“I’m just doing what’s right cause now I plan on marrying Alan again” Glenda said avoiding his eyes.
“So please try and stay away from me”
“You’re joking right. I can see it in your eyes Glenda you’re being forced to do this just tell me the truth and I will believe you. Please just tell me you love me and I will just forget wh@tëver to you said” Sebastian said with misty eyes coming closer to her but Glenda moved backwards.
She wanted to breakdown in front of him and explain it all but she couldn’t. For his safety she had to do it.
“Please leave Seb. You’re making this hard for me” She said calmly hoping Sebastian would just go but that wasn’t the case.
“I know it’s that bastard Alan. He won’t just leave you alone. What did he tell you this time that you foolishly agreed huh….. Tell me cause I don’t think you love me at all. You’re just like them all Pretenders. Fine I’ll leave you but even if I get to learn of the truth I won’t turn back” He yelled angrily before storming out of the room.
The tears in her eyes began rolling down her cheeks as she rested her back on the wall.
She couldn’t beat tell him all that. She didn’t want to be the reason for the conflict between mother and son.
<FLASHBACK…. 3 DAYS AGO>
After Sebastian had finished talking to his mother the other day she told him what he passed through, Glenda came in after he left.
“What are you doing here?” Sebastian mother(Elizabeth) asked when she saw Glenda.
“I just came to look for Sebastian and also I haven’t been able to greet you properly” Glenda said smiling as she advanced her way towards her.
“Stay back. I don’t want you coming close to me. I h@të the sight of you. You’re not a good person for my son. You’re just like your mother” Elizabeth said with disgust and Glenda raised one of her eyebrow.
“What are you trying to say”
“Don’t act naive with me. Your mother was never a good person. Always looking down at other and using them to their advantage I’m sure that’s what you’re about to do with my son but that’s not gonna happen…. Na- ah” Elizabeth shook her head.
“I don’t understand you mom I…..”
“Hey don’t call me that do I look like your forsaken mother” Elizabeth cut her off.
“I am respectful to a fault. I won’t let you insult my mother that way. She might not have been a good queen to all but that doesn’t mean you’ll insult her right in my presence and compare her to me”
“I love Sebastian so much and I will do anything for us to be together forever” Glenda confessed.
“You will do anything…. Then let my son go. The moment I get my way into his house I am taking him away from this castle” Elizabeth said.
“That’s not gonna happen. I would tell Sebastian about this” Glenda said but Elizabeth began laughing.
“And you think he’s gonna believe you. His mother or just a lover who is he gonna believe and don’t I just came into his life and I gained his trust within few days but you….. How long have you two been together… Maybe childhood or so….”
“Why are you doing this” Glenda muttered.
“Cause I don’t want my son to have anything to do with you. And besides he might be the late king’s son which means he’s partially your brother and that relationship can’t work right”
“You’re a wicked mother. Now I regretted ever talking to him to have something to do with you” Glenda spat but she just smirked.
“Suit yourself but make sure you keep your distance from him” Elizabeth said and turned her face away.

Glenda buried her face in her palms still crying. Why does loving someone comes with such great heights.

Godmother Sian appeared in Sebastian room where Elizabeth was laying on the bed.
“Godmother” Elizabeth (Sebastian mother) squealed when she saw Godmother.
“Long time Elizabeth”
“Yeah I’ve missed my son for a long time now and I want to be with him” Elizabeth said forcing a smile on her lips.
“Quit the facade Elizabeth. We all know Sebastian is not your son. I’m not someone you can deceive” Godmother Sian with no smile on her face.
“I know you’re here for revenge but I won’t let you. Go back to where you came from and act like you didn’t even came here” Godmother said expressionless but Elizabeth shook her head.
“I am not going anywhere. They made my sister suffer till her death and I couldn’t do anything to help her and now you’re telling me to leave. That’s impossible. I will make sure they pass through what they made my sister go through” Elizabeth yelled.
“No one was responsible for what happened to Elena. She only payed for the sin she committed” Godmother replied.
“This is injustice. Everyone here is unfair to us. You all used her like trash. She suffered all the days of her life for something so irrelevant”
“Leave Elizabeth”
<ALPHA CASTLE ** GORDON ROOM>
“I gave her the knife and by now she would have done it. Her scream were so sweet in my ears. No one has ever been able to hurt Leroy before but she just did. I think he’s getting weaker” Gordon said and she smiled the dark lipstick on her lips making her look just like her mother.
“This is just the beginning of it all. The poison on the knife has no cure no matter how powerful the person is, the poison can’t be taken away from his body. He’s body will slowly become more weaker by the nights till he finally meets his end” She said looking at her reflection in the mirror.
“But how does this affects her. Yunno it’s not only him we need so how do we get her now” Gordon asked confused but she just chuckled darkly.
“It’s simple. The mate bond. They are bound to feel what happens to the other. So the moment the poison starts taking effect on his body. She’ll also feel the same pain as him and that’ll make her weaker so getting her powers wouldn’t be that difficult” She explained and Gordon nodded.
“Your mother when do you plan on killing her” Gordon asked rather impatient. He was so thirsty for power.
“You seem impatient. That’s not gonna make us succeed. If we wanna get what we want then everything has to go according to plan. Leave my mother out of it that ungrateful witch have some scores to settle with me” She said.
“I just can’t wait to see that powerless look on my brother’s face. He’ll look so miserable” Gordon chuckled.
**LEROY ROOM**
Echo’s eyes were so red and puffy from crying for a long time. She was sitting on the floor at the door of the room and the blood stains on her hands were still there.
She couldn’t look up at Leroy. She was looking at herself as a murderer. She allowed herself to be deceived and she stabbed a knife into his chest.
That doesn’t changes the fact that she did it. Nothing can change that fact again. She’s just tried to kill him.
And the worst part is he won’t stop bleeding, he was losing a lot of blood and there was nothing she could do to stop it.
She wanted to kill herself also but Soraya managed to take the knife away from her and she had been sitting so helplessly on the ground.
Soraya tried looking for a spell book in the library but nothing was giving. It was like they were left on their own.
Echo vowed to kill herself if anything happened to Leroy. She was the cause of it all so she didn’t deserve any happiness.
“We’ll find a way” Soraya kept reassuring her but it was like she was deaf to hear that.
Godmother Sian appeared in the room and Echo stood up from the floor hastily like she had been waiting for her presence.
“I have been hearing your cried but this won’t stop the problem” Godmother said.
“I might die if anything happens to him Godmother. I don’t care what do I do. He won’t stop bleeding” Echo rushed her words and Godmother couldn’t help but smile even in a situation like this.
“You are wrong there. No matter what happens he won’t die he just won’t be able to wake up again” Godmother said and Echo gasped.
“That’s not true” she shook her head.
“I know you are in love you him but sitting here won’t solve the problem Echo. It’s time you face your problems, you’ve been hiding in the shadows for so long, if you don’t do anything then he might go into an eternal sleep”
“What’s that” Soraya asked.
“He’s never gonna wake up again but he won’t die so it’s either you watch him do so or find the answer to all these” And Echo clenched her fist.
