“It is finished,” Viola said sadly, her hand covering her mouth
She sat on the ground there staring at Cassidy, all she wanted at that moment was to kill her, what was Cassidy thinking? They have bunch of soldiers waiting for battle not far from their community and she enslaves the only person that can kill her father
“All his life he has always wanted to do something, but people call him weak, he buried himself in his own grave until Kalinda found him with the prophecy, just when he accepted his fate and is ready to fight your evil father and bring peace to mankind you enslave him,” Viola said, still seating on the floor
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know,” Cassidy muttered sadly
“You didn’t know? Or you did it on purpose? Why him of all people?” Viola yelled standing on her feet
She glared at Hunter who was holding tightly unto Cassidy as if protecting her with his life
“I’m sorry,” Cassidy said, she lowered her head picking on her nails
“You’re sorry?” Viola scoffed, nodding her head
Viola gently bent down as she grabbed hold of her combat knife
“Am sorry please I didn’t know,” Cassidy added, tears lingering at the corner of her eyes, threatening to fall down
“And am sorry to do this,” she replied throwing the knife at Cassidy
Ren froze immediately she saw that, but Hunter was fast to hit the knife away, stepping forward, he uses his other hand to pull Cassidy behind his back
“I don’t wanna fight you, don’t make me,” Viola said, and Hunter scoffed
“I won’t let you hurt my mistress,” he replied, meaning every word he said
“Just leave us alone,” Cassidy shouted from behind and Viola moved forward, Hunter did the same
Viola stopped and nodded
“I guess you want it the hard way,” Viola said, stepping backward, she walked away
Ren looked at Cassidy who was already in tears, going closer she pulled her into a hug, Cassidy hugged her back as tears rolled down her cheeks
“I didn’t know, I swear it. Why am I a witch? I just… I just wanna be like everyone else, I didn’t mean to hurt him,” Cassidy sobbed
Ren stroke her hair gently
“It’s okay, we will find a way,” she replied

EVENING ~~ ROBON ?
Robin was coming out from his mother’s chamber when he saw Ren, she looked at him and rolled her eyes before walking away, he ran after her
She was about to take a corner when he caught up with her and stood in front of her, blocking her way
“What?” she asked glaring at him
“I uh, I didn’t mean to kiss you without your permission, can we be normal friends again?” he asked
She glared at him with those angry look on her face
“No,” she replied curtly, turning around she started walking away
“But I already apologized, what more do you want me to do?” he asked more like shouting
Ren stopped and looked back at him
“Robin, I made it clear to you that I have a boyfriend, besides you don’t go around kissing people you barely even know,” she replied, and he went closer
“Have kissed a lot of girls, my friend Draco and I are pretty good with women,” he replied proudly, and she nodded
“I see,” Ren mumbled
Robin was about to reply when he saw Cassidy being dragged away by Kalinda, without wasting another second, he ran towards them, and Ren followed
Kalinda pushed Cassidy down, she looked back to see Hunter running after them with his sword in his hand, ready to fight
“Viola now!” she shouted
Viola stretches her hand towards Hunter creating a Barria in front of him, he touches the visible wall before punching it as if to break it down
Kalinda dragged Cassidy up by her hair, a knife to her throat
“Please I don’t want to die, I didn’t know. I swear it, please don’t kill me,” she sobbed, tears rolling down her cheeks
Camila just watches them without saying a thing, she was already feeling pity for the innocent girl, but what could she say? Viola made it clear that for Hunter to be free, Cassidy has to die, that’s the only way to break the spell
“You should have thought of that before putting him under your spell,” Kalinda said, pushing her combat knife deep into her throat, it cut through Cassidy’s skin and blood dripped from her neck
Hunters eyes widened
“I love her very much, please don’t hurt her, I love her just as much as I used to love you,” Hunter shouted, and Kalinda stopped
“Don’t listen to wh@tëver he says, his under her control,” Viola said, staring at Kalinda before talking her gaze to Hunter
“Please, just do this one thing for me, I love her very much,” Hunter added, he tried going over to them but couldn’t
“Please don’t kill her, she’s just a little girl who’s trying to run away from her family’s evil and live a normal life, just like everyone else,” Ren pleaded
“Ren,” Cassidy called, in tears
Ren also starts sobbing after seeing the knife and blood on Cassidy’s neck
“Kalinda please, you asked me to do something for you and I did it, so it’s time to return the favor,” Hunter added
Kalinda raised her brows
“He did it after all, then why didn’t I feel a thing, wait…. does that mean we’re no longer bound together? Oh yeah, the immortal,” Kalinda thought silently
“Kalinda don’t listen to him, he’s no longer himself, kill her,” Viola shouted bringing her back to her sense
“I’m sorry Hunter, and you too, am sorry but she messes with the wrong person,” Kalinda said to them, she pulled Cassidy’s hair backward
Kalinda took her hand off her throat raising it above before bringing it back down with the thought to slice her throat
“Kalinda waits,” Camilla suddenly shouted, and she stopped
Cassidy closed her eyes tightly, all hope was lost for her but then she heard Camilla’s voice, and all of a sudden, she has hope again
“Is there no other way? I mean look at her, I still remember when I was desperate for s*x, I don’t think she did it on purpose….” Viola didn’t let her finish
“What are you talking about? Listen this is not the time for this, okay? The king and his armies are waiting for war and you’re here saying this,” Viola cut in sharply
“What am saying is there should be another way without her dying, she deserves to be happy too and have a life, Kalinda you’re not a bad person, trust me you don’t want to kill her, there must be another way,” Camilla said, staring at Kalinda
“Don’t listen to her, just kill the girl already,” Viola said more like yelling
Kalinda’s head turning around as if it was going to fall off, she looked at Viola and then at Camilla. They both were confusing her
“Kalinda please don’t kill her, I read a book that….”
“Is there another way?” Kalinda cut in staring at Viola
Filled with rage, Viola let out a grunt sending deadly glares at Cassidy, she was so mad at her for using her powers wrongly
“Yes, the quillian,” she replied, and Kalinda’s hand dropped
“So, there was a way and you wanted her to kill an innocent girl?” Camilla shouted
“No, it can only be found in the immortal world, legend has it that only the high-rank Immortals can have the position of it, which means for her to get it she has to deal with Cyprus, the supreme god of immortals,” Viola replied, and Kalinda shook her head negatively
“No, don’t ask me to go there cos I will not, am not ready to face him, No way let’s kill her,” Kalinda said shaking her head
Camilla went closer, she gently took Cassidy from her, and Kalinda moved back
“You don’t want to kill her trust me, just go and get it,” Camilla said gently
“Please don’t make me do this,” Kalinda said, squeezing up her face
She couldn’t just find herself going over to Cyprus’s place after telling him that she will never return, she was just so mad at him, everything about him upset her so much, and going over to his place means he will start pestering her about marriage again
What if Hunter was right? What if she was starting to develop feelings for Cyprus or maybe she still loved him? She just doesn’t know about herself but the last thing she wanted to do was to go near him, she’s trying to avoid him and now they are telling her to go to his place.
“It’s the best way, you could save a life,” Camilla replied softly
“It will take a lot of time for you to get that, we are surrounded by thousands of soldiers,” Viola said and both Kalinda and Camilla stared at her
“What is the work of this quillian?” Ren suddenly asked
“It drowns her powers, and she will no longer be a threat to anyone,” Viola replied
Kalinda looked at Camilla and she gave her that puppy looks
“I will go get it,” Kalinda said, and Camilla’s face lit up, she went over to Kalinda and hugged her tightly
“Thank you, I love you very much,” Camilla said, and Kalinda pushed her off
“Silly,” she muttered walking away
“Good luck,” Viola and Ren shouted at a time
