towel and wore the robe on her.
They got to the dressing room,some of them scrubbing her body while others trying to find what she’s gonna wear
“How about this my princess” A maid showed Lisa one of the expensive dresses
“No,something short. I’m not leaving the palace” Lisa replied
The maids got a short gown for her
“Right” Lisa smiled
She stood up and put it on,she sat down again and they began dressing her hair
Just then the queen mother came in
“Good morning queen mother” The maids immediately chorused
“Excuse us” Queen Sofia said and the maids went out
“Daughter” Queen Sofia smiled and Lisa roll her eyes
“I hope you know I didn’t leave the palace last night,don’t scold me” She said
Queen Sofia smiled and hugged her,surprising Lisa
“What’s going on?” She asked
“I heard you haven’t been going out of the palace for two days,I’m really impressed” She said
“Well I was tempted to go last night,but someone agreed to drink with me.” Lisa muttered
“Yeah I heard that too. Feel free to do anything with her as long as you don’t leave the palace” Queen Sofia said and Lisa scoffed before nodding.

KING’S CHAMBER**
“Did you went through everything last night?” Carl asked as he helped King Lucian dress up
“Are you asking like a teacher or what?” King Lucian asked
“Yes” Carl replied and King Lucian chuckled
“You know I am smart,I went through everything” He said and Carl nodded
“Just call me if you need anything your highness,I will run to you no matter where I am” Carl said and Lucian smiled
Carl was trying to help him button up his royal coat wear when Matilda came in and her eyes met with Lucian’s own
“I will do that Carl,you can go” She said and Carl looked at King Lucian
He nodded and Carl went out
“Good morning my king” Matilda greeted and walked closer
Lucian ignored her greetings
“Are you angry with me? I’m sorry for leaving last night” She muttered and began helping him button up
She suddenly touched his chest and run her hand through it,King Lucian held her hand
“I’m sorry” She bite her lips and continue what she was doing
Just then,Adelaide came in and Matilda glared at her secretly
“Good morning your highness” Adelaide greeted with a bow before dropping the tea head maid told her to bring.
She turned back to see Lucian and Matilda staring at each other while her hand still on his chest
‘Seriously he ignored me because of her? I thought she’s just a mistress,why are they so close to each other??’ She thought inwardly
And she could sworn that she had no idea why and how,but immediately that thought ran through her head, she found herself going closer to them
Shockingly,she went in between and separated them from each other angrily.
