He stare in horror at him and trembled but his conscious mind quickly tell him to beg for his life and not just stare at this man.
He immediately went down on his knees almost tearing up with fear “please forgive me,i won’t do this again”he begged.
“Oh, really? “He sneered at the man who now look like a trembling ragdoll on the floor and he can’t help but feel his anger raising.
The king could only nod his head and dare not look up at the face of the devil himself.
He doesn’t look at all scary but there’s a terrifying aura following his every speech and step as he move closer to the king,his eyes flashing a mixed flame and golden.
He stopped few steps to the king and look down at the old man “you are still useful so I won’t kill you just yet”his face lighten up with an evil grin.
“Make jake look for heren by all cost,inform him he must find her at any cost”he said and the king just nodded not daring to say a single word again.
He gave him one more sneer look and disappeared just like he appeared.
The king at first couldn’t believe he really left like that without causing any trouble or killing him.
His mind went off to eighteen years ago when this man,the darkness himself first make an appearance in this empire.
“The last queen is finally pregnant,i can’t believe it”
“Me neither, she’s so pretty”
“Now her maids are going to be changed or multiplied,i wish to be among her maids,it will be such a great achievement serving the king’s favorite queen and most beautiful queen”
These were the gossips going on in the entire palace as the king finally announced his last wife is pregnant.
He married the strange beauty some months back and even though it was an arranged and forced marriage,the last queen didn’t object to it.
Everyone know how the king married this beautiful maiden by force even though she didn’t want to but no one expect her to be pregnant with the king’s child in just few months.
“My lady,sit down please”the maids said as it’s time for her morning bath but she look sad and have a gloomy expression on her face.
They couldn’t help but feel scared that one of them might have said or do something wrong to the queen.
“I don’t want to have a hot bath today,prepare a cold bath”her tone was emotionless and this is new to the maids but at the end they decided that it must be ger pregnancy mood swings .

Months past and the queen’s pregnancy clocked 8 and half month,the palace was in full celebration moods as everyone can’t wait to see the prince or princess.
But of course,there are people who are not only sad about this but extremely angered by the situation.
They wished for only one thing and that’s the child should be born dead or both mother and child die during labor.
These people are no other than the other queens who have being stripped off their favoritism from the king because of Queen Mia.
“Where is she sneaking to so late at night?”queen Nuna frowned as well as the two other queens.
“Let’s follow her,who knows? Maybe she’s sneaking to her lover”the eldest queen said and theu agreed to follow her.
They did and succeeded without getting caught but what they discovered leave them speechless.
She did met with a man but it was as if he knew their plan to follow Mia and look straight at their hiding place commanding them to come out.
They feel nothing but fear as they walk into view and Mia gasped but not in shock but with a mix of fear and uneasiness.
She knew them and she knew this man won’t spare them for sneaking up on them but yet she tried her luck and beg for their lives .
He released them and they ran back to the palace but instead of thinking about the near death experience they had,they all went to the king and told him everything.
He didn’t believe them but when he got to Mia’s chamber, she’s not inside and her bed is cold which state that she didn’t left the room just a while ago but for a long time.

When Mia returned to the palace the next day and sneaked into her room, she was frightened and shocked to see the king waiting in her chamber.
He confronted her about the reports he got and when she couldn’t defend herself,he angrily kicked her stomach.
“How dare you cheat? I will kill that bastard in your womb”he yelled angrily but somehow he calmed down and stare dagger at her.
He left the room but ordered a house arrest for Mia, she was not allowed to leave her room or go anywhere until labor.
She went into labor on the third day of her house arrest and when she gave birth to a boy,most of the people who knew nothing about what happened are happy for her until the king ordered the new born baby’s execution.
In the law,they can not leave a sword,dagger or any harmful mark on a baby’s body including when they want to kill he or she so the baby will have to be thrown down from the palace tower or the empire’s tower.
Many couldn’t understand the sudden madness from the king and decided to protest against the execution of the baby boy.
