“How do you want it? Heads off or ripping apart,” Kalinda asked
“Ka…lin….da,” She heard Jeffrey’s weak voice and looked back
Jeffrey saw when the commander ask his men to shoot Kalinda, he couldn’t let her die, at least not now.
Even though he knows she was destined to die but not when she needs to know how he felt towards her.
Kalinda is known to be vigilant at all times, she was still shocked at Jeffrey’s attitude and confession that she didn’t notice when the man shoot the arrow, he pushed her aside and the arrow find its way into his chest.
“Jeff,” she called and bent beside him
“Ka….. Kalin… Kalinda, Are you…. alright?” He asked instead
“Jeff, are you crazy? Why would you….”
“Shhh,” he didn’t let her finish
“It’s nothing, what matters is that you are fine,” he said in pain
“Is it all my fault? if anything happens to you Jeff, am not gonna forgive me, she said with so much agony in her eyes
“The only family I have left is lying in his pool of blood all because of me, why do I have to be born with such an I’ll fate?” Kalinda thought silently
A tear dropped from her eyes
Jeffrey was surprised, she never cries, and seeing her tears right now shatter his heart But what happened next shocked the living hell out of him
Immediately her tears touches the grand, everywhere started shaking, he was surprised and confused together at the same time
the dizziness was too much that he couldn’t hold on any longer, his eyes suddenly close but he refuse to let the sleep overtake him
“Jeff,” He felt her hand tapping his cheeks
“Jeff” she called again but he still can’t move, not even a finger
Then came a mighty voice
“No!! Jeff, please don’t leave me,” she cried but he was too weak to open my eyes
He is fighting hard to keep his eyes open but sleep was hitting him hard
She shake his body but he couldn’t respond
“Jeff….. Jeff.. please come back” Kalinda cried more
“No !! she cried out again then came a mighty wind
it was as if the winds obey her voice, the branches of every tree around her started falling off, her eyes turn to red
She scan the whole place with her eyes and smile, a very bitter smile.
“So because you came with only 60 men, you think you can mess with my best friend?” She asked with bitterness in her voice
The Commander scoffed
“Are you done with the loving dog,” he asked and Laughed
Kalinda was silent, her eyes balls red like the flame of fire
“Follow us in peace or you will be the next to fall, and no one will cry for you,” The commander mocked
“You just made the worst mistake of your life;” She said moving towards them
Her eyes caught fire as her veins popped up, her hair flew up and the only thing in her head was to kill
The immortal creature inside her is in control
The warriors saw the different creature standing before them, and they became scared, so scared that she no longer look like a human being
they shift back in fear
She threw her sword up, it flew up and she watch as it started coming down, Kalinda opened her right palm and caught it
With a swift move, 7 warriors went down
“No one mess with my best friend, not even the Gods,” her voice sounded like a thundered crack
“Kill her,” The commander ordered
His warriors moved towards her at full speed, but it was as if she was fighting with a million strength
With each slit she brought down 10 men, jumping and leaping in the air, she started shooting at every Live thing she sees, and in ten minutes, she has already brought 40 men’s heads down
She didn’t stab them, she was cutting off their head and ripped them apart
Another team move towards her but she was too fast to double kick the one at the front on his chest, and he drop dead straight
She dropped her sword and pick a set of an arrow, then she started running
“Look there she is trying to escape” a warrior shooted, but before the others could start chasing her, an arrow came straight to his mouth and he drop dead at once
“Learn how to shut your mouth for once, fool,” Kalinda said agitated
Looking to her left side she saw a tree and jumped on it, then start releasing the arrows, taking down The army one after another
Her moves were incredible, she didn’t even give them time to attack, it was as if she was a spirit being
seeing that she has brought down 55 men, she decides is time to step down
The rest move towards her, the first man release his arrow but she was too fast to dough it, giving him a quick kick which send the others down with him
She took a steady step towards them, picking up her sword she looked at them
“Kill each other, it’s an order,” Came her scary voice
Without wasting time they all drop dead, living their commander behind.
The Commander shifted back
Seeing her angry face he made to run but she was too fast to catch him
“Ah.. ah commander, not so soon. We still have to talk, why are you in a hurry?” She said tapping his shoulder
She pushed him down and he looked at her face
“You will not get anything from me,” he said
“We’ll see about that,” but first I want you to imagine seeing your wife and kids’ blood on your hands, I believe you have family,” she said, a dangerous smirk lingering on her face
“What do you mean? He asked with worry written all over this face
“Give me the names,” She said instead
“Which names? I don’t have any name, I don’t know what you are talking about?” He replied trying not to sound suspicious
Hearing a cough beside them, She turn to look at Jeffery, the Commander used that opportunity and brought out a combat knife from his boots then he made to stab her but she was fast enough to notice and held his hand before it will reach her
Kalinda took her hand to his trousers and gently undone his belt
“You should have told me that you didn’t like being watched, I would have told the guards to back off,” the Commander said beaming
releasing his trouser belts, she pulled it out and started flogging him with it
“Argh” he cried out loud
“Please have Mercy” I have a pregnant wife who is waiting for me at home,” the commander begged
“Did you think of her when you were killing my Friend?” Kalinda asked, she didn’t stop
Each lash gave him a cut at his back making him wonder the kind of power she possess. How can a woman be so strong??
But he remains silent
“Answer me!!!” She yelled with so much hatred
“N .. n..o…no…” He stammered
“Good” now let’s get to business,” she said and stopped whipping him
“What business? He asked with a shaky voice
he is already scared that he doesn’t want anything that will get his family involved
“Is simple” you give me what I want and I let you live,” She said
“What do you want? He asked panicking
“Tell me where to find the woman with this drawing, I believe you know her name, and you also know where I can find her,” she said, she brought out a portrait from her inner pocked and position it at his face

“I see,” maybe killing your wife and daughter will get you to talk, she said moving close to her horse
“Please I will tell you but leave my wife and kid please,” he pleaded almost shading tears
“You have 3 minutes to talk,” she said staring at him
“The only one I know is one which they called scorpion, His real name is Zach and he use to be my best friend until he left in search of you, he is currently in a small village in middle East, King Tyrone gave him the order to find you,” he said
“Good to hear,” Kalinda muttered
She tied him around her horse and ride around with him three times. Before she could complete it four he was already dead
she turn to leave but something made her stop, he wasn’t dead cos he said something
His voice is too weak that she didn’t hear all that it was saying
“He knows where to find her,” he said pointing at Jeff
“his.. his.. fa..fa…” That’s all she heard then he gave up the ghost
“Jeff,” she manages to say Staring at him
Kalinda couldn’t believe it, after all these years. How could he hide such a thing from her? She trusted him.
“No it can’t be him, Jeff can’t lie to me. No way,” she said to herself
“But what if he truly knows something,” She heard a voice in her head
