Kalinda went into the house Jefferson told her about, and truly Hunter was there, she looked around the room
Kalinda shifted away from the door and closed it gently
“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be the leader of the army?” she asked and he kept quiet
“Hunter….”
“Why do you care, huh?” he suddenly snapped
She raised her brows
“I don’t understand,” Kalinda relied gently
“Okay, I was on my own when you came with this prophecy, you told me that you were gonna be by my side, you made me become so attached to you, and watching you fight makes all my doubt go away, I never wanted it, but you made me and now you are gonna leave me for him?” Hunter shouted, fighting back tears
Kalinda was silent
“You knew I have never held a sword all my life, I was just that boy that just wanted to live a normal life but everything changed immediately after you came, you know why I fought so hard the other time? Cos I have you by my side, it gives me strength and now all you do is push me away, how do you accept me to fight when there is nothing to fight for?” he shouted, tears rolling down his cheeks

Hunter took a few steps forward
They were so close that there is not much space left between them
“Is it because you think am weak? You think am not up to what you want, just like you called Xavier a farmer, you think am…..” he stopped when she turned around to leave
“Kalinda,” he called and she stopped
She still didn’t say a thing, how was she going to tell him that she was gonna die? After loving her then she will live him and die.
Hunter held her chin and raised her face, she stared at his face
“The last thing you need right now is distraction, love will make you weak….”
“Love doesn’t make a person weak,” he cut in and she swallowed nothing
“You love me? Tell me you love me so I will know what am fighting for,” Hunter added
“You’re fighting for the people,” She replied
“Say it, I just wanna hear it, tell me you love me,” Hunter said
“I will tell you everything you need to know after the fight, we don’t have much time left,” she replied and he nodded
They left the room
“Mother…. Mother,” Chad called running towards them
Kalinda turned around, her lips curved into a smile as she spread her arms, he ran into her arms and she carried him up
“Mother put me down, am now a big guy,” he shouted
Kalinda looked behind him to see Camilla coming their way
“What are you doing out here? I thought I told you to stay at the safe house with others?” she asked and he nodded gently
“Don’t go to war, I saw mother death, I saw you……” Camilla grabbed his hand making him stop
“you this little thing,” she shouted pulling him away
Kalinda and Hunter exchanged glances
“Mother please don’t go, I saw it…..”
“Shut up, you’re always seeing things,” Camilla shouted, shutting him up
“Cam wait,” Kalinda said and Camilla stopped
She made to hit Chad lightly on his head but Kalinda caught her hand before it could touch him, she looked at Camilla then she returned her gaze to Chad
“Baby I love you very much, am gonna be just fine, okay?” she said and kissed his hair
he shook his head negatively
“I saw it, I saw her, please don’t go,” he said with tears
“Baby, I need to help him fulfill the prophecy……..”
“We don’t have all day, King Tyrone’s army is approaching,” Viola shouted
Kalinda looked at Camilla before letting go of Chad’s hands
“Promise me, he will be fine,” she said and Camilla nodded
“Mother please don’t go, I saw it, I saw mother death,” Chad mumbled in between tears
Kalinda squatted to his level using her thumb to clean his tears
“I will be back as quick as I can, I promise,” she said and Camilla started taking him away

Kalinda inhaled and looked up, she exhaled and then looked at Hunter
“It’s been clear to me that am gonna die,” she mumbled going over to the gate with Hunter
Miguel and Gianna who has been watching them appeared instantly
“She’s gone, so what now?” Miguel asked and Gianna smirked
“I already told you the plan,” Gianna replied
“I will go wait for them at the battlefield,” Miguel said
“Then I will go for Camilla,” Gianna replied and they laughed like witches

Miguel stood at the top of a Cliff watching the fight, his gaze fixed on none other than Kalinda
“Never knew she is so good with sword fights,” Gianna said, standing beside him
“My stupid brother trained her himself,” Miguel replied, watching as Kalinda got to the king and they embark on a serious fight
She was dodging all the king’s attack
“Do you think she can kill the king?” Gianna asked and Miguel scoffed
“Her no, him yes, that’s why I sent all the army his way,” Miguel replied pointing at Hunter
Truly Hunter was surrounded by thousands of soldiers who won’t give him a chance, with each slight he brought down 10 guards with his long sword but more were still coming
They were pouring in like a raining water
“I will make him accept my offer and give me what I want,” Miguel said smirking
Kalinda position herself but the king suddenly pour a powder on her face, shw blinked twice but didn’t wasn’t seeing clearly, she felt something entering into her eyes,
rubbing her index finger on her eyes she looked forward but she couldn’t see anything
“Black powder, the king is so wise,” Miguel said laughing
King Tyrone gave her a cut on her knees and she went down straight, he slapped her hard across the face, kicking off her sword
King Tyrone gripped her hair before sending punches to her face, as if trying to perform a hand surgery on her

Xavier dodged a kick cutting off the head of his attacker, a sword find its way into his stomach
“AHHH,” he screamed in pain, pulling out the sword, he throw it at the one who stabbed him
Turning around, and kicked the sword and the guard fall with it, he looked forward to see Jefferson in front of a man
“Captain!” he yelled running over to them
Xavier knelt before him trying to get the knife stocked in his stomach out but Captain Derek stopped him
“No,” he said, blood gushing out from his mouth
“Captain I have to….”
“No, some….. some… some soldiers went over…… over the village, you have to save my daughter,” he said weakly
“Captain,” Xavier panicked
Captain Derek pulled off his rank, putting it into Xavier’s hand, Xavier looked at him like a joke
“You’re now in charge,” he said with a bloody mouth,
“Captain….. Captain,” Xavier called but there was no response

Kalinda was still crawling forward, trying to get away from King Tyrone, she couldn’t see a thing and he has beaten her black and blue
he suddenly grabbed her right leg pulling her back, King Tyrone laughed loudly before shoving his sword into her thighs
“ARGH!!!” she screamed agonizingly
“Kalinda!!!” Hunter yelled running towards them but soldiers were blocking his way
She was powerless and her sight was gone
“You know what I told your mother before she died? No matter how she tried to hide you from me, I will still find you and Füçking kill you, I am a GOD,” King Tyrone yelled
He stabbed Kalinda in her stomach twice and pulled out his sword, he laughed as he does that
“Cyprus, help me,” She said the only thing that came into her mind
“I’m the prophecy, I’m god, tell your mother that I said that,” King Tyrone yelled and raise his sword
She couldn’t see him so she didn’t move, just when he was about to stab her eyes Cyprus block it with his hand
The sword passes through his hand, just a little to touch Kalinda, King Tyrone pulled off his sword and the wound heals instantly
“You have no idea, do you?” Cyprus roared
Miguel’s face changed instantly as he saw that
“d@mn, I knew it, I know she was gonna call him and he will come, now look at this,” Miguel said angrily
“You have no business with humans,” King Tyrone said right at his face
“She’s my business, now call of your men,” Cyprus said
“I don’t take others from……” Cyprus grabbed his neck, pulling him up before flinging him away
King Tyrone went crashing on the sand, he coughed and Cyprus was already in front of him
“You have no idea, do you? You’re no match for me old man! Now call off your men or I will consider this as a sign of war,” Cyprus roared
King Tyrone looked at Cyprus, knowing that he’s the beginning of magic
“This isn’t over,” King took the whistle around his neck and blow it

Xavier looked around to see all the soldiers retreating, Jefferson looked around and the soldiers he was fighting with started retreating
“What the h*ll is happening?” Jefferson wondered
Cyprus went over to Kalinda who was half dead, getting close Viola looked at him
“They use black powder on her,” She said sadly but Cyprus ignored her
Taking his hand to Kalinda’s face, he opened his palm and face it directly into her eyes, black smoke started coming out instantly
“Back off,” Hunter yelled from nowhere and pushed him away
Cyprus stood, he didn’t even bother to finish what he was doing and without saying a word he started walking away
“Hey, Mr do goody, what did you do to her?” Hunter shouted, he was so mad
He couldn’t believe that he was trying to save her but those stupid soldiers were just too much
Cyprus ignored him
“Mr do good am talking to you,” Hunter shouted and Cyprus stopped
