<NEXT MORNING>
Echo blinked her closed eyes repeatedly and then she opened them slowly. The first thing her eyes caught was Leroy’s sleeping face.
He looked so peaceful the way he was. The scars on his face were clearing a little and Echo couldn’t lie, he looked so handsome and cute.
A smile spread on her lips. She could hear her fast heartbeat on her chest and then she brought her hand there feeling it.
“Gawd I am going crazy” She whispered to herself.
“Crazy….. Why??” Leroy said with his eyes closed and Echo gasped shutting her eyes tightly pretending that she was asleep.
Leroy chuckled before opening his eyes and then saw how she was fiddling with her fingers. So childish…
He brought his face very close to hers that his breath was fanning her face and Echo tightened her closed eyes.
“Stop pretending. I know you’re awake” He said.
Then he brought his lips to her earlobe and then he gave it a soft bite maybe that was what woke her up.
“Why did you do that?” She asked as her face had a slight frown.
“You were proving stubborn like you weren’t admiring my face earlier” He said with a smirk and Echo palmed her face trying to hide the blush on her cheeks.
“Who told you so, I just woke up now” She lied and he hummed.
“Blushing really makes you ugly” He teased and Echo wanted to hit him but he held her hands and pulled her closer to himself and her eyes widened.
“What are you trying to do” She muttered staring at his hands caressing her cheeks.
“Why did I failed to notice how beautiful you looked?” He asked and Echo scoffed.
“That’s because you were blind until now” She replied.
“Aren’t you going to leave or you aren’t tired of seeing my face all day” Leroy said with a proud smile.
“Keep dreaming” She hissed and pushed him off her and then she tried to come down from the bed but the immense pain she felt under made her fall back to the bed.
Leroy broke out into a rift of laughter and Echo frowned deeply hitting his chest.
“Are you laughing at me….. Huh” She said still frowning and then his laughter died down.
“You looked so helpless. I am still imagining why you’re still able to talk” He said and Echo glared at him.
Leroy snapped his fingers and then he told her to get down from the bed and when she did that, the pain was gone.
“I can’t bear seeing you walking around like a turtle” Leroy said and Echo hissed.
“@$$hOle” she cursed.
Echo walked out of Leroy’s room, her cheeks red and then she slapped herself.
“Can’t believe we’re now mated” She said smiling as she walked away.
“Echo” Gordon called beside her and she turned startled to see him.
“Ohhh… Hi” She said. “Didn’t know you were behind me”
“I saw you come out of Leroy’s room and I followed you till you were a distance away” He said smiling and she smiled back.
“What were you doing here?” He asked and Echo coughed.
“Are you okay” He asked and she nodded.
“Nothing important” She replied but Gordon knew she was lying.
He brought a time locket from his pocket and he showed it to her.
“What’s that” She asked curiously trying to collect the locket from his hand and he allowed her.
“It’s a special gift someone gave to me and I have treasured it more than my life” He said and Echo nodded.
“It’s really nice. Can I open it” She pleaded and Gordon smirked with a hidden intention and then he nodded.
“Okay” She opened the locket and she watched as the time was rotating. She was paying close attention to it and then her eyes became struck there.
Gordon chuckled before patting her head and Echo looked up at him without doing anything.
The locked had some spell in it and anyone who looked at it would be hypnotized.
Gordon brought out a poisoned knife from his pocket and handed it to her. Echo stretched forth her hand and collected the knife from him.
“Now you’ll go to Leroy with this knife behind your back and you’ll stab him in the chest without any fear” Gordon said to her and Echo nodded sheepishly.
Gordon gave her the poisoned knife and Echo took it under the spell and then hid the knife behind her back.
She walked like how she was hypnotized all the way to Leroy’s room and then she walked in.
He was on the bed with Starlight stroking it’s head. He raised his head when he saw her walk in.
“You just left just now and you’re back. Missing me already” He asked but she didn’t answer.
“What’s going on. Why are you looking at him that way” He asked again and then vanished and appeared in front of her.
“Are you….” He didn’t get to finish his words as Echo Swiftly brought the knife from behind her back and she drove it into his chest and his eyes widened.
After she already did that, she came back to her right senses and then she gasped,
“What have I done” She asked as she looked at her hands that was on the knife.
“Leroyyyyyy” She yelled when he fell to the floor with a bleeding chest and she squatted in front of him.
<FAIRY LAND**SPARKLE LAKES>
Sebastian and Glenda hadn’t talked to each other for two days now. Sebastian didn’t want to talk to her after seeing her with Alan at the lake the other day.
He would admit it. He was jealous seeing her close with Alan. And Glenda hadn’t even come to ask about him like she even knew he exists.
Glenda also had her own reasons. After eavesdropping on the mother and son conversation the other time. She came to find out there might be some relations between Sebastian and her.
And if it was true it would be so shameful for siblings to be having an affair so she decided to stay off even if it’s for the meantime.
Sebastian was currently in his room with his mother that is the woman from earlier. He was sitting beside her on the bed as she stroked his hair.
“What about the girl I saw you with the other time. Don’t tell me she means nothing to you” She said and Sebastian sighed.
“She means so much to me and I will do anything to keep her safe” Sebastian said and she couldn’t help but smile.
“I can feel how in love you are with her. Yunno that was how love is. It’s not something you can predict and no matter how you try to love someone wholeheartedly something must come in the way”
“What are you trying to say Mom?” Sebastian asked and her heart melted when she heard him call her Mom.
She can’t be less happy. After sulking all through the years cause of her son. She had always thought he wouldn’t even accept her no matter the explanation she gives but it turned out different.
That means he grew up so well. It was a pity she wasn’t there to experience all that.
“What I am trying to say is that you have to keep pushing forward till you have your happily ever after. My own life failed because I didn’t even try to push forward after everything that happened to me. I kept drowning in sadness” she said and then Sebastian stood up.
“I need to go somewhere”
“I understand. Go talk things out with her” She nodded and Sebastian left the room .
After he left the tears that she had been holding came running down her cheeks and she did nothing to prevent it.
“I’m such a bad mother. Even after everything I’ve done to him. I’m still worsening it” She said whilst crying.

Sebastian went to Glenda’s room and he didn’t bother knocking as he barged into the room disrupting the maids that was dressing Glenda up.
When she saw Sebastian, she turned her face away before ordering the maids to excuse her for a minute.
“We’ve got to talk” Sebastian said but Glenda turned her back on him.
“There’s nothing for us to talk about” She replied but he went closer to her and turned her to face him.
“Fine you’re not ready to have a conversation so I’ll just ask a question and then I’ll leave”
“Do you really love me cause I don’t get it. You have been ignoring me lately and even spent time with Alan even do the marriage was called off” He said angrily but Glenda couldn’t bring her eyes up to stare at him.
“I’m just doing what’s right cause now I plan on marrying Alan again” Glenda said avoiding his eyes.
“So please try and stay away from me”
