Jake sighed heavily to call down and unclenched his fists “i will”he said and the king smirked including his brothers.
“He think it’s funny using me to gain powers when he said am useless??”he thought angrily.
“I should leave now”he how slightly and walk out angrily and the king didn’t try to stop him either.
He walked out of the royal court and few steps away leaned against a pillar and punch it angrily.
The pillar collapse nearly immediately but he doesn’t seem to care at all and his hand seem to be bleeding too.
The king knew he can never stood up to MENTRUS so he decided to use him?? He’s so angry about this.
“I conquered so many empires for him,and now he is too greedy that he want to gain allies with the strongest empire by using me!”he said within grinned tooth.
The guards moved far away from him after he got the pillar and it collapse,they knew better not to move close to him when he’s in this kind of mood.
Juliana saw him hitting the pillar and sighed “he’s terribly strong”she muttered and start walking towards him.
The guards try to make eyes contact to signal to her not to go close but she didn’t even look at them once.
“Your hand is bleeding”she said and he look at her ,he seem surprised and taken back, probably because he didn’t know she’s near already.
“Am fine don’t worry”he simply said and turn around to walk away but stopped when he felt juliana’s hands wrap around his waist.
“Juli”he was cut short when she placed her head on his back while hugging him tightly from behind.
“Thank u for saving my life,,,,i thought i will die but u saved me,,,, thanks”she said and disengaged from the hug.
Jake turn back to face her still pretty shocked by what she did”thanks”she said and walk away.
“What is she doing to me?? Why am I so attracted to her and why does my demon like her ?”he mumbled.
He look around and his eyes met with his mom standing some distance from him,he now slightly and walk away.

“Why little sis,do u h@të the young prince??”charlie asked and i just shook my head negatively.
“No,,,it’s just that”i stopped remembering heren who is obsessed with Jake,she tried to kill me once what if she try it again?? And what if jake didn’t save me?
“Am just scared he might have many mistresses in the future”i lied even though that’s completely opposite to what am thinking.
My brothers chuckled at this “even if he does,u are his wife not a mistress and that will never change”chartlie said and Charlie nods too.
“Fine”i mumbled and they smiled before hugging me”don’t worry”they both said and i smiled “you did well,,i love ur bravery so much “father said and i smiled.
“Don’t u think peince Jake is more handsome than his brothers? Just like I’m more handsome than the two of u”cate said and everyone burst into laughter.
“Yh,my son is really handsome”mom said and “yes,that’s because he look just like me”dad said and we all laugh again.
“Whose room is this tho”charlie asked looking round the room “mine and thus is prince Jake’s quarter”i replied.
“Really??”mom asked and i nods “his room is next to mine”i replied “then where is he? He can’t possibly be in his room and listen to us laughing and shouting like this”mom said.
“Let me check”i said and walk out of the room and walk straight into Jake’s room and met him sitting alone on the bed.
“What are u here?”he asked and his voice sounding so cold”my mom want to see u”i replied zkd he look at me then look away at once.
“Leave i will be there”he said and i nods before leaving his room and went back to mine .
“Is he in?”mom asked and i nods “yes he will be here soon”i replied .
Soon the door opened and jake walk in with his hair covering his left eye and i don’t really understand why he live covering his left eye so much.
He sat at some distance from all of us and i look up at him giving him a questioning look if not glare.
“Am here why that look?”he frowned and everyone look at my face “i mean why are u sitting at such a distance,u can move closer to us”i said.
“Yes,common,we are all families now”mom said but he didn’t even say a word “i think it’s much better if I stay isolated”he replied leaving everyone confused except me.

What are they trying to make me feel good hy saying am also a member of their family? I don’t want to hear that word “family”it’s more like a curse to me.
They start to chitchat again like a family which they are, something i always wished for but has never been fulfilled and i dint think it will be soon.
That talk about random things,laughs smile and tease each other but i didn’t want to join so as not to be a curse to this family too.
Joining their conversation,i might bring in my curse and ruin their smiles too so I should just watch them like this.
“Jake Join us”a little boy said,he look just like his brothers “he’s a prince cate”the queen corrected him and i smiled but quickly hid it.
“Are u ok prince? You can join us”the king said”no am fine,,”i said and look away.
“I should leave”i said and walk out of the room without waiting for anyone to reply me.
I walk straight to the garden and sat down among the flowers ,it felt like a stab in the chest sometimes.
I really wished for this but to everyone am just a curse and a tool to gain powers,why can’t my family like me too??
