“My son I’ve missed you where have you been”
One could even notice the striking resemblance between the both of them.
“My son…..My son…..” The woman voice trailed off cause Sebastian stormed off while the woman kept screaming.
“Bring my son back for me, I missed him so much… He doesn’t want to see me” The woman was crying while she tried to escape but the guards held her back.
Sebastian went back to his room and shut the door loudly before going to sit on the bed.
Was this what Godmother Sian was trying to say all along. He would just wake up one day and a woman would be claiming to be his mother.
When he had lived his life always having to condone the fact that he was an orphan who was limited to some things.
Glenda opened the door and she came in closing the door gently. She knew how he must be feeling now.
Even she knew what she had to go through ever since her parents died. She couldn’t go a day without thinking about them.
But his was worse. He didn’t even know how they looked like. He just grew up knowing he had no parents .
“Seb…” She called gently and he turned to her.
“Why don’t you go to her. She keeps saying that you’re her son” She said again and Sebastian scoffed.
“Her son…. She must be mistaken. I have no parents that was what I grew up to know. That I am just some poor orphan who’s feeding off from the royal castle” He said.
“You don’t have to feel that way. I think there’s a reason for that. Why don’t you hear her out?” She tried to tell him.
“Well I don’t want to. There is no explanation that she would say that’ll make me understand her. If she has a son somewhere else she should go look for him cause I’m not ready to hear it. To me my parents are dead”
“You have too….”
“I don’t want to hear it”Sebastian cut her off.
Glenda pouted before coming to sit on his laps, “Try and understand her. Maybe it was for a reason and maybe you’ll change the way you see yourself”
“I don’t think I am ready listen to anything now but maybe with a kiss I might think about it” Sebastian said pouting cutely.
“Oh my cute little bun. You look cute this way” Glenda said and dragged his cheeks fondly before pecking him on the lips.
“That’s not a kiss. I want a deep one” Sebastian said and Glenda chuckled.
“I’m not gonna kiss you till you agree to talk to that woman” Glenda said and stood up from his laps.
“That’s not fair” He frowned and Glenda laughed.
“Suit yourself I’m off” Glenda waved before running out of the room.
<ALPHA CASTLE>
“I know you’re trying to make fun of me so it wouldn’t work. You think I looked like a lost puppy” She said whilst rolling her eyes.
“Why don’t you try again and I’ll judge rightly time”
“I’m not interested” She said and rolled her eyes.
“You seem more hurt that you look. I have more things to do today” Leroy said and vanished.
“He thinks I’ll fall for his tricks again” Echo said and then the door opened and Jonathan walked in.
“I heard you talking to someone. Was someone in here with you?” He asked her.
“Is that your way of knocking, well no one was here with me”She replied.
“Maybe I was just hearing voices” He said.
“As if”
“You just woke up” He asked going to sit at a side of the room.
“Yes and I would want for you to excuse me” She said rolling her eyes but he didn’t see her.
“I just wanted us to hang out later” He said.
“I don’t think I am in for that. I am spending the whole day with Soraya. We have girls stuff to discuss” She replied but he scoffed standing up.
“Echo are you trying to ignore me” He asked taking fast strides till he stopped in front of her.
“I’m not ignoring you If I am I wouldn’t have been talking to you right now” She said but Jonathan gripped her arm.
“I don’t want to believe that you’re falling for Leroy. He is someone dangerous and he can hurt you. Aren’t you scared of his hideous face. I love you Echo and I would do anything to be with you” Jonathan confessed and Echo swallowed her saliva down her throat.
“I’m sorry but I can’t reciprocate your feeling Nathan. I don’t care about how hideous or how many scars are on Leroy’s face. What I care about is the heart” She said sincerely and removed her arm from his grip turning to go to the bathroom.
When she was about to take her next step, he pulled her back harshly by the arm. His veins were showing on his neck expressing how hurt he was hearing how Echo was defending Leroy right in front of him.
“You’re mine Echo and no one else. I won’t let go of you and not for Leroy. You have to love me” He said gritting his teeth as he talked.
“Let me go you’re hurting me” She said but that made him tighten his grip on her.
“Let me taste those succulent lips of yours. I’m sure you’ve let him kiss you countless times” Jonathan said and tried to kiss her forcefully but she shifted her face.
“I would kiss you if that’s what will make you succvmb to me” He said and tried forcing her into kissing him again.
“LET ME GO!!!” Echo yelled as her eyes blazed yellow and suddenly a force pushed Jonathan far away from her that he hit his back hardly on the wall that it cracked.
“What just happened?”Echo muttered checking herself.
“You have a great energy that you’ve been hiding. You’re not someone weak I can feel it” Jonathan said standing up on his feet with a bleeding back.
“No it’s not me. I can’t do that.” Echo said shaking her head repeatedly.
**OUTSIDE THE CASTLE**
Seraphina teleported herself to where she doesn’t know. She has no one to help her and she couldn’t stop blaming Echo. If she ends up getting her sight back she will surely kill her.
She was using her hands to feel her surroundings but she couldn’t get anything.
“Poor Witch”Deepika said as she appeared in front of Seraphina with an evil smirk on her face.
Seraphina got scared and she began searching around again. Maybe the person was here to hurt her.
“Who are you…….. What do you want from me?”Seraphina said shifting back.
“I don’t think that’s important and I am here to strike a deal with you” Deepika said and Seraphina furrowed her eyes brows.
Was this person sick or what? Can’t she see that she’s blind. Who would want to strike a deal with a blind person.
“Please help me back with my sight. I can’t see” Seraphina begged.
“It’s part of the deal and I won’t prevaricate. I want you to kill someone for me and in exchange I would be able to make you see” Deepika said smiling evilly.
She knows there no how Seraphina would reject such offer. She was selfish and she would go any length just to get what she wants.
And she was running out of time and she plans on using Seraphina as bait. That was how devilish she would go.
“Yes I would do it. I don’t care who it is. I just want to see again” Seraphina hurriedly said and Deepika laughed.
“I knew you wouldn’t say No” Deepika said and then she began muttering some things under her breath and with the snap of her fingers, A blinding light shone on Seraphina eyes.
Seraphina blinked her eyes repeatedly and she looked around. Everywhere seemed a bit bright but after some minutes she adjusted to it.
This person made her see with a snap of her fingers then she wasn’t someone ordinary.
“Back to what we were saying” Deepika voice made her take her gaze to her from the floor where she was sitting.
“You…… You’re the one who gave me my sight” Seraphina said pointing fingers at her.
“A deal is a deal. Now it’s time for you to fulfill your own part of the deal or I’ll kill you” Deepika said and Seraphina heart skipped.
“Who do you want me to kill?” She said in a low voice.
“I want you to get rid of her. I mean the Demon’s mate”
And no one didn’t have to tell her it was Echo….
