HIS HEARTBREAKING PAST

Elmo appeared in the thick forest of bushes. He was so angry that he needed blood to calm him down. Not just any quantity, he needed a large quantity. He sniffed his nose after smelling a particular scent.
A human. He smiled showing his sharp long fangs. His eyes already changed colour immediately and a low growl escaped his throat.
Drinking of human blood is highly prohibited because once you just take a sip, you yet addicted to it and never want to stop it again. But on the other hand, it helps to make one stronger. It sharpens them the more.
As it has its disadvantages so it has its advantages. But however at that moment, Elmo knew that it was wrong to do what he was about to do but he paid more attention to the advantages. He believed that it was just only once that he was going try it out. He would never do so anymore after this.
He sniffed the scent and immediately traced where the scent came from and within seconds, he was there.
He stared at the young girl who was struggling to carry the bundles of firewood on the ground. It was like she came to hunt for wood. The girl was still in her early teens.
She turned back to face him with a sigh. Her eyes gleamed at seeing him. At least she had found someone who could help her with lifting the heavy burden while Elmo stared at her with hungry eyes.
“Please can you help me lift the bundle” She pleaded with him and a low growl escaped his throat.
d@mn! This human was making him more hungry.
“I’m sorry but I have to do this!” He said and with a sudden speed, he ran towards her and grabbed her hair and the lady’s eyes widened. He didn’t wait for another second before sinking his fangs into her neck and a loud scream erupted from the lady.
After drinking to his satisfaction. He left her and her dead body fell on the ground. Elmo groaned as if he just realising what he did, blood was still dripping from his fangs and he licked it with his tongue.

No matter how much he regrets doing it, he really loved and he couldn’t deny how sweet it was but then he felt a sudden hunger for more.
“No, this shouldn’t be happening to me. This is my first and it would be my last!” He said to him and clenched his fists.
“Really?!” Another cold deep voice said behind him and his eyes slightly widened. He turned back immediately to see who was talking.
However, his face was covered and he was wearing a long cloat.
“Who are you?” He asked slightly worried that the person might be from his clan. He didn’t want to be banished from the clan for just a slight mistake.
“Me. You don’t need to know who I am!” The man said and Elmo scoffed as he tightened his fists.
“I’m asking you nicely for the last time, who the hell are you?!” He yelled angrily .
“What would you do? Kill me?!” The man said in a deep voice and Elmo shuddered.
“You!” Elmo suddenly groaned and charged towards him with a sudden speed but however he suddenly vanished. Elmo paused confused looking around.
“Hahaha!” He heard the foolish man’s laughter behind him. He turned to face him but he was already gone from there too.
“Stop playing games with me and tell me who you are?!” Elmo yelled and the man’s laughter continued.
“Oh! You innocent son! Your mother will be so disappointed after learning what you just did!”
Elmo sighed and closed his eyes.
“Who the hell are you?”! He groaned opening his eyes.
“Are you a vampire or werewolf, perhaps a witch or a demon, or an elf. Just tel me who you are?”
“You don’t need to know who I am. You just need to obey me!”
Elmo scoffed and almost laughed.
“What’s so funny?” The man asked.
“You are funny, you want me to obey you. I don’t even know you and even if I did, I would never tale orders from you!” Elmo snapped at him and the man laughed.
“You will have to because you have two things with me!”
Elmo frowned.
“What? What things do you have with you?” He asked.
“Your secret and someone very special to you!”
“Who?” Elmo asked impatiently.
“Annabelle!” The voice said and Elmo heard a loud bang in his head.
“What? Anna! Stop playing games with me?” He yelled now very angry.
“Well I’m not. Anna is your childhood friend. And I know she’s very special to you but however she went missing and you have been looking for her for some time now. Aren’t I right?” The voice asked and Elmo nodded.
“Yes, but how do you know? Are you the one who perhaps kidnapped her?” Elmo yelled out.
“Ooop! No. I never kidnapped her but someone did. Someone you would never like to mess with!” He said and Elmo scoffed.
“He’s the king of the demons and Vampires. He is your king!”
“What? That’s highly impossible. Anna’s father is the king of our clan.. ” Elmo argued and the man laughed again.
“Stop kidding. Anna’s father is just the king of your clan but not the king of all demons and vampires”
“How can I get Anna back” Elmo asked.
“It’s not so easy as you think. You will be going up against a powerful being and lest I forget, Anna’s his mate!” He added and Elmo froze on his spot shocked.
“What?” He managed to say.
“Yes, you heard me right. Your childhood friend is Mated to the demon vampire king”
“No, no, it can’t be possible. It just can’t be!” Elmo yelled holding his hand.
“You know that it’s highly possible!”
“No but why?” He queried him.
“You should ask the moon goddess that! Not me!”
Elmo groaned and sank on his knees. His heart was shattered into million pieces. Just when he was already happy to finally find her. He learned of this devastating news.
“Don’t lose hope! There’s still hope for you..”
Elmo lifted his head slightly and saw the man in a cloak behind him.
“I have a deal!” The man further said.
“Let’s work together to get Anna back!” He said.
“And why would you help me?” Elmo asked slightly irritated.
“Because we have a common enemy and that is the king of the Vampires and demons”
“So do we have a deal?” He asked Elmo and Elmo nodded and stood up.
“Yes we do. We have a deal!” Elmo said glaring at no one in particular as he clenched his fists.
“Then let’s meet at this same place and same time Tommorrow..”
“Till then..” The man said and vanished immediately into thin air.
“Now that I’ve found out who you are with Anna. I will never give up on you, I’ll not give up on us. I don’t care whether you have a mate and I don’t care wh@tëver king he is. I’m going to fight for you and bring you back home to where you rightfully belong. To your family and to me!” He said with clenched fists and also disappeared into thin air.
