Cali’s Pov:
The boys gripped me immediately and started
walking out of the room with me.
“No. Let me go” I said feebly and tried struggling
with them, but their grip around me was too
strong and firm.
Then, I tried using my powers, but…..
No; what just happened? Why couldn’t I feel my
powers anymore?
I panicked, but the boys didn’t seem to care as
they continued walking away with me, taking
the same route Mykel was taking.
Finally, we got to a room and they pushed me
in. It was a complete dazzling bedroom and
Mykel was there as well.
The boys left after arriving with me and I was
left alone with Mykel.
Gosh! I felt so scared.
How do I get out of here? And where could
Miquel be?
Mykel turned to look at me, then walked over to
the small dining there in the room.
“Come on, Cali. Have a seat” he said, but I didn’t
make a move.
He uncovered the plates on the table and took
up his cutleries.
“Why are you keeping me here?” I forced myself
to ask.
“What do you want from me?”
He acted mute and started eating from one of
the numerous dishes.
“Miquel will come for me soon. You should let
me go while you still can” I said and gulped
nervously and he laughed.
“Poor Cali” he sighed.
“I h@të to be the bearer of this news but,
Miquel’s never coming back, love. He’s gone”.
My brows arched as I stared at him in
confusion. What’s he talking about?
He chuckled and looked down at his meal.
“Come on, Cali. Your meal’s getting cold” he
stated casually.
“Wh….What’re you talking about? What do you
mean he’s gone?” I asked in ultimate confusion
and immediately, he threw his fork at me, in a
way it landed straight into my arm.
“Arghhh” I yelped in pains and held my bleeding
arm with the other.
Oh my God!
“Stop making me repeat myself, Cali. Now, for
the last time, come and have a seat” he said
icily, but I didn’t move as hurtful tears streamed
down my cheeks.
I held the fork and going through so much
pains, I pulled it out of my arm.
I winced and threw the stained fork on the floor,
then stared at him.
He had an evil grin on his face.
What have I gotten into?
Immediately, I turned around and ran for the
door.
Holy Christ. Please,help me.
I got to the door and tried opening it, but
disappointedly, it wouldn’t open up.
I turned the knob tiredlessly, but it didn’t open
up.
Then, I turned to look at him and he was already
on his feet.

Diane’s Pov:
The entire city was chaotic as students were
being rushed to the clinic. Many moved around
with big injuries on one part of them – just like
me.
I had a big cut on my left arm. But I decided not
to go to the clinic for it. The mission was a
failure.
Rumors were going around that Miquel was
missing. I mean..we couldn’t find him during the
course of the mission. Where could he be?
I managed to drag my feet along and thankfully,
I spotted Nina.
“Hey! Nina! Nina!” I called out to her and thank
goodness she heard me and turned to my
direction.
She seemed to be in haste.
“Di….Diane” she stuttered and rushed over.
She had a bag with her.
“Hey; Wat’s up? You….you’re injured?” She asked
and I just nodded, breathing heavily.
“Please, help me. Take me to my room” I said
weakly, but the look on her face….she seemed
reluctant.
“Um….actually, I was on my way to….I was
actually in a hurry, Diane. I have to do
something” she bubbled, making me amused.
“Are you kidding me,Nina? I’m in pains and
you’re thinking of something else?” I asked and
she sighed uncomfortably.
“O…..okay. Come on”.
She wrapped her hand around my shoulder and
started aiding me to walk.
Ah! At least, this is better.
Gosh! My waist…
My legs…everywhere f*”king place was hurting
like hell.
“Sorry about the wounds” Nina said as we
trudged along and I murdered a *thank you*
I felt so weak.
Suddenly, I heard a strange sound…like the
sound of something vibrating.
And it was coming from Nina’s bag.
Hold on…….
Isn’t that a phone???”
