⟨ THE KING’S CHAMBER ⟩
“Did you have to act rashly!!!” King Osvaldo yells at Thiago.
“That stupid head maid poured oolong tea on me and ruined my expensive robe, Father” Thiago said.
“It was just a robe, and the stain is going to go away after few swabbing. But do you know the amount of pains that innocent woman is going to feel because of your unprompt behavior, the pains is going to take time to heal, did you even think about that!!!” King Osvaldo yells at Thiago.
“When will you ever be on my side father? Everything I do or say is always wrong in your eyes!!”
“And is indeed wrong Thiago! Take for example you are not the prince of Maelstrom and someone of higher breed than you, whipped your mother like she’s some kind of animal, how are you going to feel? Will you be happy knowing someone is treating your mother unfairly, huh?” King Osvaldo asked, but Thiago didn’t utter a word.
“You can’t even give answers to my questions, because you already know you won’t be happy to see your mother being treated like an animal. With your good for nothing behavior, I’m really having a second thought of making you the next king of Maelstrom”.
“Father, you can’t do this to me, I’m your first son” Thiago said.
“Yeah, a first son you don’t have the people he’s going to rule in his heart, you are not fit to be a King” King Osvaldo said.
“And who is fit to be King? Is it your second son Waylon? Who thinks he’s better than anyone else or your third son? Who is nothing but a demon who cause havoc anywhere he goes, are they did once who is fit to be king, huh?” Thiago asked.
“If you want me to handle the throne to you, then act like a responsible prince, not a like a psychopath” King Osvaldo said.
Thiago looks at him h@tëfully, before leaving the king’s Chamber.

“We need to talk” Harlow said entering the room with Waylon.
“About what Harlow?” He asked.
“Everything Waylon. Why did you interfere when Thiago was trying to kill that Tatiana?” She asked with an angry look on her face.
“And should I have allowed Thiago kill her?” Waylon asked.
“Yes Waylon. That girl went against your brother, you should have been on your brother’s side not hers. You even went to the extent of stretching out your sword on your brother, what were you thinking Waylon!!” Harlow yells at him.
“I don’t see anything wrong with what I did to Thiago, I won’t mind using my sword on him, if he dares to touch a strand of Tatiana’s hair” Waylon said with seriousness in his face.
“What so special about that Tatiana? Are you attracted by her beauty, or perhaps are you in love with her, answer me Waylon!!” Harlow yells at him.
“Whether I love Tatiana or not, it got nothing to do with you. You are just my childhood friend, so stop acting like my wife, if this continues, I will banned you for entering the palace”.
“Waylon!!”
“So don’t push me Harlow, I have had enough from your nagging and cruel behavior” Waylon said and leaves the room for her.
“Tatiana, I am going to kill you!!!” Harlow screamed with so indignation.

⟨ QUEEN ANJALI’S CHAMBER ⟩
“The king said all of that to you?” Queen Anjali asked, after Thiago told her, what transpired between he and the king.
“Yes mother. Father has no plan of handling the throne to me” Thiago said.
“This is all Waylon ad Tatiana’s fault. He is trying to prove to your father that he is more better than you” Supriya said.
“Speaking of that Tatiana girl, there is something weird about her” Thiago said, and Supriya furrowed her eyebrows.
“Something like what?” Queen Anjali asked.
“There is no way my sword will just flipped out from my hand and land on my forehead, without her controlling it” He said.
“So what are you trying to say Thiago, that she has magic powers?” Queen Anjali asked.
“I don’t know yet. Isn’t it weird she was able to control Cheng’s Demon? Even her beauty is one of a kind” Thiago said.
“Are you admiring her beauty now?” Supriya asked jealousy.
“Of course not Supriya. There’s is something about her that I have to find out” Thiago said, and both Queen Anjali and Supriya looks at him.

⟨ NIGHT ⟩
“Cheng, I’m fine, you don’t have to go to the palace” Tatiana said blocking his path.
Cheng got furious after he saw the wound on Tatiana’s lips, and he wants nothing more but to make Thiago pay for hurting her.
“No you are not fine Tiana. That brother of mine dare raise his hand to slap you. Back then, I used to tolerate everything he used to do to me, but I won’t let what he did to you slide, and I won’t mind using my dark powers on him” Cheng said trying to leave, but Tatiana hugged him.
“I didn’t come here so you can confront your brother because of what he did to me, I came here because I missed you so much Cheng, so don’t go to the main palace, you’re going to make them h@të you the more” Tatiana said.
Cheng sighs and broke the hug, looking at her injured lips.
“Does it hurt?” He asked with a worried voice.
“No, not at all” Tatiana said.
Cheng pressed her injured lip and she winced in pain. “You’re lying, it hurts. Thiago needs to hear from me” He said trying to leave again, but Tatiana stops him.
“Can you please calm down? it’s just a bruise”.
“I can’t calm down Tiana, that no good brother of mine hurt my bride” Cheng said.
“Your bride?” Tatiana asked.
“Yes. You’re my bride Tiana” Cheng said and Tatiana smiled, blushing.
“The next time they dare to hurt you, I won’t mind killing all of them” Cheng said.
“You will kill them because of me?” Tatiana asked.
“You’re the only one who is important to me Tiana, and I won’t mind using my dark powers on them wrongly, if that’s the only way to save you” Cheng said.
“Awww, I never knew a demon can be so romantic” Tatiana said and Cheng smiles and held her hand.
“Let’s go in, I’ll treat your wounds” He said.
“You won’t use your powers to heal me?” She asked.
“No, because I want to be romantic to my bride” Cheng said and both looked at each other smiling.

“Doesn’t it hurt?” Cheng asked, as he treats her wound.
“Yes it does” Tatiana answers childishly, and Cheng kiss her lightly on the lips.
“What was the kiss for?” She asked smiling.
“To reduce the pain” He said with his charming smile, and Tatiana giggles, She wanted to tell him about how she magically threw the sword from Thiago’s hand, but she chose not to tell him.
“Kiss me again, it still hurts so much” Tatiana said pouting her lips and Cheng pecked her pouted lips. He smiled at her, before interlocking his lips on hers, kissing her deeply and passionately.

⟨ THE FOLLOWING DAY ≈ NARMANDA’S CHAMBER ⟩
“Here is the tea you ask for Princess Narmada” Tatiana said dropping the tray of tea for her on the table.
“Thanks Tatiana” Narmada said with a sullen face.
“Is everything okay with you princess Narmada? You look sad” Tatiana said.
Narmada sighs and said. “I made a terrible mistake Tatiana. If he finds out that I lied to him, he’s going to h@të me for sure, and this is all Cheng’s fault” Narmada said.
“Cheng?” Tatiana asked.
“Forget it. Since I already made him believe a lie, I will keep on acting like a commoner in front of him” Narmada said and drinks the tea.
Tatiana watched her she drinks the tea, wondering what she was blaming Cheng for.
Slowly, Narmada began to feel unease and she felt so much pains in her stomach.
“Princess Narmada, are you all right?” Tatiana asked.
“What… did you… put in… my tea” Narmada stuttered and dark blood gushed out of her mouth.
“Princess Narmada” Tatiana called her, but before she could rush to where Narmada was, Narmada lost consciousness.
“Princess Narmada! Somebody please help!!” Tatiana shouted.
Harlow and Supriya enters Narmada’s room with some palace bodyguard.
“Arrest her, she poisoned the princess” Harlow said.
“What are you talking about? I didn’t poison princess Narmada” Tatiana defended herself.
“But you were the one who serve her that tea, right? So it clearly means you poisoned her, take her and lock her up in the dungeon” Supriya orders, and the bodyguards got hold of Tatiana.
“Let go of me. I didn’t poisoned her, I didn’t” Tatiana said with a crying voice as she was being taken away by the palace bodyguard.
Tatiana was throwned inside the dungeon with great force, and she winces in pain, hurting her knee.
“You are heartless for poisoning an innocent and kind princess like Narmada!!!” Harlow shouted at her.
“I didn’t do it, stop accusing me for a crime I didn’t do” Tatiana said crying.
“Thiago said you possessed some magic powers, let’s see if you can be able to save yourself now. Begin with the whipping” Supriya commanded, and the bodyguards did as they were instructed, and whipped Tatiana so hard with snake whips.
“Cheng!!!” She scream out his name painfully.
