“Why do you summon me Cyprus!” a woman in all black said standing before him
“Mother death, I will make it quick cos am a busy person,” Cyprus said and she maintained a straight face
“You know Habita, the last priestess that dead, you’re the one that received her soul, right?” Cyprus asked
“Since when did I start answering to you?” she return the question
Cyprus left his position and went closer, they were just a few inches apart
“Mother death this is very important to me, I have never offend you or have I?” he asked staring at her
She sighed softly
“Am always present at the time of death,” she replied and he nodded
“Do you know of her grandchild? He died before her and he was just a newborn, you must have received his soul right? Cos I went to the underworld but I didn’t find him there,” Cyprus said
“he must have crossed over to the other side of no return,” she replied simply
“I need to go there, but are you sure that he is there?” Cyprus asked curiously
“If you go over to the other side of no return you will never come back,” she replied and he looked at her
“Then you have to help me, I need him back,” Cyprus said more like pleading
“He can only be reborn….”
“But you can crossover there right?” Cyprus cut in
“Doing my job,” she replied instantly and Cyprus roughed his hair in frustration
“So what do you ask of me? I need that kid, he’s the only one that will make his mother come back to me, tell me anything you want I will do it,” Cyprus said desperately
“He can only be reborn, give me his name,” she replied and Cyprus looked at her
“You should no,” he frowned at her
She stretch out her hand and a big note appeared on her palm
“I took note of different people’s names every minute of the day,” she replied and the big note vanished
“I don’t know his name, but he was blessed with the power to kill gods,” Cyprus replied
“I haven’t felt such energy from the dead,” she muttered and he looked at her sharply
“Are you saying that he’s not dead?’ Cyprus asked, pocking his hand
“What am saying is that he might have crossed over to the other side, but I haven’t felt such energy from the dead,” she replied going over to the door
“Does that mean he’s not dead?” Cyprus asked but she disappeared without answering
Cyprus went back to his throne and sat on it, his hand holding his jaw
“Does that mean that Kalinda lied to me?” he thought silently
“If mother death hasn’t felt such energy it can only mean that he’s alive somewhere or am I overthinking?” Cyprus thought silently
“I should go see her,” He stood up going over to the door

NOBLE MAN’S HOUSE
“Mother,” Draco called walking into the house
“Draco my son, she’s a witch, a witch!!” Jasmine replied, ice on her cheeks
Draco came forward and took the ice then he placed it gently on her burning cheeks
Kalinda’s fingerprint were still visible on her cheeks, one would think she was attacked by a granny monkey or hungry bear
Looking at her right now her face is swollen, her eyes wasn’t left out, her face is so reddish that one would think she’s allergic to slaps
“I can’t see right now, my eyes are still blurry but once I regain my sight I will deal with the daughter of Derek,” Jasmine said enraged
“Mother I will take care of her, you don’t have to worry,” Draco said gently
“What did you say? I can’t hear you please speak louder,” Jasmine shouted, Draco went forward to whisper it into her ears but then his father came in
“Get out of my house,” Baron Smith said instantly
“Father,” Draco called shocked
Without saying another word Baron smith walked up to Draco and grabbed his clothes, he threw him outside and close the door behind
“Smith you can’t….” a dangerous glare from him shut her up
“Do you wish to join him?” he yelled angrily
she kept quiet

“So, you’re my mom now, huh?” Camilla asked and Kalinda just smiled lightly
“I can’t believe I have a young mom,” Camilla added in a mockery tone and Kalinda looked at her
“Are you saying am not old enough to be your mom?” she asked and Camilla frowned at her
“Don’t even go there,” Camilla said, she pouted and looked away
Kalinda who was packing her bags stopped and looked at her
“I can seduce your father and he will marry me then I will become your mom, or just propose to him,” Kalinda said
“Oh, stop it,” Camilla said and she maintain a straight face trying not to laugh out loud
She was grinning inwardly
“What? Am not good enough for a mom? You think I can’t make a good mother?” she added with the seriousness this time
“Kalinda please,” Camilla shouted
Hunter was busy staring at her while Viola left, she said she needed to get something and they didn’t bother to ask her what it was
Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Camilla went for it
Kalinda continues her packing till she suddenly felt a presence behind her, With a swift move she gripped whoever it was by the neck and pinned the person down
“Ahhh,” Hunter shouted and she quickly let go of his neck
“Why would you sneak up on me like that?” she asked touching his neck gently
There were blood stain on his neck since her nails dug into his skin
Hunter didn’t say a word, he was busy staring at her without blinking, she was just so beautiful even without makeup, no wonder Cyprus don’t want to back down
“is something on my face?” she asked and looked at him, she returned her gaze to his neck as she gently cleans the blood
Hunter was lost staring at her cup size B@@bs to her eyes brows, the way her eyes lashes moved fascinated him, he then took his eyes to her lips, he didn’t know when he slowly took his hand to her lips but just before he could touch it Kalinda held his hand
“Are you high?” Kalinda asked, she made to get up since she was still on top of him but he tangled his leg around her
“Hunter listen….” he didn’t let her finish her statement, pulling her closer and slammed his lips on hers and that was when Cyprus came
