Jake stare at the three men in shock,the aura they released are too strong even though they look calm and composed.
“What can i do for you…… brothers??”he raised an eyebrow and the three men look at each other than laugh quietly.
“Well, you are one brave and cute fellow”fayr was the one who talked first then smile charmingly at jake then cast a quick and short glance at Juliana.
“Where are our manners, let me introduce us “fayr quickly added with a broad smile that look rather cold and creepy.
“I’m fayr”the grey haired one said “and this is my brother fah’n”he added pointing to the dark haired man then faced the green haired one “and this is our oldest brother,prad’h”he smiled.
“I don’t mean to sound rude but you just killed one of our escort for no god d@mn reason and now you are acting all sweet, what the hell is this all about”juliana said.
They were rather surprised that she’s not scared of them but even have the gut to talk to them this way “she’s interesting”fah’n smirked.
“What do you guys want?”jake asked indifferently but with caution too. They are much more stronger than he is and he won’t want to provoke them.
“Liam,shuan,move back”jake said and the two guys look at themselves but do as their prince said but they only move back within four feets not wanting to move too far.
“We are actually here for something really simple and maybe easy or hard”prad’h moved closer to them.
“Father…”he was saying but jake stopped him “i don’t care wh@tëver he said or want, I’m not going with you guys, you can go back to tell him i don’t want anything he wants to give me” Jake cut him off.
“Really?? He wants you to become the new ruler of the whole demon realm, that’s one big position no one will ever want to loose….. little brother”prad’h smirked cunningly.
“And what make you think i will want that?”Jake frowned looking at the three men in front of him but theu didn’t reply immediately.
They were taken aback by this,the main reason they still want to get rid of him was because they thought if he finds out the reason their father wants him to come,he will accept the position.
The position isn’t something anyone who have the opportunity would want to loose or eveb my reject so carelessly.
“Do you realize how many benefits will become yours if you become the ruler?”fayr asked,not wanting to believe he will really reject such position.
Jake didn’t say a word to that and it seems like he was thinking about something.
“I know there must be some greediness in your heart, trying to pretend after you loose the things here? Surely you won’t want to miss an opportunity to rule all the mythical creatures “prad’h sneered in his thought.
Juliana on the other hand glared at the men “what’s your game? Your fathee wants your youngest brother to rule over you and you are here to persuade him? I bet not”she stare at them looking rather fearless and extremely cold for a lady.
“Of course, he’s our brother right?”fah’n said “oh,i see,your brother “she laughed and look at jake.
“I already said i don’t want it”he said after a long silence”Bîtch trying to make him change his mind and not show his greed? I will k*ll you before him if you say another word”prad’h was burning with inner anger.
“How about i show you something?”fah’n said and immediately create a luxurious illusion showing the fortunes of the demons and the powers their father have and controls.
“He’s really powerful and he’s ready to give all that power to you and look at the luxury, the wealth,the beautiful maiden,the creatures that will only listen to your command, don’t you want this “he asked trying to get into his head but Valdez growl at him .
Fayr realised jake still wasn’t interested and decided to possessed Julie”common beauty, don’t you want that? They will become yours if you decided to persuade him”he said inside her head.
Juliana groan in pain holding her head and jake immediately break loose from the illusion and rush to her.
“There must be this greediness in his heart,i will give it a slight push then,i just need him to admit it,he might be a future problem for me even if he doesn’t want the throne, what if he suffers much later and then decided to come to the demons,father will surely still want him then,i can only get rid of him now”prad’h thought.
“ENOUGH!”they all heard a loud and angry voice and the three men knew who it was immediately but they act indifferently but deep down they are scared of that voice.
Jake was the fisrt to move away while holding julie tightly to himself while looking at the man he’s an exact copy of.
“What do you three think you are doing to your brother?”he asked,his cold face sending chill down their bodies.
Prad’h didn’t want to show any weakness in front of him knowing how much their father h@të cowardly acts.
“Jake is scared,if i faced him without fear,maybe he will just consider”he thought and straighten up his back proudly.
“We are testing him father,how can he refused your good fatherly act like that? I just wanted ro know if he’s lying and won’t come crawling back to beg you”he said proud of his lies.
“You don’t really look like what they said you are, except for the dangerous aura you bring,o don’t find anything scary about you”juliana said while fayr smirked.
He knew his father h@të when someone made mention of this kind of things, it’s like an insult to him and that’s why he possessed her to say it.
Jake’s heart start throbbing hard against his chest as the devil turn to their direction pouring out the dangerous aura in him.
“She.. she didn’t mean that”he tried to defend her but didn’t let her out of his grip either .
“Mortals sure have sharp tongue”he said and a burst of energy appeared around him as he throw a slight punch from where he’s standing.
Valdez felt the energy behind the light punch and make jake take a quick action of pushing julie aside slightly while taking the hit.
The hit was so brutal that he splat out a mouthful of blood and groan as he tried to stand up again.
“Mates as i said are nothing but weakness, you even decided to take the hit for her doings”he laughed then sneered.
“Jake!”julie came back to her senses and tried to rush to jake who was thrown some feets back nearly missing a big tree behind him.
“My prince!!”liam and shuan also shouted but the two are unable to even move a leg from where they were standing .
The three sons of the devil watch as julie rushed towards Jake and as expected from their father,he threw her off like a piece of trash.
She was thrown hard against a tree and groan in pain as she landed against it hardly and roughly.
“What the hell are you doing? Don’t you dare hurt julie”jake yelled standing up angrily and it seems Valdez took over his body.
“I see,your mother’s chain is still in your body,the chains that was used to lock her powers and the one she used to locked yours too”the devil chuckled and smirked.
“Look like it’s time for you to realise you are never a human and will never be able to live comfortably as one”he said.
“Father,his energy is increasing”prad’h said. He’s not the oldest for nothing,he was able to quickly detect something is going on with jake.
“And you mortal,you will stand in my way if you live after today”he said and raised Julie from the ground while staring at her.
He point his left hand towards her lifting her off the ground completely and then she felt a force squeezing her throat.
Jake and valdez tried to do something but it felt as if the sudden changed of energy in them is chaining them down.
He’s feeling pain and power at the same time,he screamed in pain and wail on the ground as he watch julie struggling to breathe.
“Let heren fisnish this,after he wake up,in his mind the human sent her to kill his mate,make the illusion fah’n”the devil said and fah’n nodded.
Heren appeared and look around in shock at her sudden change of environment, few seconds ago she was in the prison in the demon realm.
The devil dropped julie who keep gasping for air and left leaving the rest to his sons and fah’n immediately cast the illusion.
“You always want her dead, she’s the reason Jake didn’t like you back,this is your chance,kill her and jake will be yours”prad’h pushed out her dark intentions and she stare dagger at Julie who’s already dying on the ground.
“We will get jake later, let’s leave”fayr said and they all teleport away from the scene while jake stare as heren took a dagger lying next to the dead Quan and moved to Julie.
She’s too weak to fight back and heren raised the dagger and without a second wasted stabbed her heart.
Jake screamed and growls like an animal before passing out while the other two prince guard stare in horror.
Heren stare at julie who stopped breathing at once with a victorious smile on her face “it’s all your fault,if you haven’t came into our life chapter,jake would have considered me and love only me”she sneered and stab the dead Julie once anger.

?Demon realm?
“Father,heren stabbed her before Jake closed his eyes and passed out”fah’n said and their father nodded.
“She is useless now,her part ends here,jake surely won’t spare the one who killed his mate”he replied them.
“But won’t he realised we were there before and suspect it’s our doings?”fayr asked and his father laughed.
“No silly,the chain of doom doesn’t work that way,the moment it’s used to lock the power of a creature,it can never be broken but when it did,the person forget every single details of the life he was leaving except for the last scene he saw before passing out”he replied them then stood up .
“Jake’s powers are unlocked now,do not try to provoke him or persuade him until he decided he’s not human in his heart and come to the demon world himself “they nodded also realizing jake won’t be the same when he woke up.

A loud inhuman howling was heard and jake slowly opened his eyes and the first thing his eyes met with is the dead body of a lady lying not really far from him.
The pleasant scent he gives make him realized she’s special but then he stopped seeing another lady rushing to him.
“You are awake jake”that was heren, she killed the two prince guards that were rooted to the ground hoping to clear the scene.
Jake look at Julie’s body one more time and a scene flashed in his head and he growls at this.
His gaze became sharp and he stood up as if nothing had happened to him and rush to Julie “our mate, she’s dead?”even valdez doesn’t remember anything.
The scene flashes again this time a lot clearer than the first time and he turn to look at heren who was waiting for him.
In her opinion Jake won’t remember anything so she can feed him some lies and make them be together.
But when jake held her neck tightly and raise her above the ground,she started panicking.
“How dare you!”he yelled,his eyes bloodshot as he squeeze her throat angrily.
His claws sharply appeared and they flashed across her neck splitting opened her throat and her eyes were open widely in shock and a last gasp escaped her lips before jake threw her body away and bend down beside julie.

?Weeks later ?
Jake stare at the innocent woman and her little child he just killed out of anger and back away from the scene.
After the day he saw his dead mate and the scene that show she was killed by a human, whenever a human came or passed by the forest,he just felt the sudden anger to kill them and he just did.
“I’m loosing it,i killed her already,i killed the one who killed my mate then why this?”he asked no one particularly and backed away into the deep forest again.
?Few days later?
He stare at the dead body of the man he killed and calm down finally “this can’t continue,i don’t belong here”he mumbled shaking his head while backing against a tree.
After he calmed down,he look into the space and a portal appeared “the demon realm is my home”with him saying that,he went into the portal never to return to the human world again.
