EPISODE 54 & 55
•THE BILL’S MANSION•
“Molly wait,” Jayden rushed Into the house.
Molly jammed the door but he put his hand on the way and the door met with his hand, cutting into his skin, blood find its way out.
“Molly,” he grabbed her hand, before she could run into her bedroom, she stopped glaring back at him with tears pouring down her eyes.
“I didn’t kiss her, I swear it….”
“I saw it,” she yelled jealously
“You were kissing her too,”
“I didn’t, she took me unaware. Molly you’re the only one for me, the only Woman love and I will never kiss another except you,” he said seriously
“Did you mean that?”
“Yes, I cross my heart, I’m sorry that you have to see that but I didn’t do it…. ” he stopped when she took his hand, her face sparkled with fear as she stared into his eyes then back at his hand.
“Did I do this?” She panicked
He shook his head negatively
“I tried blocking the door with my hand and…”
“I need to get you treated,” she pulled him over to the couch, going over to their first aid kit which was placed on the counter
She took it and went back to him
Molly began treating his wound while he fix his gaze on her face, admiring how beautiful she was.
“Molly,” Jayden called and she glanced up at him, wrapping his hand with a bandage
“You’re beautiful,” he said softly whilst taking the scissors from her
He gently place it on the small table and then pulled her to him, she landed on his lap.
“So tell me, why you came after me?” He asked
She lowered her head, he held her jaw, and raise her face.
“You don’t have to be shy, I love you and it’s okay if…..”
“No, I also feel the same way,” she didn’t know when that left her mouth.
“What?? Really??” His eyes widened
She touched his hair, thrilling his hand to her face down to his neck before stopping on his chest.
She smiled
“You’re hand……” The last part which was “some” went back into her throat as he crashed his lips on hers
She reciprocated instantly and he tossed her over the couch, coming on top of her.

•MALL•
“F,” Fiona heard and quickly turned to see Asher right behind
She made to hide the sanitary pads in her hand but he chuckled stopping her, reaching for another he picked it and dropped it in her basket.
“There,” he pointed out with a shrug
Her face flushed with embarrassment and she looked away
“Stalking me now?”
“What do you think?” He winked at her
They walked over to the cashier and Asher quickly brought out his credit card
“All bills will be taken care of when where are done,” she said and he frowned
“We?” He Raise a brow
“Yeah, I came with someone,” Fiona replied giggling at the look on his face
He gave her a suspicious look, like what the hell does she mean by that? Just then, Angelina strode past them.
“Let’s go,” her voice breaking
Asher and Fiona exchanged glances and she quickly followed Angelina.
“Angel!!” A middle-aged man rushed forward and held her hand just as she was about going into the car.
She yanked his hand off her instantly with a slap that sent him staggering back.
Fiona’s eyes widened in shock, did she just slap Dominic Hawkings? A wealthy business tycoon.
Angelina jammed the door
“Drive,” Fiona muttered, she stared at Angelina’s face then back at the man who stood in the middle of the road staring at their car.
“Sir, you want us to stop her??” One of his bodyguards asked and he glared.
“Are you high?” His high-pitched voice came out loud and the bodyguard move back.
“Sorry sir,”
He returned his gaze to the road again, staring at the car that is speeding down the highway
He never wished that he will see that woman’s face again, after 20 years. He had fallen out of love and abounded her with their 3-month-old daughter.
He never looked back, he didn’t care about her feelings cos he had fallen for another, but after checking others out, there was none like her.
Patience, she has it in full coupled with endurance, she was loving and caring even when nobody cared for her.
“This is one reason I don’t like going out with you Dad, you like delaying things and my date must be waiting,” Felix stepped down the limo grumpily.
Meanwhile, Fiona couldn’t stop glaring at Angelina from time to time as her soft sobs filled the car.
“Do you know him?” Fiona asked gently, in a way that won’t add to her anger
Angelina glared at her
“No,” she lied

•A WEEK LATER~~ COMPETITION VENUE•
School buses from different schools could be seen lined up in the lot, and boys and girls in different informs strode past the gate into the school premises.
Tiffany came down the taxi with Scarlett and Iris
“Mummy, are we going in?” Iris asked looking up at her face
“No, sweetheart, just Tiffany but we will watch her on TV,” Scarlett replied
Tiffany pocked her cheeks and she giggled
Penelope rolled her eyes from where she stood.
“Tiffany, you sure you don’t want me to hang around? You might be….”
“I’m very much fine…..” She replied cutting in
Atticus was about to go over to them when he saw Felix, he stopped watching as they held hands, walking into the building.
He hissed and rolled his eyes.
“So annoying,” he muttered
“Look who we have here, it’s the big sis,” Sophia hugged Scarlett from behind, she broke the hug and touched Iris’s cheeks
“Why is everyone touching my cheeks?” Iris pouted cutely
Scarlett was about to reply when a guy walked up to them, he pecked Sophia’s cheek and then hand a bag over to her before walking out.
“Who is this one?” Scarlett narrowed her gaze at him
“New guy,” Sophia winked
“He’s hotshot, but what about Lucas?” She asked and Sophia hissed.
“Bygone,” she hissed loudly
Scarlett raised her brows
“But why, he seems like a nice guy …”
“Oh yeah, a good guy that wants to Füçk me on our second date,”
“Oh uhh,”
“Your little boyfriend is watching and he seems pissed,” Scarlett said gesturing at Oliver who was seven feet away
Sophia turned but almost immediately Oliver began walking away
“I don’t know what to do with him,” Sophia went after him just so he won’t start crying.

•STOREROOM•
The door slightly cracked open and Sophia popped her head in, Oliver was across the room, his back to her.
One hand clenched above his head as he leaned by the wall, the other against his side.
His entire firm seems curiously tense, his head bent forward as if he was struggling with something.
She took in a deep breath, he has been acting all lovey-dovey and it was annoying but what was more annoying is seeing him in tears, she just couldn’t help it.
She slowly stepped forward, just as he threw his head back and she caught sight of his face, which was full of tension, the hand at his side jacked a bit more.
Then it hit her, HE WAS m@$tvrb@tING!
She thought he was angry and jealous like he has always been whenever he sees her with a guy but …..
Sophia froze in shock.

•OUTSIDE•
Storm stood on the gateway, watching Scarlett as she approach, he knew he had to tell her the truth. But was she ready to hear it? Or would she reject him and never forgive him?
He had given her space to calm down and here he was again, trying to make things right.
She began walking out of the school and his heart stopped. how would she react?
She stopped checking her phone which just buzzed in her pocket.
HUDSON: the school offered a million dollars to drop the case
SCARLETT: really? What do you think?
HUDSON: I don’t know, it’s your case
SCARLETT: and Beatrice?
HUDSON: Still in custody 🧑✈️ you want me to let her go?
SCARLETT: No! you really don’t think anything about the school?
HUDSON: you want me to shut it down? Just say the word and it’s closed.
SCARLETT: lemme think about it.
HUDSON: Good, I think Beatrice didn’t do it
SCARLETT: you’re kidding right?
HUDSON: Come over or should I send the chauffeur?
Scarlett gave it a quick thought, was she ready to face him now? After what happened between him and Judson
It’s so surprising how Judson turned his face into a punching bag and Hudson made zero attempts to stop him or fight back, he was just laughing like a maniac.
Judson didn’t actually see her that night, Hudson stood in the way after ordering her not to get out of bed and she didn’t.
And Gwad, Judson would have k*!!d him if not for their mother’s intervention.
She walked out of the school but paused when she saw Storm.
“Sweetness, I just wanna talk, please hear me out,” he said calmly
There will be no use in running so Scarlett inhaled deeply, she exhaled nodding.
“Why?” She asked.
Only the smallest shred of self-preservation had him answering through a tight mouth cos the truth of how betrayed she’d feel, had him wanting to flay his skin off.
“I… Sweetness,” he stuttered, looking for the right word to use so as not to mess this moment up.
“You don’t think I deserve to know about you?” She asked
Panic crashed against his ribs at her sardonic tone, making his hands tingle and his heart race.
What an idiot he’d been.
“Five years,” she whispered.
“After all those years,” she sniffed
His eyes burned
“S..swee…..tness,” his voice cracked on her name.
“How did that feel? She asked with a sad chuckle.
“Screwing me all these years yet you couldn’t bring yourself to tell me about yourself,” she asked, staring him in the eyes
The air around them went cold, and if she’d taken a knife to his gut, it probably would’ve hurt less. And he knows he deserved all of it.
“Don’t make it ugly, It wasn’t easy for me,” he muttered
Her eyebrows rose on her forehead.
“I bet it wasn’t easy to lie to me, to See how far you screw me?” She exhaled a shaky laugh.
“Gwad, I handed you a perfect script about me thinking you’re somebody but little did I know…. ”
“I wanted to tell you!!” He cut her off in a high pitch then rough his hair, taking in a deep breath
“I’m sorry, Sweetness, it was stupid,” he came to a halt in front of her, clasping her hands in his
“I was wrong, and I’m sorry,” he added pleadingly
A tear slid down her cheek, and she pulled her hands from his so she could wipe it away.
” I trusted you…..”
“You still can,” he replied fervently.
“You still can Sweetness,” he took a step forward and she stepped back.
“you used me to benefit that part of you that still doesn’t believe that I’d actually want you, you used those awful orphan things as a way to manipulate me,” Her voice grew in strength with tears pouring down her eyes.
If only she would just let him hold her, he knows how to make her pain go away.
“I wasn’t trying to manipulate you,” he roughed his hair in frustration.
Füçk, what he really wanted to do was break something. Just to see it shatter into a million unfixable pieces. Something that would be more work than fixing wh@tëver drove him to do such stupid Sh|t.
“I knew I needed to tell you, Every Füçking time we were together, I thought about it….”
“Then why didn’t you?” She cried.
He roughed his hair and gulped emptiness
“Why didn’t you tell me?” She asked again
“Because I don’t always do the right thing!” He yelled.
“I’m Füçking human, and I mess up. It’s not always so simple as knowing the right thing and just doing it,” he added, fighting back to hold the lump in his throat.
“I don’t always do the right thing, but I would never lie to someone I love……”
“Why do you think I didn’t say anything?” He cut her off again and her gaze sharpen on his face
“You were almost too good to be true. You were exactly the kind of woman I never thought I’d have. Even before I knew who you were, I wanted you. And not for a million dollars did I think you’d ever want me back in the same way…..”
“So, you had to what? Prove a point? That I could fall in love with you even if you weren’t the man I’ve respected for so long?” She asked cutting in
He was silent.
“That is bullSh|t,” she added
“I have never made you feel like you were below me…..”
“I was below you! Look what I did. Always Messing things up and Sh|tting around!!!” He yelled.
He swiped a hand over his forehead, then looked down at his hands.
“I’m all Füçked up, I was scared you might not see me the same way if I come out clean,”
Scarlett sniffled, tears streaming down her face unchecked.
He couldn’t tear his gaze from her, his insides were ice cold and he wanted to take a crowbar to his ribs, Pry it out and get rid of this feeling coating his veins.
“Just go, I’m done talking,” she sniffed
He wanted to let Scarlett warm him. Take all that goodness in her and absorb it. But until he could fix what he’d done, until he could repair all the broken shards laying around them, he’ve lost the right to do that.
“Sweetness I’m sorry, I fall in love with you so quickly and you were just too good to be true and I was scared,” he said again, staggering back.
“But I will fix this, I promise!” He added
How had he let it get this far? Why did he think it wouldn’t leave her feeling betrayed and manipulated?
With a final look, memorizing that absolute Füçking heartbreak on her beautiful face, he turned and did as she asked. He walked away.
Scarlett’s knees gave out and she sank back against the wall in deep thoughts.
Would their paths cross once more, or had their story come to an end?
All she wanted was comfort, peace of mind but it seems like peace has forsaken her, whenever she’s close to peace, disaster will sweep it away.
The battle inside her was draining her energy, driving her insane, she can’t even recognize herself no more.
It was like fire and ice, a part of her wanted to cast him away, but another part of her wanted him. She began losing her sight, fighting with herself till she got lost in her brain.
Her heart aching and longing for him but another part of her was ice cold and happy for his departure. Gradually darkness clouded her eyes.
“Mummy,” Iris’s tiny voice called, also in tears.
She always cries whenever she sees Scarlett crying.
“Mummy, open your eyes you can’t sleep here,” Iris said shaking her body with her tiny hands
“Mummy, mummy let’s go home…….”
