⟨ ROYAL DINNING ROOM ⟩
The Royal family was having their breakfast together in the palace dinning room. They don’t normally eat together, they eat together once in every week. And the maids were busy serving the royal family they fell under.
Tatiana and Kira were also present serving Narmada and Waylon just couldn’t take his eyes off from her. Thiago noticed it and chuckles.
“Father” Jai said smiling. He’s Queen Anjali’s son and the youngest prince since he’s ten years old.
“Yes Jai” King Osvaldo answers.
“I heard a ceremony between different kingdom will be heard in two days time, is that true” Jai asked smiling.
“Yes Jai. Is a celebration hosted every decade to separate the peacefulness between our kingdom and other kingdoms. And this year it happened that it will be done in Maelstrom” King Osvaldo said.
“If that is the case. Can Prince Cheng come?” He asked and everyone dropped their cutleries, while Tatiana’s ears stood, ready to hear what they’re going to say.
“How did you know Cheng?” King Osvaldo asked. Since Jai was born within the period Cheng turned into a demon, it was a surprise to them that Jai knows about Cheng.
“I heard some of maids talking about him and when I asked, they told me he’s my brother and the third prince of Maelstrom. And when I asked where he was, they told me they don’t know. Where is he father? And how come no one talks about him?” Jai asked.
“Just eat your food” King Osvaldo said.
“But father” Jia said.
“Eat your food Jai and stopped talking about an irrelevant person” Queen Anjali said.
Tatiana felt like pulling off her big crown when she called Cheng irrelevant, but she just had to stay put and she couldn’t wait to see Cheng again tonight.
“Just eat your food okay” Narmada said ruffling his hair. Jai only nods and continue eating.
*They’re so heartless. How can they eat without caring if Cheng has eaten* Tatiana said inwardly and intentionally poured the red wine on Queen Anjali’s body.
“Are you crazy!!!” Queen Anjali yells at Tatiana.
“I’m so sorry my Queen” She said innocently.
“You’re so stupid!!” Queen Anjali said and tries to slap Tatiana, but Waylon held her hand.
“She said she’s sorry, you don’t have to hurt her” Waylon said throwing her hand off.
“And who gave you the right to interfere with my mother’s business?” Thiago asked.
“She’s my sister’s personal maid and won’t let her treat her like trash” Waylon said and Narmada nods in support.
“It was just a mistake we don’t have to fight over it. Hey you” King Osvaldo said.
“Yes my King” Tatiana said innocently.
“Don’t ever make a mistake like this again, understood” King Osvaldo said.
“I won’t My King. I’ll get something to clean the mess on the floor” Tatiana said and leaves.
“Can we eat now?” Asked the King.
Queen Anjali and Thiago glared h@tëfully at Waylon and Narmada and continues eating. Queen Vanya just stayed quiet.
Tatiana went far from the dinning room and laughs so hard.
“Serve you right for calling my husband an irrelevant person” Tatiana said and snickers.

⟨ THE KING’S CHAMBER ⟩
“You sent for me, Your majesty” Zelda said with a bow.
Zelda is the king’s personal bodyguard. He’s the same age with Waylon and knows archery and fencing so well. His great martial arts skilled gave him the position of being the king’s personal bodyguard.
He’s often made fun at because he bears a girl’s name. He’s kind of cool and handsome too.
“Yes I did. Do you think is okay if I invite Cheng to the ceremony?” He asked.
“You want to Cheng to come to the main palace. Isn’t that risky?” Zelda asked.
“I know. But it has been a decade I last saw him. I just wanted to see what he has grown up to become”.
“You shouldn’t invite for the ceremony, Your Majesty. From the rumors I have heard about him, he might just cause trouble” Zelda said with a bow.
King Osvaldo looks at Zelda and nods his head.

“Thanks you for the flowers, Your highness. Is so pretty” Tatiana said taking the flowers from him. It was inside a flower vase. And the Chinese rose flowers were so alive and healthy.
“I’m glad you like it Tatiana” Waylon said.
Tatiana smells the flowers and smiles. “He’s sure going to love it” She said.
“Huh?”
“Oh, I didn’t say anything” She said.
“Don’t make a mistake anytime you’re with Queen Anjali, She’s cruel”.
*I did that intentionally* Tatiana said within herself and clears her throat smiling.
“I’m going to keep that in mind. I’ll go ahead now. Thanks for the flowers” Tatiana said, she bowed to him and leaves.
Waylon stood looking at Tatiana smiling. Harlow sees him looking at Tatiana, but she couldn’t see her face.
“Who’re you looking at?” She asked
“What’re you doing here?” Waylon asked.
“And since when did you start asking me what I’m doing here in the palace?” Harlow answered his question with a question.
“I’m not in the mood to argue with you” Waylon said and leaves.
“Who was that girl he was looking at and smiling?” Harlow asked with a frown.

⟨ NIGHT ≈ COTTAGE ⟩
Tatiana raised her neck looking at the cottage which was dark inside. “Why’s the cottage always dark?” She muttered still looking at it.
“You came” Cheng said.
Tatiana smiles and turns to face him. “I told you I was going to come. I’m a promise keeper” Tatiana said and Cheng smiles.
“Come with me, I made you something to eat” He said taking her hand. Tatiana smiles happily and went with him and both went inside the cottage.
“How is it?” Cheng asked as Tatiana ate.
“It’s so yummy. You indeed grew up to be a good cook despite growing up alone” Tatiana said.
“Well, I became perfect at it after so many tries” Cheng said.
“How were you able to cope being alone here?” She asked.
“It was so hard. I had to get used to eating just fruits and slowly I began eating rabbits that pass by the cottage and before I knew it I got used to eating fruits and just meat”.
“It must have been so hard for you, right?” Tatiana asked.
“Yes it was, but I’m used to the life I have now and I have you as well” Cheng said.
Tatiana blushed and continues eating the meats on the plate, smiling and blushing at the same time.
“Are you blushing?” Cheng asked smiling.
“No I’m not” Tatiana said sharply and Cheng laughs lightly.
“Thank you Tatiana. For coming here again, I don’t feel lonely anymore” Cheng said and Tatiana smiled at him.
Cheng lend closer to her and Tatiana quickly closed her eyes expecting a kiss from him. Cheng takes off the leaf that was in her hair and that made Tatiana opened her eyes.
“There was something in your hair” He said.
“Oh I see” Tatiana said. She clears her throat, concentrating back on the food.
“Where you expecting a kiss from me?” He asked.
“Of course not, never” Tatiana said rushingly.
“Then why did you close your eyes?” He asked smiling.
“I just…. I just love closing my eyes” Tatiana said.
“Liar. You were really expecting a kiss from me” He whispered in her ear, Tatiana hits him lightly and he laughs.

⟨ AN UNKNOWN LOCATION IN MAELSTROM ⟩
A horse halted its feets and the person who was always in a veil came down the horse.
The person’s footsteps was heard as its walked inside a cave.
“Where’s she?” The person in the veil asked the man he kept in charge of watching the woman.
“She’s inside. She tried to escape earlier, but I made sure I tied her up” The Man said and the person in the veil smirks and enters the dungeon where the woman was locked up.
The woman looks at the person wearing the veil and angered build inside of her.
“You monster!!!” She shouted.
“If I were you, I’ll stop screaming because no matter how you scream and shout, you won’t be able to leave this place” The person on the veil said with an evil smirk.
“Until when will you keep me lock in here? I need to see my child!! I need to know how my child is doing!!!” The woman yells crying.
