“I want you to get rid of her. I mean the Demon’s mate”
And no one didn’t have to tell her it was Echo….
Seraphina clenched her fist. Now she knew that it wasn’t only her who wants Echo dead.
“I knew that girl was just a wolf in sheep’s clothing…. But why do you want her dead?” Seraphina asked. She wouldn’t lie it was kinda suspicious.
“Let’s just say she stole something from me and I can’t get it back unless I kill her” Deepika replied staring at how she was able to fool Seraphina with her words.
“She also stole something very important from so consider her dead from now on” Seraphina said imagining how she would kill Echo.
“Remember a deal is a deal” Deepika said and vanished.
“Time to get rid of that Bîtch” Seraphina said and vanished also.
<ECHO’S ROOM>
“What just happened? I might have been under a spell. Yeah! There’s no possible way I can do that” Echo said.
Jonathan left after what she did to him. And he kept talking about her being powerful but she has been hiding it.
“Echo. What’re you thinking about?” Echo snapped back to reality and saw Soraya standing in front of her.
“What were you saying to yourself? I came in minutes ago but you kept mumbling to yourself” Soraya asked.
“It’s nothing. I was just trying to figure out something that’s all” Echo lied and Soraya believed her.
“Geez,,,, you haven’t had your bath…. Off you go, you’re stinks” Soraya squeezed her nose as she pushed Echo into the bathroom.
“I don’t. You’re just exaggerating. Even if I don’t bath for a mouth I’ll still be clean” Echo boasted but Soraya laughed.
“Oh please drama queen, go have your bath and stop blabbing about such big lie” Soraya rolled her eyes playfully and Echo finally went into the bathroom.
While she went to read a book while waiting for her.

Echo just finished dressing up and Soraya looked up from the book she was reading and she gasped standing up.
“Am I seeing things or you’re looking extra cute today” Soraya said.
“You’re seeing things cause I have always been cute but you failed to notice that” Echo replied and she chuckled.
“Okay tell me are you planning on making Leroy yours today” Soraya teased her while eyeing her.
“As if it’s that easy”Echo scoffed.
“So you’re admitting it” Soraya eyed her and she flushed.
“I’m not dressing up because of him. Can’t I look good on my own. ” Echo felt her cheeks heating up and she knew she was all red.
All because of one person. He keeps making her feel flustered.
“Okay I believe you Milady” Soraya said and bowed playfully for her.
When Soraya did that, Echo felt a migraine hit her and she held her head and yelped.
She just had a flash and she saw herself sitting on a throne and numerous shadows were bowing down before her.
It felt so real like it happened and Echo closed her eyes as Soraya helped her to the bed to sit.
The pain slowly came down and she opened her eyes but her hand was still on her temple.
“Okay what was the reason for the sudden ache” Soraya asked.
“I dunno” She replied.
Everything was starting to feel so different. Ever since she got that book from the library, she started getting unknown feeling she can’t explain.
“Don’t worry it’s gonna be fine I will be here for you” Soraya assured her and she smiled lightly.
“Thanks that really helps a lot”

“I told you I am still thinking about it. Glenda” Sebastian chuckled as Glenda dragged him to the healer’s quarters.
“The guards and maids couldn’t have a wink of sleep because she kept asking for your presence so just see her even if it’s just once” Glenda pleaded and then she made a cute puppy face.
“Fine but just this once”
“Yeah Mr Grumpy” Glenda said and then he heaved a breath before going on his own.
He opened the door and then when she saw him her face lit up in happiness.
“My son… You came for me” the woman smiled but Sebastian only scoffed.
“What do you want from me and why do you keep calling me your son” Sebastian asked coldly and the woman sighed.
“I know I deserve it all….. The cold treatment. I couldn’t have left you on your own but I didn’t have any option” The woman sniffed.
“She thinks crying would make me fall for all this facade” Sebastian mumbled under his breath.
“See woman I don’t care. I didn’t come here willingly so make this snappy” Sebastian scoffed and the woman felt her heart broke into million pieces.
“Fine I will tell you why I did that and then I will stop disturbing you. Maybe I truly deserved what I got” The woman said and Sebastian turned his face away.
He can’t feel guilty for anything. She was the one who’s supposed to be feeling that.
“It all started when I became a maid in the palace. And it was known that no maids could have any fairy powers because they were destined to be who they were but mine was different. I had fairy powers but I was still a maid. And others envied me cause of that and also because I was so pretty”
“Then I became so close to the king when I became his Personal maid. That caused rumours that I was having an affair with him but it wasn’t true. The queen was intimidated by me. Her hatred grew more for me but there was no one on my side apart from Godmother Sian. She was always the one consoling and telling to have hope that my fate at the end was blissful and that seemed to make me smile somehow” The stopped and exhaled before continuing.
“Then one day I was set up. The queen made one of the guards R@PE me. I screamed and cried but no one came to help me. That bastard had his way with me and the next day he died on a spot. I ran away from the palace with no trace. But before then I slept with the king the night before. When I found out I was pregnant I began contemplating who owned the child”
“I struggled on my own to give birth to you but then an old woman came to me and told me that the child belonged to the king and that if I didn’t take him back to the palace he would die in my hands. I couldn’t let that happen and was why the next day at dawn I dropped you in front of the castle gate but that was the worst day of my life” She finished her story and by now she was crying uncontrollably.
“I’m really a bad mother. I let you go without thinking about it well” She sniffed again and Sebastian sighed.
He didn’t know this was what she passed through and he was judging her wrongly.
He walked to sit beside her and then he patted her back carefully. He’s really a bad child.
Glenda eavesdropped on what they were saying and then a drop of tear dropped from her eye,
“He’s my brother…. We can’t be together” And then she ran away.
<GRANNY KATYA’S HUT>
She applied the last ingredient into the boiling pot and then a green smoke made a poof out of the pot before it calmed. That signified how potent the potion was.
“What is that potion for Searl” Godmother Sian asked as she stood behind her.
“I warned you the last time that if you come back to my hut that I’ll end your life” Searl said glaring at her.
“You can’t win this battle you’re about to embark on. I love you sister so stop now before it’s too late” Godmother Sian said.
“Did I hear you say love.. You don’t love me at all. You’re so selfish. You always craved for wh@tëver I wanted and I would keep to my promise. I’ll really end you” Searl yelled.
“Why do you keep bringing our past into this. I had to follow wh@tëver was proclaimed by the goddess” Sian replied her calmly.
“Stop mentioning about any silly goddess. You forced her into picking you. You witch”
“Watch your mouth Searl. I just came to warn you that’s all” Sian said and tried to vanish.
Searl was fast to cast a spell that stopped her from doing so and then she rushed to her and digged her hand into her chest, ripping her heart out.
“I told you I would end you”
