“You won’t do it” she said with a silly pretty smile.
“I don’t joke with my words, pretty witch” he said seriously and she mirrored his face with a tinted smile.
“I won’t take it, I don’t like the smell, Abel” she said.
In her mind, she wanted to taste how his lips would feel on her lips, how sweet it would be.
Their eyes locked after she made that statement and they started staring at each other.
The passion filled in their eyes created a wide wave around them, sparks filled there.
His lips started coming closer to her and her heart started beating so fast in anticipation. Her eyes quickly went shut, her lips pouted as she waited for his lips to land on her.
Abel’s lips inched closer and closer and when he was almost kissing her a sound interrupted the moment and they came back to their senses.
Her eyes opened and she looked at him.
“What happened?” she asked.
“I don’t know” he replied and stood up, he walked closer to the door, his eyes glowed brightly and he chuckled.
“It’s a rat” he said and she frowned.
“Why are you frowning?” he asked, walking to her.
“It just interrupted a special moment” she replied and he smiled.
“What special moment?” he asked teasingly and she quickly looked away shyly, She shouldn’t have said that.
“I… Forget I ever said anything like that” she bit her lips.
“I can’t forget it” he said.
“Pretend you didn’t hear me saying it”
“I’m sorry I don’t know how to pretend” he smirked and sat beside her.
“Look at me” he said and she slowly looked at him. He quickly kissed her eyes, and her face turned red. She wanted to look away again but he held her face with a hand and kissed her forehead.
“Please, just drink the soup” he said with a puppy face and she pouted.
“Please” he said with a tiny voice and she laughed.
“What is funny?” he asked.
“The voice you used” she smiled and he came closer, their faces mirroring.
Their hearts started beating so fast at the same time, and they started staring again.
Abel broke the contact after getting himself back.
He took the cup and gave it to her, Salome looked at the cup and made a sad face.
“Just try it, drink it at once” he said, sounding so cute that she couldn’t resist.
“Doing it because of you” she said funnily and he smiled.
She took the cup and brought it closer to her nose, she almost puked but she forced herself to drink it, gulping it down at once.
He took the cup from her.
“How was it?” he asked.
“It only has a foul smell but it’s not bitter” she replied and he stroked her hair like a child’s.
She smiled, bringing out her cute dentition.
“You were attacked yesterday, you need to learn how to master your powers and how to protect yourself” he said, still stroking her hair.
“I know ,why don’t you teach me?” she said.
“I think the right time will come for that” he smiled and she nodded.
“No morning training?” she asked.
“The training will come later, it’s later in the day, the masters will announce it” he replied and she got down from the bed.
“You are leaving?” he asked.
“I want to see my friends, they will be looking for me but if you don’t want to, I will be here” she replied and he smiled.
“No, you can go, you need to freshen up, I will see you tonight so we can read together, I will come to get you” he said and she folded her lips.
“I like your room”
“You are free to come here anytime, pretty” he said and she came closer, hugging him at once. He hugged her back, tightly and she inhaled much of his scent, he started stroking her back.
SALOME’S ROOM•
Minerva moved on the bed and her eyes opened weakly.
She sat up gently and rubbed her eyes. She looked beside her and found the space beside her empty.
“Where is Salome? Where did she went to?” she asked in a low voice.
She stood up from the bed and came down, her legs wobbled and she felt so weak.
she started walking to the bathroom when the door opened and Salome came inside.
“Salome” she smiled.
“Crazy vampire” Salome said and hugged her.
“I smell Abel on you” Minerva said.
“I slept in his room” Salome said and Minerva looked at her and started smiling.
“It’s not what you are thinking, we didn’t do anything” she said.
“I didn’t say anything”
“I know you, pervert minded” Salome said and they laughed.
“I was attacked by a shadow yesterday” Salome said and Minerva gasped.
“What!”
“Are you okay? Did you sustain any injury, are you alright?” Minerva asked at once, checking her body.
“I’m fine” Salome said.
“Fine” she sighed.
“Abel found me and took me to my room. I found out today that I’m a healer” Salome said.
“Wow, you are a special breed, not all witches are healers” Minerva said.
“Are you still suffering from the allergic reaction?”
“No, I’m fine but I need blood to get my strength back” she replied.
“You can drink my blood”
“Hell no, I don’t drink human blood, I drink animal blood” Minerva said.
“Going for breakfast?”
“I don’t think so”
“I won’t be going” Salome said.
“Don’t try it” Minerva said and Salome started laughing.

“Where is Salome and Minerva?” Molly asked as she came out of the room with the guys.
“They will probably be sleeping”
“No morning training” Jill said.
“Lazy @$$, foodie” Mara hit his head.
“Ouch, Mara” Jill pouted like a girl.
“Pout again and I will kiss you” Mara said.
“Are you crushing on him?” Loveth said.
“Wh@tëver” Mara rolled eyes.
“Megan is with Alfred right?” Jill asked.
“I don’t think so, I saw Ramos with him last night, drinking” Molly said.
“She apologized to Apollo yesterday”
“He’s avoiding her”
“Do you think she likes him?” Mara asked.
“What about Alfred?”
“Let’s leave the talk and go for breakfast, I’m starving” Jill said and everyone faced him.
“Foodie” they shouted.
“Guys” Salome showed up alone.
“Girl” the guys chorused.
“Where is Minerva?” Molly asked.
“She is slightly sick” Salome replied.
“Huh!”
“Don’t worry about her, she will be fine, let’s go” Salome smiled and they started walking away.
…..
“Ain’t you going for breakfast?” Ramos asked Alfred.
“I don’t know” Alfred replied and Ramos glared at him.
“Don’t kill me with your eyes please” Alfred said, and Ramos pushed him down from the bed with his eyes. He landed on the floor.
“Ramos!!” Alfred yelled.
“Bastard” Ramos said.
“I’m leaving for breakfast” Ramos said and started walking out.
“Wait for me, idiot” Alfred stood up and went out with him.
They came out and they started walking away when he saw Megan.
“Superior Alfred” she called and appeared before him.
“Superior Ramos” she greeted.
“Megan, catch me later” Ramos smiled and walked away.
“Are you okay?” Alfred asked.
“You still care about me?” Megan rolled eyes.
“Let’s meet tonight” he smiled and walked away.
THE CAFETERIA•
The cafeteria was filled up with the disciples and the servers were seen walking around and serving the disciples on each table.
The girls came into the cafeteria and sat down on her usual spot. The servers came to them and started serving them immediately.
Apollo came inside with Paul and they sat down.
Megan came in and joined them.
“Where have you been?” Loveth asked.
“With Alfred” Mara said and Megan said nothing.
“I’m hungry” she said as she was served.
“Why won’t you be hungry” Molly rolled eyes and Megan’s eyes looked up. Her eyes met with Apollo but he wasn’t staring at her like he usually does. She bit her lips and continued eating sadly.
“What’s taking Salome time to get here?” Mara asked.
She excused herself earlier to use the toilet so they came here without her.
Jason and John joined them and no matter how Molly tried to avoid Jason’s eyes, she ended up looking at him but he avoided her eyes and started eating as they were served.
They were eating when Loveth choked on her food, Paul and John gave her water at the same time.
“Here” they said at the same time, pointing the cup at her.
Everyone stopped eating and started looking at them.
Loveth looked at them and took her cup, drinking from it.
“Thank you guys” she smiled awkwardly and Megan smirked at her with a knowing smirk.
“I don’t think the superiors are eating breakfast” Jill said after finishing two bowels.
“I think so but don’t fart today” Mara said and everyone laughed at him.
“You are quiet, what is it?” Paul asked Apollo and Megan looked at him.
“I want to start practicing silence” he said.
Rain came in that moment with Maria, with her usual proud steps she walked to the superior table with Maria. She smiled vilely when she didn’t see Salome in the cafeteria. She will be wallowing in excruciating pain by now.
“Don’t mess with me next time” she said in her mind. She walked to the table and sat down with Maria.
“She will be feeling high about herself right now” John said.
“A lapdog to her” Apollo said.
“Where is Minerva and Salome? I haven’t seen them” Jason asked.
” Minerva is slightly sick and Salome is on her way here” Loveth replied.
“Here she is” Mara smiled as Salome came inside.
Rain was eating with Maria when Maria looked up and saw Salome in the cafeteria. Her eyes widened.
She should be in pain, she shouldn’t be walking. The poisoned immobilized someone too,so what the f*ck happened, how’s possible.
“Salome” Maria said and Rain looked up. The food entering her throat hung there as she saw Salome healthy and well.
“What!!” Rain choked and started coughing badly with wide eyes.
